The actor and producer died in 2021 due to Covid-19-related complications. Recalling the laughter he brought to their lives, she expressed gratitude for the beautiful memories they shared during their 20 years together. "Happy Heavenly birthday, my skat. Conversations about you always end up in laughter! You gave us such a good, happy life! Thank you for the beautiful memories! They've really kept us going even in the most challenging circumstances," she wrote on Instagram. Their daughter, Lesedi Matsunyane-Ferguson, also honoured her father with a touching video, reflecting on his joy in their lives and how those memories help them navigate their grief. "I'm reposting this because you truly brought laughter and joy into our lives when you were with us. It's always bittersweet to think of you as no more, but the memories get us through.
