The Nurses Ball Kicks Off With An Arrest & Mysterious Arrival On May 20 General Hospital
As everyone hit the Nurses Ball red carpet before the big event, the twists came one after another on the May 20, 2025 episode of General Hospital. Amidst the sparkly dresses and fun photos, tension filled the Nurses Ball red carpet. With rivals Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) as co-hosts, every person who walked the carpet had an issue with either Drew, Nina, or both of them. READ THIS: Here's what's coming up on GH. As The Quartermaines piled in, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) were just about to hit the carpet when he got a work call from Mac (John J. York). Brook Lynn was forced to walk in with Tracy (Jane Elliot), while Chase received an order he didn't want to carry out. Once he walked in and joined his wife and Tracy on the carpet, he had no choice but to say, 'Tracy Quartermaine, you are under arrest.' Chase arrested Tracy right there on the red carpet and hauled her into the station for being accused of drugging Drew. Mac revealed a vial of ketamine was found in her car, and Tracy immediately realized that Drew was framing her. Just as Drew and Nina were about to wrap things up on the carpet, he noted they saved the best for last as Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) walked in. Drew immediately planted one on her before Nina introduced her daughter. READ THIS: GH's Eden McCoy (Josslyn) offers advice about grief on State of Mind. At the same time, a mysterious person dressed in a suit was seen on a jet, watching Willow and Drew on the Nurses Ball red carpet. Do you think the mystery person is Michael coming home for the ball? Let us know in the comments.

General Hospital Spoilers May 21: The Nurses' Ball Heats Up As Lulu Spies on Lois
In addition to the Nurses' Ball performances beginning, General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, May 21, 2025, include Lulu watching Lois's every move and Anna executing her plan. Now that Lulu (Alexa Havins) investigated Gio's past and found proof that Camilla wasn't pregnant when Gio (Giovanni Mazza) was born, Lulu is damn sure she has all the dots connected. And to her credit, she does, mostly. She knows Lois (Rena Sofer) is the key to getting complete 100% confirmation, so on the night of the Nurses' Ball, Lulu watches Lois's every move. What she is dead wrong about, however, is the fact that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has no knowledge of Gio being her biological child. Unfortunately, Lulu only thinks of Brook Lynn as a liar and can't believe that she would raise Gio in plain sight. And while Brook Lynn has lied to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) for decades(!), she hasn't lied about that. The Quartermaine princess has no idea that Gio is her son. This must all happen while the Nurses' Ball performances begin. So far, we've seen Anna (Finola Hughes), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Tracy (Jane Elliot), and Lucy (Lynn Herring) rehearse. Anna and Chase (Josh Swickard) are doing some sort of tango routine. Gio will be accompanying them on his violin. We even saw a flash of Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) getting his hip-hop dance on. And Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) will be up there on that NB stage as well. Plus, Donna (Scarlett Spears) is involved in a kids' number. Who will kick off the performances? And what surprises are in store? READ THIS: GH Feud? Laura Wright talks about her chemistry with Cynthia Watros While Anna executes her plan she cooked up during Tuesday's episode, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) has some choice words for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Yes, she is Michael's brother, but she doesn't need to get involved in this mess of a situation. But after she broke up the catfight between Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Carly (Laura Wright), her mom told her everything that was about to happen. READ THIS: GH's Eden McCoy offers advice about grief on State of Mind. This includes the impending divorce trial/custody hearing date, and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) being a bad mom for moving the kids in with Drew (Cameron Mathison). Plus, the fact that Carly will file for emergency custody, etc. So, how heated will things get between Joss and Willow? And you bet Kristina (Kate Mansi) is stunned. After all, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) just filled her in on the big secret that she knows Kristina tried to kill Ava (Maura West), but got Ric (Rick Hearst) instead. And that Ava and Ric know what she did, too. There's no other reaction she could have. Do you think this means she will stop antagonizing Ric, or will she double down on her anger at him and Ava? And now the question is: when will Molly (Kristen Vaganos) find out?

Dogs play positive role in enhancing exercise and mental wellbeing
Dogs play a crucial role in motivating us to move and the positive impact this has on our mental wellbeing, according to new research. Just under seven in 10 (69%) say their dog is their primary movement motivator, more than family, celebrities and personal trainers. And four in five (80%) of dog owners say they are less stressed and 84% feel happier after moving with their dog. Professor Brendon Stubbs of King's College London analysed State of Mind scores - an ASICS index measuring overall mental wellbeing - and found that dog owners' scores are on average 20% higher than non-dog owners (61/100 vs. 50/100), with 4 in 5 (81%) of owners saying moving with their dog improves their mental wellbeing. Video Loading The study also found that dog owners are 35% more likely to meet physical activity guidelines, averaging 240 minutes of exercise per week. In light of ASICS' research, the brand has today announced a new and unexpected ambassador signing – a dog called Felix. The brand is recognising the role of dogs, including one of the internet's favourite dogs 'Felix the Samoyed,' as the original exercise influencers. Felix has been signed as an Ambassador and will act as the brand's key 'spokesperson' to champion his love of walks, runs, and even zoomies. Stubbs, a leading researcher in exercise and mental health, said: 'ASICS' latest research reveals just how significantly dogs influence our physical activity levels and overall State of Mind. "The research shows dog owners are far more likely to meet recommended physical activity guidelines and have a much higher mood. In fact, 85% of dog owners feel a boost in their mood after moving with their dog.' To honour the extraordinary role that dogs play in motivating us to move for mental wellbeing, ASICS is calling on Brits to nominate their own dogs for the chance to become official ASICS Mind's Best Friend Ambassadors. Selected ambassadors will become ASICS' very own doggy influencers, sharing content with the world that showcases the power of a simple walk or run to uplift our mood. Each ambassador selected by the brand will receive an official ASICS Mind's Best Friend Ambassador kit, including branded gear and accessories and ASICS shoes for its human. Every post shared3 with #MindsBestFriend before 12 July 2025 will raise funds for mental health charities. Hayley Jarvis, Head of Physical Activity at Mind, said: 'At Mind, we have seen how regular physical activity can help support better mental health. However, finding the motivation to move can sometimes be challenging when you're struggling with your mental health. Who better to help motivate people to move than our canine friends? "Mind's belief in the power of physical activity and celebrating our doggy pals aligns perfectly with ASICS' commitment. We're proud to support this campaign and look forward to inspiring people to stay active and move for their mental wellbeing.' To support the Mind's Best Friend campaign, local Minds will be hosting local walk events, including Teesside Mind's Bark in the Park in Middlesbrough on Saturday 17th May. This fun event brings together hundreds of local dog owners and their families to raise awareness of mental health.
