Following the brand's unexpected site shutdown, the last of the popular luggage styles can still be found at retailers like Net-A-Porter and Ssense. Its clear material lets you see everything inside, meaning you'll never have to dig for a hard-to-find lipstick. Aside from having enough space to store brushes, powders, creams and more, the case is also built with silicone, stain-repellant coating that lets you breathe easy should anything leak. Net-A-Porter A sleek and modern duffle bag made of sustainable EcoCraft twill that is both durable and incredibly soft, the Paravel Rove Duffle Bag is spacious enough to fit three to four days of clothes, a pair of shoes and a toiletry bag. It offers a sleek and sophisticated look that wouldn't feel out of place on a business trip, but is still casually dressy enough to bring to dinner after a hard workout at the gym. Ssense Named one of our favorite weekender bags, the Paravel Grand Tour Duffle is durable, elegant and offers ample packing space. 9 midi skirt styles to ace the It-girl brief
Courtesy of Miu Miu If The Hemline Index—proposed by economist George Taylor in 1926—has any truth to its obvious whimsy, it seems we're headed for a recession. In contrast to the carefree attitude that comes with wearing a frothy mini, the industry is suggesting we give our skirts more fabric, pulling hemlines downwards over the knees. A sign of the times it may be, but it's one the zeitgeist is surely on board with—no matter the connotations. From the runways to the streets, the chic result of an organised takeover has us all convinced: the midi skirt is here to stay. Over the fall/winter 2025 season, fashion houses ruled in favour of the unassuming skirt style, which once carried a reticent quality to it. Instead, the midi was reclaimed in exquisite impressions. There were the delicious sculptures that played with volume and texture, such as the peplum, fringe-style skirts on Pieter Mulier's Alaïa runway. A sensual approach to styling also had a big part to play in the recent season; one might recall the effortless '90s feel of Calvin Klein's corporate refresh. Yet one can't possibly discuss the midi skirt revival without bringing Miuccia Prada's name into the pit; be it the Y2K candor at Miu Miu or the directional shapes at Prada. Alaïa fall/winter 2025. On any given day, one could scroll their social media feeds and find the likes of Gabbriette, Charli XCX or Alex Consani sporting a midi with ease, paired to an itty-bitty top no less. Cementing her cool girl status further over in Seoul, we've also been on the receiving end of Seulgi's layered skirt delivery in her recent teaser images for an impending comeback with fellow member Irene. And if you're asking Rihanna, it seems a Miu Miu midi was the only way to go for her third baby bump reveal. With its staying power a given, here comes the catch. Korean-based contemporary fashion and accessories label Margesherwood has opened a New York City pop-up, now open through June 29 at 117 Wooster Street in SoHo. Dubbed 'A Memory Archive,' the pop-up draws inspiration from nostalgia, including the desire to relive treasured moments and to embrace the happiness of our youth. It houses an assortment of Margesherwood's handbags and accessories, including an exclusive look at the brand's new 'it bags' for Fall Winter 2025, including the 'Grandma' and 'City Hobo' lines, both available for purchase only at the New York pop-up. Founded in Korea, Margesherwood has quickly built a cult following for its functional yet fashion-forward accessories, inspired by the sensibility and mood of 1990s style. The label is currently sold at as well as at major North American retailers including Ssense, Revolve, and Kith.
