UAE President receives Egyptian President on fraternal visit
His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt arrived in Abu Dhabi today on a fraternal visit to the UAE. UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was at the Presidential Airport to welcome the Egyptian President upon his arrival. Also present to welcome the Egyptian President were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President's Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; along with a number of senior officials.

Dubai Government Human Resources Department announces Eid Al Adha holiday for year 1446 AH
The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) issued a circular announcing the Eid Al Adha holiday for the year 1446 Hijri. All government entities, departments, and institutions across Dubai will observe a public holiday from Arafat Day, 9th Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH (Thursday, 5th June 2025) until 12th Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH (Sunday, 8th June 2025). Official working hours will resume on Monday, 9th June 2025. Entities, departments, and institutions with employees working on shift-based schedules or involved in public services or essential facilities management are exempt from the holidays. These entities can set work schedules for the exempt employees based on their specific operational needs to maintain uninterrupted public service delivery. Accordingly, Wednesday, 28 May 2025, will be the first day of Dhu Al Hijjah. Consequently, Friday, June 6, 2025, corresponding to 10 Dhu Al Hijjah, will be the first day of Eid Al Adha, 'On this occasion, we extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the Supreme Council members and rulers of the emirates; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court; the people of the UAE; and the entire world.
