SHAH ALAM – Police have confirmed that nudity took place during a marriage motivation programme called eHati, which was held at a convention centre here last September.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said investigations found that the nudity was part of a segment within the event known as 'Queens Night.'
"Investigations revealed that nudity involving about four individuals did take place.
"The Queens Night segment was immoral and sexually explicit in nature. Activities included a session called 'Rebirth', which was claimed to boost self-motivation," he said during a press conference at the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) on Wednesday.
He said the investigation also found that two packages were offered for the programme, known as Package A and Package B.
"Participants were charged RM6,000 for Package A and RM9,000 for Package B.
"Package B is believed to have concluded with the Queens Night segment. The investigation into this activity is being carried out under Section 294 of the Penal Code," he said.
Hussein said the programme was organised by a company and involved certain facilitators and participants who were still under police investigation.
"So far, no video recordings or photographs related to the Queens Night have been found.
"Only women are believed to have taken part in the event, but police are still investigating if any men were involved," he said. Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan - BERNAMA FILE PIX
