WEBSTER SPRINGS, (WBOY) — A small-town West Virginia festival that attracts visitors and competitors from all over the world is coming up.
The Webster County Woodchopping Festival is celebrating its 60th year in 2025. The festival hosts the Southeastern World Championship in woodchopping, with events happening throughout the day on Friday, May 24 to Sunday, May 25. The event is world renown and attracts the top woodchoppers and lumbermen in the world, according to the event website.
Non-competitors can spend their Memorial Day Weekend enjoying the competitions as well as live music, parades, food, raffles and craft events.
