He's the oldest active player in the NBA. The average person wouldn't know that by watching him play, as James made the All-NBA Second Team this year and became the oldest player in NBA history to receive an MVP vote, breaking Michael Jordan's 23-year-old record. A four-time MVP, James has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers (twice), Miami Heat and Lakers. He's a four-time champion and a four-time Finals MVP. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James© Soobum Im-Imagn Images A future Hall of Famer, James won his first two titles with the Heat in 2012 and 2013. Mario Chalmers, who was on those Miami teams, recently told NFL legend Shannon Sharpe that James used to get treatment in the clubs. Advertisement "I tell people this all the time, Bron will really get treatment if he was in the club. Like, he would literally have something on his knees or something on his back inside the club. So it's like why is somebody doing that, like that's a real dedication to just be in the club with treatment." Chalmers said. Sharpe went on asking what were the kind of treatments he is doing in the club. "Not ice bags, it'd be like the stim, like the stim machine that shoot electrolyte or electricity in your knees and stuff like that. He always have something [for] recovery." James has said many times that he takes recovery very seriously. The leading scorer in NBA history has never undergone surgery on his body because of an injury. The small forward is arguably the most durable athlete in NBA history. Advertisement Arguably the greatest player of all time, James has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks. He's the only player in NBA history to rank top five all-time in points and assists. James, who turns 41 in December, has a player option to return to the Lakers next season worth $52.6 million. The King is widely expected to pick up his option and play his 23rd NBA season. Deion Sanders Settles Beef With Asante Samuel With Heartfelt Gesture
Deion Sanders Settles Beef With Asante Samuel With Heartfelt Gesture originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Two months after engaging in an online feud with Asante Samuel, Deion Sanders revealed that he had made amends with the former Pittsburgh Steelers star. At the end of March, Samuel and Sanders clashed over their differing views on the "T-Step," a technique Samuel had adopted during his NFL career. Advertisement The Colorado Buffaloes' head coach said that he would be upset if his players used that movement. Those remarks didn't sit well with Samuel, who brought up his numbers and compared them to Sanders' to try to prove the "T-Step" really helped him. Samuel finished his career with 434 tackles, 51 interceptions for 728 yards, six touchdowns and seven forced fumbles in 157 games. Sanders played 188 games, finishing with 296 tackles, one sack, five forced fumbles, 53 interceptions for 1,331 yards and nine touchdowns. Even Shannon Sharpe chimed in on this discussion, telling Samuel that Sanders was levels ahead of him, drawing a strong response from the former New England Patriots cornerback. Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion J. Downing-Imagn Images During Saturday's edition of the "Say What Needs To Be Said" show, the pair sat and talked. Samuel said Sanders told him he wanted to be on his show to get him some views, while Sanders revealed that he took the first step to bury the hatchet and end this beef. Advertisement 'I reached out to my youngster," Sanders said. "I called him the youngster because he's still young compared to me. I want him to win in every facet. See, the thing about it, we've never heard him talk off the field. We've always heard you, you know, you said a little something on the field, but we never heard you say something. I think that was the Patriot way. That's Pat. So, when you retire and you start talking, we like, who is going what's wrong with you, man?' After a pretty intense battle, the two former players have moved on. Sanders is preparing for another college football season and waiting for his son, Shedeur, to start his NFL career, while Samuel is focused on his off-field ventures. Shannon Sharpe suffers fresh career setback amid ex-NFL star's $50million rape lawsuit
