Style News: The Editor's Market opens in Great World, Vivaia's Wisma Atria pop-up, Loewe Puzzle turns 10

The Editor's Market's 1,800 sq ft space in Great World is airy and bright, thanks to the skylight letting in artificial natural lighting. PHOTO: THE EDITOR'S MARKET The Editor's Market opens in Great World Home-grown women's fashion retailer The Editor's Market (TEM) has opened the doors to its newest branch. Located in Great World, the store serves as a central outpost for the brand, which has outlets in Jem and Tampines 1. TEM recently closed its flagship store, which housed a cafe, in Takashimaya Shopping Centre at the end of its three-year lease, although it will be reopening at a different unit on the same floor in July. The new 1,800 sq ft space in Great World is a departure in design from its previous, larger store. Minimalist in look, the store is airy and bright, thanks to the skylight letting in artificial natural lighting. Two large chequered cylinders anchor the space, displaying selected apparel in more private nooks. The Editor's Market opens in Great World. Louis Vuitton's spring/summer 2025 collection continues the brand's ‘soft power' vibe with the versatile LV Biker bag and hybrid Sneakerina, each blending elegance with functionality

Every season there are certain accessories that top every fashion editor's wish list. For spring/summer 2025, Louis Vuitton has pretty much monopolised those lists by creating not one but two covetable styles that are creating plenty of buzz. Hot on the heels of the now iconic GO-14 bag is the chic and striking LV Biker bag. In keeping with the ready-to-wear collection's theme of 'soft power' , this bag embodies a new spirit of femininity that is both delicate and powerful. Designed by Nicolas Ghesquière , Louis Vuitton's artistic director of women's collections, and inspired by classic biker jackets, it combines resilience with elegance while showcasing new leather techniques and exceptional details borrowed from the maison's rich history of trunk-making. It can be worn in multiple ways thanks to an assortment of straps and handles – turning it into a clutch, shoulder bag or a cross-body. Another defining feature is the new Pixel two-toned grained lambskin leather, with a unique texture which is created by adding a surface layer of colour to create more depth. The bag comes in a range of cool colours and three sizes ranging from the MM – a larger style for all your essentials – to the Nano which is perfect for an evening out. The bag showcases new leather techniques and exceptional details – testament to Louis Vuitton's rich history of trunk-making. This fresh creation plays on contrasts and is a hybrid design that can best be described as part trainer, part contemporary ballet flat. Embodying a more minimalist approach to sportswear, its dynamic, streamlined silhouette includes a flexible sole that offers incredible freedom of movement and agility. It's also a testament to functional elegance – each variation has been specially designed for everyday wear to match any look, be it casual or formal. Part trainer, part ballet flat, the Sneakerina reflects Louis Vuitton's 'soft power' vibe by being both functional and elegant. Choose from myriad material and colour combinations, including velvet-effect and metallic leathers, technical satin, glittering sequin embroidery and mesh, in a striking palette of tones such as fuchsia, forest green, beige, black and white, pink, blue and silver.

Marlon Wayans Pushes a Football Star Too Hard in Trailer for Jordan Peele-Produced ‘Him'

Marlon Wayans has a unique training regimen for an upstart football player in the first trailer for the Jordan Peele-produced horror movie Him. Universal Pictures releases director Justin Tipping's feature in theaters Sept. 19. Tyriq Withers, Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, Jim Jefferies, Akeem Hayes and Tierra Whack round out the cast for the movie that debuted its first footage at CinemaCon earlier this month. More from The Hollywood Reporter Glen Powell to Star in Judd Apatow Comedy About Fallen Country Music Star Louis Vuitton Launches Sneakerina at Santa Monica's San Vicente Bungalows With Haim Sisters 'M3GAN 2.0' Hits CinemaCon With New Trailer, 30 Dolls Dancing to Britney Spears Hit Him follows an on-the-rise quarterback (Withers) who is invited by an aging player (Wayans) to learn about his perilous journey to achieve success at any cost. The script from Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie was previously included on the Black List. Producers for Monkeypaw include Peele, Ian Cooper, Win Rosenfeld and Jamal Watson. 'Talent is how hard you're willing to work,' Wayans instructs Withers in the trailer that includes scenes teasing ritualistic violence. ''I'm never good enough' — that's how great people think. So you're going to have to ask yourself, 'What am I willing to sacrifice?'' Withers and Wayans took the stage during Universal's CinemaCon presentation on April 2 to introduce the film's footage. Wayans jokingly likened their project to a wholesome 1990s sports drama: 'It's kinda like Rudy.' This led Withers to fire back, 'It's nothing at all like Rudy.' Withers added that the film is 'something that burrows under the skin.' Wayans posted the trailer to Instagram with the cryptic caption, 'Bro… it's different.' He is also set to co-write and star in the sixth installment in the Scary Movie franchise, which hit theaters in summer 2026. Withers also appears in the forthcoming sequel I Know What You Did Last Summer and is set for a role in Reminders of Him. Louis Vuitton Unveils the LV Sneakerina

Style icons and industry stars toasted the launch of Louis Vuitton's brand-new LV Sneakerina on Thursday, April 10 at the recently opened San Vicente Bungalows in Santa Monica. Guests like HAIM and Phoebe Dynevor came decked in Louis Vuitton for the celebration, where DJ group Ladies of Leisure kept spirits high and feet — sporting the brand's new hybrid shoe creation — moving. Halfway between a sneaker and contemporary ballet flat, the aptly-named Sneakerina is a dynamic design built to add elegance to everyday wear. The Sneakerina encourages its wearers to stay in motion, and the flexible Sacchetto sole allows for a dancer's agility. There's a Sneakerina for everyone. The vast selection of materials includes satin, glittering sequins and metallic leathers, and the design comes in eye-catching color combinations, from bright fuchsia to forest green, metallic silver, black, white, blue and a more neutral beige. A symbol of Louis Vuitton's commitment to avant-garde design, each variation of the innovative sneaker features the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram, canvas and LV circle. Other well-heeled guests from the fashion and entertainment worlds enjoying cocktails and bites (like pizza and ice cream sandwiches) served in the venue's two separate rooms and scenic outdoor patio included Devon Ross, Ryan Destiny, Sasha Calle, Charlotte Lawrence, Lizzy Greene, Lorraine Nicholson, Reign Judge, Lily Chee, Soukeyna Diouf, Jamie Mizrahi, Elizabeth Stewart, Jeanne Yang, Jacqui Getty Laura Love.
