Although his departure has not been officially confirmed by the Chilli Boys, the 42-year-old has already relocated back to Gauteng. His contract will not be renewed by Chippa, despite his good relationship with the club chairman, Siviwe 'Chippa' Mpengesi. United finished 11th in the Betway Premiership standings and narrowly missed out on a top eight spot by just two points. Is the dream over? This is not the ideal news for Kaizer Chiefs supporters who have been calling for Fawaaz Basadien. Another source told the same publication that Kaizer Chiefs have not entirely given up on Basadien and the Simba SC captain, Mohamed Hussein. 'They haven't given up on Fawaaz (Basadien) though it's believed that Sundowns have offered more money than Chiefs and Pirates. And there is Tanzanian international Mohamed Hussein. 'But since they haven't signed any of them yet they are keeping Happy Mashiane and it's also believed they can promote Kabelo Nkgwesa. That's the club's plan for now,' the source told the outlet.
