Sony has introduced its largest television to date in India with the launch of the BRAVIA 5 98-inch Mini-LED TV. This new model, named K-98XR55A, marks Sony's entry into the super large TV segment, which aims to target customers who want to enjoy a cinema-like viewing experience at home. The television comes with a 4K UHD Mini LED display with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. Along with this, the TV features the XR Backlight Master Drive, a backlighting technology that precisely controls a large number of LEDs. 15 Years of PlayStation Plus: Full line-up of July games and anniversary events revealed
PlayStation Plus is commemorating its 15th anniversary this month, with Sony Interactive Entertainment outlining a range of activities, promotions, and giveaways that will run throughout the summer. The subscription service, which launched on 29 June 2010, has evolved significantly over the years. To mark the milestone, Sony is offering subscribers access to new monthly games, limited-time game trials, store discounts, and competitive gaming events. For the month of July, PlayStation Plus members will be able to download three titles as part of their membership. These includeDiablo IV (available on both PS5 and PS4), a dark fantasy action RPG that features solo and co-op gameplay, cross-platform progression, and an expansive open King of Fighters XV (PS5, PS4) continues the long-running fighting game series with 39 playable characters, rollback netcode for improved online performance, and a bonus 'Classic Leona' costume for fans of the (PS5), a narrative-driven puzzle climbing game, invites players to explore a mysterious tower at their own pace, uncovering the remnants of a lost civilisation through intuitive traversal mechanics. Sony launches Bravia 5 series smart mini LED TV range in India
Sony on Thursday (June 26, 2025) launched the Bravia 5 smart mini LED TV range in India running the XR processor, Dolby Atmos and Vision, 3D and spatial audio. Like the other Bravia series, the new Bravia 5 range also has the Studio Calibrated Mode and Sony Pictures Core. The Bravia 5 comes with XR Triluminos Pro technology with XR Clear, a new AI algorithm, that enhances experience and expanded color quality along with better clarity. Bravia 5 comes with the acoustic multi-sound technology, with the improved sound positioning tweeters and dual down-firing full range speakers. With AI, the Voice Zoom 3 analyses audio in real time to detect and isolate human voices, automatically adjusting their volume for better clarity.