Pro Football Hall-of-Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe has announced that he will be postponing an upcoming nationwide tour of his 'Nightcap' podcast which was planned for this summer. Sharpe, age 56, announced this move on the latest episode of his podcast alongside his co-host, Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson, who was set to join him on the 'NSFW Tour'. The move comes at a time where Sharpe stepped back from his appearances on ESPN due to a $50million rape and sexual assault lawsuit which was filed against him last month. 'We've decided to postpone the Nightcap tour,' Sharpe said in a recent episode of the podcast. 'We look forward to seeing you guys in the summer of 2026. It's going to be even bigger, even better. 'But Ocho and I have come to the conclusion that this is the best thing as of right now, was to postpone the tour. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you in 2026.' The tour of the podcast was set to take place throughout June, July, and into mid-August. Tour stops included Baltimore, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Chicago, and finally, Detroit. Tickets for this tour went on sale back in late-March, however, the link to the tour has been removed from Sharpe's 'Shay Shay Media' website. Within weeks of that tour being announced, the lawsuit dropped - accusing Sharpe of 'assault, sexual assault, battery, and sexual battery.' Sharpe finally spoke to his YouTube audience about the suit he's facing in Nevada - which was filed by a Jane Doe. 'Everybody knows what I'm going through,' the legendary Denver Broncos tight end told Johnson. Sharpe has denied raping the woman, an ex-girlfriend identified in her filing as Jane Doe. Although he's continuing with both of his popular podcasts, the Pro Football Hall of Famer has stepped away from his part-time duties at ESPN. 'Stop worrying about what people who don't know you think,' he said. 'Stop worrying about that… I just need the people that I love to love me.' Sharpe began speaking a bit slower as alluded to the rape allegations he's currently facing. 'Obviously, the elephant is not in the room, Sharpe continued. 'He outside. Everybody knows what I'm going through. Lot of people have a lot to say. But, as my brother [former Packers receiver Sterling Sharpe] been calling me, I met a lot of people, and thank y'all to everybody that's reached out and the thoughts and prayers - I sincerely appreciate that - but when you think about it, Ocho, man, 50 percent of the people don't care that you got problems. 'The other 50 percent glad that you got them.' The attorney representing Sharpe's ex-girlfriend in her $50 million has released audio of two conversations between the former couple, which his attorney has dismissed as 'misleading.' 'I'm not really interested in getting choked,' the woman is heard saying in one tape recording first published by TMZ. 'I may choke you in public,' a man's voice, believed to Sharpe's, is said heard saying. 'Big black guy chokes small white woman.' The woman responded after a brief pause: 'It's not a good look, Shannon.' 'Not a good look that you did what the s*** you did to me,' the man's voice fired back, although it's difficult to say what he was referring to. The tape is eerily similar to another call previously released by Buzbee's office to in which Sharpe is heard saying: 'I'm gonna f***ing choke the s*** out of you when I see you.' Sharpe's attorney has confirmed the authenticity of that recording, but claimed his client was speaking 'in the heat of the moment' and the violent threat was 'not intended.' Sharpe has denied the allegations and accused the plaintiff of being financially motivated, although his attorney has confirmed he previously offered at least $10 million to settle the case with his accuser.

Shannon Sharpe downplays Luka Doncic's apparent weight loss
Shannon Sharpe downplays Luka Doncic's apparent weight loss People on social media have been talking lately about a photo of Luka Doncic attending a Real Madrid game. He looked noticeably slimmer in that photo, and it has created some hope that perhaps he is starting to take his fitness and conditioning seriously. There have also been a couple of reports that the superstar is starting anew as far as his health and fitness regime. However, Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, a huge LeBron James fan, doesn't seem impressed. He said on his "Nightcap" podcast that he wants to see Doncic in better shape once next season starts. 'I don't care what he looks like right now,' Sharpe said. 'I'm talking about when he comes back to play. I want him to look like this when he comes back to play.' '…He looks good, but again, I don't worry about what he looks like right now. He ain't got to play for 4-5 months. I want to see what he looks like when he comes back.' Doncic has been consistently criticized for being pudgy and out of shape. He has often appeared winded late in games, which has impacted not only his defense but perhaps also his shooting. But if he indeed improves his fitness and conditioning, he could perhaps become an even greater player. That is a scary prospect for the rest of the NBA, given the fact that he already averaged 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists a game as a member of the Lakers following the big trade that sent him there.
