Mumbai: Television actress Smita Bansal has officially wrapped up her journey on the popular show 'Bhagya Lakshmi.' Bansal, who played the role of Neelam Oberoi in the show, described her time on 'Bhagya Lakshmi' as both fulfilling and rewarding. She shared that the role gave her immense creative satisfaction and allowed her to grow further as an artist. Speaking about bidding goodbye to Bhagya Lakshmi, Smita Bansal said the experience left a lasting impact on her as an actor. She shared, 'Bhagya Lakshmi will always hold a very special place in my heart. Over these four years, I've not only had the privilege of playing a wonderfully written character but also built lifelong bonds with my cast and crew. This set became my second home, and everyone here became my extended family. The production house and the creatives of the show made my journey so comfortable.' 'Playing Neelam has been nothing short of an amazing journey; it challenged me, inspired me, helped me learn so much from the people around me, and gave me immense satisfaction as an actor. Working with Zee TV after almost 18 years was a wonderful experience.' Smita Bansal joined the cast of 'Bhagya Lakshmi' in 2021, bringing to life the character of Neelam Oberoi—a strong-willed matriarch caught between tradition, authority, and heartfelt emotions. Her impressive body of work features prominent roles in popular TV shows such as Zee TV's 'Amanat,' 'Aashirwad, Sarhadein,' and Sony SAB's 'Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga.' If you're a true TMKOC fan, you must've seen the iconic 'Tapu Ki Shaadi' episode in which Jethalal's son gets married. It is one of the most loved storylines of the show. In the episode, little Tapu (played by Bhavya Gandhi) gets married to Tina, the daughter of a gangster, and their marriage brings a lot of challenges to Jethalal's (played by Dilip Joshi) life. What was more shocking was the entire society getting happily involved in all the wedding functions, including Daya Ben, Champaklal and Sundar. Tapu's wife, Tina, was one of her own kind of character. Despite a short runtime, her character is still fresh in the audience's mind. But do you know who Tina really is? Tina's real name is Nupur Nimesh Bhatt. She is a choreographer and has maintained an active social media presence. The 25-year-old often shares her dancing videos with her Instafam. On Instagram, Nupur has shown her dancing abilities in a number of styles, including classical and freestyle. Apart from that, she also has a sweet spot for content creation and supports brands. The youngster has around 53.7K followers. After her appearance as Tina in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the actress hasn't been seen in any other TV shows or films. The Tapu Ki Shaadi episode depicted Tapu and Tina's child marriage as Champaklal (played by Amit Bhatt) wanted his grandson to get married as a child because he worried about his family's future. He gets support from his daughter-in-law Daya and her brother Sundar. However, Jethalal stood against his father's decision but couldn't do anything about the situation. As the storyline progresses, we see several challenges Tapu's marriage brings to Gokuldham society and Jethalal's personal life. As soon as the police get to know about the child marriage, they come and arrest the groom's father. But surprisingly, the entire wedding was nothing but a dream sequence of Jethalal. A latest report by IWM Buzz quoted a source as saying the daily soap 'will show the lead Shabir Ahluwalia's intriguing past, which will be driven by AI (artificial intelligence), wherein Shabir's younger avatar will be shown through AI." Uff Yeh Love Hai Mushkil promises a refreshing mix of comedy and romance. It is supposed to investigate the transformational power of love among the chaos of everyday existence. While the show will air on Sony SAB, its premiere date has not yet been set. The show promises to be a great laugh riot between two families, as well as a confrontation between the primary characters, Yug Sinha and Kairi Sharma, played by Shabir and Ashi, respectively.
