Prince Harry Is ‘So Disappointed' by Princess Diana's Sisters After He Was Accused of ‘Betraying' the Royal Family
The British royal family is living complicated days. King Charles is very ill with cancer, with rumors that succession planning is already underway. Prince William and Kate Middleton are already preparing for the next stage and taking on added responsibilities. And then there's Prince Harry's most recent BBC interview, where he suggested he was looking for a reconciliation with his father. His relationship with Prince William isn't any better. And on top of that, new intimate details about the family keep resurfacing. The latter is, perhaps, impossible to control. Being royalty is living in the spotlight, and that part is to be expected. But a new book Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors written by royal biographer Tom Bower is, perhaps, shedding more light on some of the royal dynamics than we're usually used to. And one of the things Bower discussed in his new book is the reaction of Princess Diana's sisters to Meghan Markle, which reportedly wasn't what Prince Harry expected. More from StyleCaster King Charles Sends Telling Sign He'll Never Reconcile With Harry Amid Reports His Son Is Making His Final Years a 'Misery' Queen Camilla Sends a Telling Message About Where She Stands With Harry & Meghan Amid Reports Charles 'Won't Speak' to Them Again Related: Did William really cheat on Kate? 'Harry assumed that Diana's family and friends would see a similarity between Diana and his fiancée. Both, he said, shared the same problems. He was so disappointed,' the book claims. Despite Harry being convinced that Princess Diana would be 'over the moon' at his choice of bride, her sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, reportedly did not agree. In fact, according to the book, they thought Meghan would not fit in. 'No one agreed that his vulnerable mother had anything in common with his girlfriend. More discomforting for him, they thought Meghan would not fit in with the Royal Family.' This did not discourage Prince Harry, who would go on to marry Meghan. The couple now shares two children. Harry would go on to discuss what he saw as his wife's similarities to his late mother in a 2022 Netflix documentary, saying, 'So much of what Meghan is and how she is, is so similar to my mum. She has the same compassion, the same empathy, the same confidence. She has this warmth about her.' Bower's words come at a difficult time, as there have been reports that Prince William would strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their titles as soon as he ascended to the throne. 'It's no secret William wants Harry more harshly dealt with. He thinks he has betrayed the family from top to bottom, which is the ultimate Windsor crime. It wouldn't take much to provoke him to flex his muscles when he is king,' a palace insider told The Daily Beast. As always with the royal family, that's not the end of the story. Recent reports have indicated Kate Middleton has been pushing for a reconciliation between the brothers and that King Charles might be ready to meet with his son, with whom he is currently not on speaking terms. All of this comes after Harry's interview, which reportedly angered the family, but in which he made clear he wants a reconciliation. Whether that's in the cards or not, and whether this family can stop being fractured anytime soon, remains to be seen. King Charles Sends Telling Sign He'll Never Reconcile With Harry Amid Reports His Son Is Making His Final Years a ‘Misery'
King Charles' speech has very peculiar timing. The Monarch just addressed Canada's parliament about threats to the country as his son Prince Harry visited China. Charles was invited by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to open Canada's Parliament. It's the first time a Monarch has done it since Queen Elizabeth's speech in 1977. He assured that Canada 'will invest to strengthen its presence in the north, which is an integral part of Canada, as this region faces new threats'. The two countries are doing military exercises in the area. During his Canada trip, Prince Harry jetted to China, where he addressed climate change in Shanghai. He was invited to a tourism conference in his capacity as the founder of Travalyst.'Climate change isn't just an environmental challenge it's a critical business emergency, costing the global economy $143 billion annually,' the Duke told attendees. Newly elected Mark Carney invited King Charles after rebuking Trump's threats of making Canada the 51st US state. According to the Associated Press, the King does not write his speeches in Parliament, and instead he reads what was put before him by Canada's government. He can also make some remarks of his own. King Charles serves as a nonpartisan head of state for the country. After losing his security appeal, the Duke of Sussex talked to the BBC about how he would like to talk to his father again. 'I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore.' 'Life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has,' he said about his father who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. 