Shuvee Etrata was in for a special treat from Kuya on 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' — video messages from her family for her birthday! The Kapuso actress' father, Michael, said, 'Anak, happy birthday. I miss you and I love you.' Her mother, Jorena, said, 'Happy birthday, Shuv. Wish you all the best and God bless you more.' Shuvee's siblings also greeted her a happy birthday. Shaina said, 'I miss you so much. Alam mo na 'yan. Magsumikap ka. I love you.' Shynmen said, 'We love you. Happiest birthday, Ate Shuv. We are so proud of you.' Her brothers Shaunn and MJ both gave their greetings and told Shuvee they love her. In tears, Shuvee thanked Kuya for the present. ''Yun po 'yung pamilya ko, Kuya. Shuvee Etrata chose Klarisse De Guzman and Dustin Yu picked Bianca De Vera as their final duos in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." In the episode on Friday, Shuvee explained she chose Klarisse because she's among the people who bring joy in Bahay ni Kuya. "I'm gonna follow what's in my heart and I choose this duo kasi po [ang] tagal na po namin pinag-usapan na maging [mag]ka-duo, so ang pinipili ko pong maging final ka-duo ay si ate Klang," said Shuvee. Klarisse accepted Shuvee's decision. Shuvee and Klarisse ranked second and third for their last duo formation task. Ralph De Leon, who ranked first, chose Will Ashley as his final duo on Thursday's episode. Dustin, who ranked fourth, chose his duo next. The Kapuso housemate chose Bianca, saying she has been a huge part of his "PBB" journey. "Andami kong natutunan sa kaniya and I can't wait na mas matuto pa sa kaniya as a duo. Itong taong 'to ay very important sa 'kin at ito ay si Bianca," he said. Ralph De Leon, Shuvee Etrata, Klarisse de Guzman retain top 3 spots after duo formation task
Ralph De Leon, Shuvee Etrata, and Klarisse de Guzman retained their rankings for the final duo formation task in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." On Wednesday's episode, the housemates began the challenge: they must memorize the order of the poles at the first station, arrange them in the second station, and balance them to reach the third station. The rankings that they decided earlier gave them a 20-second advantage over the next person. Meanwhile, the four housemates who won the Big Intensity Challenge (Ralph, Shuvee, Esnyr, and AZ Martinez) has the power to freeze the housemates for one minute. Ralph, Shuvee, and Klarisse were the first three to start the task and also the first three to finish, using their advantage to the fullest. Esnyr used his power to freeze, but Ralph was still able to complete the task ahead of everyone. A shakeup happened in the next three housemates to complete the task: Dustin Yu, originally ranked 10th, jumped to fourth place. He was followed by Will Ashley, the original fourth ranked, who slid down to fifth. Mika Salamanca, the original sixth, also retained her rank to complete the top half of the rankings. The results of the remaining housemates have yet to be revealed. Shuvee Etrata, Ralph De Leon get immunity from next nomination after winning first Big Intensity Challenge
Shuvee Etrata and Ralph De Leon have been given immunity from the next nomination of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" after winning the first Big Intensity Challenge. Aside from getting immunity, Shuvee and Ralph have also won the right to choose their final duo. In Friday's episode, Kuya called Shuvee into the confession room where he told her she had won among the Kapuso housemates, who went against each other for the challenge. Shuvee was the fastest to finish the challenge at six minutes and five seconds. She was followed by Will Ashley (11 minutes), Dustin Yu (14 minutes and 20 seconds), Mika Salamanca (20 minutes and 46 seconds), Vince Maristela (29 minutes and 40 seconds), and Charlie Fleming and AZ Martinez who didn't finish the challenge. The Sparkle star was shocked at first before turning emotional as she received her medal. "Kuya, thank you. Sobrang saya ko po Kuya na nagbunga po ang lahat ng pag-aaral ko. To win that po means a lot kasi karapat-dapat po akong manatili sa bahay niyo po pala Kuya, so na-answer po lahat ng tanong sa utak ko. Sobrang saya ko po ngayon," she said. Ralph was called next into the confession room, where he was told he was the first to finish the challenge among the Kapamilya housemates at four minutes and 43 seconds. He was followed by Xyriel Manabat (six minutes and nine seconds), Brent Manalo (six minutes and 12 seconds), Klarisse De Guzman (six minutes and 31 seconds), Esnyr (eight minutes and 48 seconds), and Bianca De Vera and River Joseph who didn't finish the challenge. "Sobrang saya ko talaga kasi first time ko magka-immunity and syempre sobrang laking bagay po nito na kakabalik ko lang po nakapanalo na ako agad ng ganito," said Ralph. "Nakabalik po ako sa Bahay na 'to because of the support of the people outside and I just want to prove to them na hindi mali 'yung pagtitiwala nila sa 'kin," he added. Shuvee Etrata joins 'Sang'gre' cast
Shuvee Etrata is part of the "Sang'gre!" cast! On social media, GMA Network shared the first look on Shuvee's character in the upcoming series. In the photo, the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" was clad in a warrior costume and was out in the war. "First look at Shuvee Etrata's newest character in the latest 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre' teaser!" the caption read. The upcoming series will feature a new generation of Sang'gres played by Bianca Umali, Kelvin Miranda, Angel Guardian, and Faith Da Silva. Aside from Shuvee, the series will also introduce new characters played by Jon Lucas, Gabby Eigenmann, Rhian Ramos and Ysabel Ortega among others.
