Shamiso joins BBL club: 'It's not a joke!'

Shamiso Mosaka is the latest South African celebrity to go under the knife to get a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) The reality TV star – the daughter of TV and radio presenter Azania Mosaka – travelled to Turkey to get the cosmetic procedure. In an Instagram post by Turkish plastic surgeons Mono Cosmetic Surgery, Shamiso revealed that she had travelled halfway around the world to get a BBL. The surgeons also posted before and after pictures of the results. Shamiso shared on her own IG account: 'I came to a foreign country by myself to have a surgery that is not child's play. A BBL is not a joke!' The heavily-tattoed star is already showing off her new hourglass figure, albeit for a bit of swelling. Shamiso is not the first, and certainly won't be the last, star to get a BBL. Others include celebs like Mihlali Ndamase, Thuli Phongolo, Sithelo Shozi, Cyan Boujee, Tessa Twala, and many more. For some, like Sithelo, the procedure involved a fat transfer. The mom-of-three – who also had '360 liposuction' – said in an interview in 2022: 'A lot of people think I have transplants [in my buttocks] – I do not. 'Basically, they will take fat from a certain part of your body and transfer it to wherever you want. I took stubborn fat around my abdomen area, and I wanted it in my buttocks, just to have a little bit of shape, and I filled out my hips'.
