Mississippi dog seeks new home again at Massachusetts shelter

EAST BROOKFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A dog from Mississippi is looking for his next adoptive family for the third time. Loki has been waiting in the Second Chance Animal Shelter for over a year for his next family. He arrived in Massachusetts in 2017 and was quickly adopted, however, he was returned two months later. His next family kept him for six years before they had to give him up due to a lifestyle change. Chester woman wins $2M Massachusetts lottery, plans home upgrades Loki has been waiting for his new family since December 2023. For those interested in adopting, Loki is an 8-year-old Retriever, Labrador mix with a playful spirit. Sceon Chance Animal Services said that he also loves lounging, exploring fenced yards, and riding in the car. The adoption facility recommends a quiet home with few visitors and prefers a female owner but can warm up to men with time. Loki would do best without any small children or other pets in the home. You're in luck because Loki's adoption fee has been sponsored. For more information on Loki or additional animals ready for a new home, visit call 508-867-5525.