'He won't speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile.' He also added that his father should be open to reconciliation and help solve his security problem. 'There is a lot of control and ability in my father's hands,' he said. 'Ultimately, this whole thing could be resolved through him. Not necessarily by intervening, but by stepping aside, allowing the experts do what is necessary.' However, some people in his family might not be open to reconciling. A source told The Daily Beast: 'Charles might be happy to put up with this, but William won't. He loathes and despises Harry and Meghan with every bone in his body, he believes they have betrayed everything the family stands for and the idea that they are using their royal status as a calling card will enrage him.' On top of that, a friend of William's also shared with the outlet that 'Charles has completely lost control. It's apparent that Harry and Meghan have every intention of making his final years a misery, just as he feared they would. Meghan using her HRH exposes how weak and enfeebled he is. She knows he won't do anything. There is no way King William will stand for this. The titles will simply be removed when he is king. A way will be found.' Queen Camilla Sends a Telling Message About Where She Stands With Harry & Meghan Amid Reports Charles ‘Won't Speak' to Them Again
Queen Camilla may have shown a subtle sign of support for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid the former Duke of Sussex's feud with his father, King Charles. Camilla and her husband, King Charles, arrived in Canada on May 26 ahead of Charles' speech to the Canadian Parliament. The trip marked Charles and Camilla's first visit to Canada since he took the throne following his mother Queen Elizabeth's death. For the the flight, Camilla wore a pale pink coat-dress designed by Anna Valentine. She accessorized the look with Chanel shoes, a brooch, diamond and pearl earrings, and a gold pendant engraved with the initials of her grandchildren. More from StyleCaster Inside Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Secret Anniversary Weeks After She Addressed Divorce Rumors Prince William & Kate Middleton Welcome New Addition to Their Family After Reports of a '4th Child' As royal fans may remember, Camilla wore that same dress for Charles' son Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2018. Camilla's rewear came a week after the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, as fans speculate that Camilla's choice of clothing cold be a nod to the couple amid Harry's public feud with Charles. Harry and Charles' family feud made headlines in early May 2025 when Harry claimed in an interview with the BBC that his father 'won't speak' to him despite him wanting a 'reconciliation' with his family. Harry added that he didn't want to fight any longer as he did not know much longer' Charles—who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024—had left to live. Following Harry's interview, a source told Us Weekly that Harry's brother, Prince William, was 'done' with him for commenting about their father's cancer publicly. 'William doesn't talk about Harry anymore,' the insider said. 'Everyone knows it's a subject that they shouldn't bring up, so he hasn't brought up the interview and won't.' The source continued, 'William is done with Harry. When he becomes King, everybody thinks the divide will become even wider.' Could Camilla's rewear be a sign that she wants the royal feud to end? A source told RadarOnline in May 2025 that, while William isn't on speaking terms with Harry, other members of the British royal family—including William's wife, Kate Middleton—are more open to a reconcilation. 'Kate's deeply upset with Harry, but she's also frustrated that William and the rest of the family have allowed things to deteriorate this badly,' the insider said. 'It's heartbreaking for her to watch the family so publicly divided.' While Kate has sympathy for Harry, the source claimed that William doesn't support his wife—or any member of the British royal family—contacting Harry because of how their conversations could be 'twisted.' 'He's made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them,' the insider said. The source continued, 'William doesn't like having to put his foot down with Kate, but he sees this as necessary to protect everyone. What he's most worried about is that anything Kate says to Harry could be twisted or resurface later – especially if there's another book, or if Meghan decides to tell her own side of the story.' The report came as fans speculated that Kate was also trying to show her support of Harry by wearing the same yellow Philip Treacy hat she donned at Harry and Meghan's wdding to a garden party the same day as the Sussexes' wedding anniversary. Not Just Harry! Prince William Plans to Banish ‘Disgraced Uncle' from Royal Family Once He's King—He's ‘Toxic' to His ‘Brand'
