Just when fans were expecting Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' to make a thunderous post-credit entry in War 2, YRF has taken a bold detour. Instead, India Today has exclusively learnt that the film will introduce the 'Alpha' agents — played by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh— in a carefully designed post-credit sequence that connects directly to the next YRF Spy Universe source closely associated with the project confirmed, 'The decision to not include Shah Rukh Khan in the post-credit scene is strategic. For 'War 2', the focus is on what comes next — and that's 'Alpha'.'Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, who lead YRF's first female-led spy film 'Alpha' slated for release in December 2025, will be introduced in a short but powerful cameo at the end of 'War 2', similar to how Marvel teases its next chapters. YRF has also been following the same pattern since 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Pathaan' and 'Tiger 3'. Speaking to India Today, the source said, "It's short, yes, but it has tension, mystery and a hint of what these two women are capable of. 'The cameo was filmed quietly earlier this year, with minimal crew."The move also helps build early buzz for Alpha, which has been in production under high secrecy.
