The stone on Eliza's ring is bordered by a halo setting, similar to the one seen in Diana's - a deep blue oval-cut sapphire surrounded by diamonds. The former prince and current king, Charles, 76, proposed to Diana in 1981 with a 12-carat oval Ceylon sapphire ring after six months of dating. But Princess Diana loved her engagement ring so much that she continued to wear it after her divorce from Charles in 1996.
