New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers: Predictions, picks, odds for Eastern Conference finals Show Caption Hide Caption What can we expect next year from 'Inside the NBA' crew? Shaq shares how he's feeling about the last season of 'Inside the NBA' on TNT and what to look forward to next year on a new network. Sports Seriously The NBA playoffs continue with a crucial Game 6 in the Eastern Conference finals between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks on Saturday night. The Pacers lead the series 3-2. The Knicks extended the series after a dominant 111-94 victory at Madison Square Garden in Game 5. Jalen Brunson scored 32 points to go with five rebounds and five assists. Karl-Anthony Towns added 24 points and 13 rebounds despite battling a bruised left knee to help keep the Knicks' season alive. The series returns to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the potentially decisive Game 6. The Pacers are determined to finish the series in front of their home crowd and secure their second NBA Finals appearance in franchise history. Here is how to watch Saturday's Game 6 between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. KNICKS: Draw up blueprint to beat the Pacers. Can it save their season? Knicks vs Pacers predictions: Eastern Conference finals Game 6 picks USA TODAY: Pacers are unanimous pick Jeff Zillgitt: Pacers 111, Knicks 106 Pacers 111, Knicks 106 Scooby Axson: Pacers 117, Knicks 103 Pacers 117, Knicks 103 Cydney Henderson: Pacers 118, Knicks 113 Pacers 118, Knicks 113 James Williams: Pacers 110, Knicks 105 ESPN: Pacers have a 58% chance of winning According to ESPN's Matchup Predictor, the Indiana Pacers have a 58% chance of beating the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals. Bleacher Report: Pacers punch ticket to finals Andy Bailey writes: "With the Knicks' transition offense limited by fewer Pacer turnovers and Indiana a bit more locked in from three, the Pacers should be able to win at home and end this series. As is often the case when a series hits this point (one team having more than one chance to close things out), Indiana appeared to have let its foot off the gas a bit even before the game started. It's human nature to let your mind drift to the fact that you'll get another shot at home in 48 hours. But that won't happen again. Knowing Game 7 would be in New York will force the Pacers to focus and come out far more aggressively on Saturday. And after that win, Indiana will return to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000." Draft Kings: Indiana Pacers Julian Edlow writes: I'll take Indy to go wire-to-wire again in Game 6 and advance to the NBA Finals. You can bet them on the double result (lead at halftime and win the game) at even money, and/or lay the -4 on the Pacers at DraftKings Sportsbook." New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers Game 6 odds The Indiana Pacers are favored to beat the New York Knicks in Game 6 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, according to BetMGM (odds as of evening of Friday, May 30): Spread : Pacers (-3.5) : Pacers (-3.5) Moneyline : Pacers (-175); Knicks (+145) : Pacers (-175); Knicks (+145) Over/under: 219.5 How to watch New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers Game 6 Time: 8 p.m. ET 8 p.m. ET Location: Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis) Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis) TV: TNT, truTV TNT, truTV Stream: Sling TV, Max Watch Pacers vs. Knicks Game 6 on Sling Knicks vs. Pacers Eastern Conference finals schedule (Pacers lead series 3-2) All times Eastern; *-if necessary

'The show is still here, baby' - Shaquille O'Neal reassures fans as Inside the NBA on TNT nears its end before moving to ESPN

Inside the NBA is not just a mere sports show but an emotion for almost all NBA fans out there. As all good things come to an end, after a glorious 35-season run, the show will have its final episode on TNT during the Eastern Conference Finals series between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers before moving to ESPN. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now With the day nearing, commentator Shaquille O'Neal reassured fans that it is just the show and the broadcasting banner that are ending. The four commentators are taking the property to a different location where it will just be rebranded, and that's all. Hosts of Inside the NBA to retain creative freedom under ESPN, Shaquille O'Neal seems optimistic about keeping the quality of the show intact The studio show that analysed the NBA matches was hosted by a bunch of rather entertaining figures from the world of sports, including Shaquille O'Neal, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith. While the matches are analysed in a lighthearted manner along with fun banter, Inside the NBA remains one of the most successful studio shows produced across any channels. ESPN, over the years, tried its hand at doing so but failed to grab the attention of the audience like the one on TNT. Following the series of debacles, ESPN, in a landmark deal, acquired the rights to the show while giving away the exclusive rights to a slate of Big 12 football and men's college basketball games. However, fans can be assured about the quality of the show being intact, owing to the fact that the creators will have the freedom to produce episodes independently without the interference of any higher authority. Reflecting on the very aspect of preserving the essence of the show, commentator Shaquille O'Neal in a recent clip from the studio ahead of the Game 5 between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks, expressed his emotions regarding the shift from TNT to ESPN. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now 'As all say when something passes away, something is reborn. Yes it is the ending of Inside the NBA on TNT, but it is a new beginning for us.' the former basketball player stated, 'I am glad we are still together, whatever network we go to. And whatever network we're coming to, we're bringing the pain…The show is still here, baby. You can never kill the four horsemen. We are coming and we are coming to take spots. We are coming to kick ass and take names. We will do it our way.' Shaq, through his comments, made it pretty clear that the hosts of the show are in no mood to compromise the nature of their content, irrespective of the broadcaster. 'All the sadness about that show. We are coming with a whole new show! And we don't care who are in our way. We are coming to kick ass and take names.' Also read: Shaq's words came as some sort of relief for the audiences of the show. While there were speculations amongst the NBA fans that the move away from TNT would bring about changes in the format of the show, the commentator's statement is enough to keep the audience count intact, even though the move away would still hurt for some of them.

Shaq had an emphatic message ahead of Inside the NBA's swan song

It's certainly hitting home that we're in the final days of Inside the NBA's time on air now. For years, Inside the NBA has been a basketball staple as TNT's pre and postgame show. The broadcast has brought a lot of laughs to fans and to the crew of Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal amidst their hijinks. Advertisement Yet, despite fan's pleas, TNT's Inside the NBA as we all know it is changing once ESPN takes over the reins next basketball season. While it's been confirmed that Inside the NBA is moving over to ESPN along with the crew, the details of what the show will become are still nebulous. As such, fans have been dreading the lead up to the final days of the show because it certainly won't be the same in some way when the dust settles at ESPN. On Thursday, ahead of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals with the New York Knicks' season on the line, Shaq delivered a quite poignant and emphatic message to his cohosts and the fans watching. Given that the series between the Knicks and Indiana Pacers is nearing its end, TNT is running out of games left to broadcast this season, as the NBA Finals will be covered by ESPN this year. So, to honor that time coming to an end, Shaq's speech absolutely hit the mark for one of the final send offs we'll get for Inside the NBA. It's great to see the Inside the NBA crew in high spirits despite all the uncertainty and instability with this move. Here's to an amazing ride for this show.
