Style Edit: The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, as seen on Daniel Craig at the Paris Olympics – James Bond's favourite watch gets new models in titanium, bronze gold and stainless steel
Few dive watches are as embedded in pop culture as the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. First made famous in 1993, when it appeared on Pierce Brosnan 's wrist during his turn as James Bond, the watch has seen updates over the decades – and as Daniel Craig succeeded Brosnan as 007. Throughout, it has stayed true to its identity: wave-patterned dial, skeletonised hands, distinct bezel and numerals, time-only design to preserve symmetry and a helium escape valve at 10 o'clock. The full release of the stainless steel models now includes one with a black aluminium bezel and dial, alongside another with a grade 5 titanium bezel and brushed PVD stainless steel dial. Both are available on mesh bracelets or rubber straps. Advertisement Omega hasn't stopped there. Taking inspiration from the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition worn in Craig's last turn as Bond – No Time to Die – the brand released two more versions using their unique bronze gold alloy, evoking the patina and tropical accents of that earlier version. The alloy resists corrosion and verdigris oxidation – a kind of greening that is common with bronze, as seen on large sculptures like the Statue of Liberty. Instead, the bronze gold present in the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M references from this release patinates gracefully, beautifully and uniquely to the wearer. Both bronze gold versions come with striking dial and bezel colours, and house the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 within the 42mm case with its domed sapphire crystal and oxalic anodised aluminium bezel ring. For those looking for more bronze gold, look to the burgundy bezel with black dial. The matt black tone of the dial comes from sandblasted aluminium, and is accented with PVD 18k bronze gold hands and blackened indexes. The addition of titanium – a material often used in aircraft and spacecraft – allows the watch to withstand extreme temperatures.

OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M now in Bronze Gold and Burgundy
The Seamaster Diver 300M remains one of OMEGA's most celebrated and iconic timepiece collections. Now, in 2025, the brand has unveiled a new series of models in bronze gold, combining adventurous spirit and superior precision with an exclusive material design. As with the most recent models in the collection, these special Bronze Gold editions are inspired by the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, which was launched in 2020 for the James Bond film, No Time to Die. Similar features include the mesh bracelet, the oxalic anodised aluminium bezel ring and dial, and the domed sapphire crystal. Bronze Gold is OMEGA's one-of-a-kind alloy, enriched with noble elements such as 37.5% gold, hallmarked as 9K, as well as palladium and silver. The material offers incomparable corrosion resistance without verdigris-oxidation, therefore aging slowly and retaining its natural and beautiful patina over a longer period of time. Two models are presented for this launch, both with a 42 mm case crafted in Bronze Gold, and each mounted with an oxalic anodised aluminium bezel ring in burgundy. This rich contrasting shade beautifully stands out on the wrist and reveals a diving scale in vintage Super-LumiNova. The matte black tone of the sandblasted aluminium dial is enhanced by PVD 18K Bronze Gold hands and blackened indexes, all filled with vintage Super-LumiNova, whereas the other markings, including the OMEGA logo and name, are transferred in light brown. The difference in the models appears around the wrist, where customers can choose between a version on a brushed Bronze Gold mesh bracelet on a foldover clasp, or alternatively on an integrated black rubber strap with a Bronze Gold buckle. Inside, each watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, visible through the caseback's sapphire crystal. Excellence in precision, performance and magnetic resistance is guaranteed by the Master Chronometer certification, with tests certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