Prince Harry isn't the only royal family member Prince William has an issue with. Apparently, the Prince of Wales also has a 'grudge' against his uncle, Prince Andrew, and things are so 'strained' that William wants Andrew out of the family when he becomes king. 'Prince William has long had a strained and distant relationship with Andrew,' British royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News in May 2025, adding that William has 'a grudge against his disgraced uncle.' More from StyleCaster Inside Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Secret Anniversary Weeks After She Addressed Divorce Rumors Prince William & Kate Middleton Welcome New Addition to Their Family After Reports of a '4th Child' Fordwich continued, 'Andrew's future within the royal family is beyond bleak, since Prince William is firmly opposed to any public rehabilitation with no foreseeable path back. He wants Andrew to vanish from public view.' William's negative opinion of Andrew comes after Virginia Giuffre claimed in 2014 that she was sex trafficked to the Duke of York when she was 17 years old by convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. After the allegations, Andrew resigned from his public roles with the royal family in May 2020, and had his honorary military affiliations and royal charitable patronages removed by his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in January 2022. He was also a defendant in a civil sexual assault lawsuit filed by Giuffre in New York State. The lawsuit was settled out of court in February 2022, and Andrew paid an undisclosed sum to Giuffre. Related: A full timeline of those Prince William and Rose Hanbury affair rumors According to Fordwish, one of William's first plans as king is to make sure that Andrew is 'completely excluded' from the royal family. '[William is] very in touch with the public,' Fordwich said. 'Every public opinion poll has Andrew at the bottom, reinforcing Prince William's stance. Once king, no doubt, Prince William will ensure Andrew is completely excluded from royal life, as well as all public appearances.' 'Prince William's role within the royal family is more prominent and influential than ever, as is his center stage position in diplomatic relations,' British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard added to Fox News. Chard continued, 'He recognizes the public animosity towards Andrew. He views him as a complete liability with his series of scandals, both past and present, shoveling shame on the family. His stance towards his uncle is tough. He will not entertain anyone toxic to the brand. Andrew will not be part of the streamlined monarchy.' Chard explained that Andrew's brother and William's father, King Charles, also feelings negatively toward Andrew, though he has more sympathy toward him because he's his brother. 'King Charles is said to be fed up with 'the Andrew problem,' although he has a softer approach to his brother as he is family,' Chard said. 'Prince William, however, has never been a fan of his uncle. He has no time for him. Allegedly, he was also disappointed that Andrew did not welcome his wife into the family with open arms all those years ago.' Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams also explained to Fox News that, while Charles 'may privately feel sympathy' toward Andrew, William 'has to be kept at arm's length' to ensure that he maintains his popularity when he becomes king. 'His best future is well behind him,' said Fitzwilliams. As for Andrew, Chard claimed that the Duke of York has been spending more time with his 'immediate family,' including daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, since he removed from his royal duties. 'I'm sure he's plotting how he can regain his royal status without the wrath of Prince William,' Chard said. 'He could start by honoring his promise to fight the evils of sex trafficking and supporting victims of sex trafficking.' Chard continued, 'Prince William's most important role is that of dad and husband. However, he is paving the way to be king sooner than anticipated. He is in tune with the public and the younger generation. He realizes that to justify the existence of the royal family, the heaviest burden will soon fall at his feet. This weight always rests on the king or queen.' William's feelings toward Andrew also come amid his public feud with his brother, Prince Harry, who has also fallen out with Charles. A source told Us Weekly in May 2025 that William is 'done' with Harry after his recent BBC interview in which he blamed their father for their lack of communication. 'William doesn't talk about Harry anymore,' the insider said. 'Everyone knows it's a subject that they shouldn't bring up, so he hasn't brought up the interview and won't.' The Truth to Claims Will Smith Testified Against Diddy After Shocking Willow Smith Rumors
The Diddy trial has been in the news the last few weeks, and a lot of the discussion has had to do with who is testifying in the trial and what information is coming out from that testimony. From revelations about Diddy's abuse of Cassie, to allegations that Diddy might have had something to do with blowing up Kid Cudi's car when he was dating Cassie, people have been glued to what's going on. And that lends itself to a lot of speculation and a lot of conspiracy theories about what's happened and what might be coming. One of those has to do with Will Smith and his daughter, Willow. Last year, when allegations against Diddy started mounting, there were rumors that Will Smith 'sold' his daughter Willow to Diddy, which has led people to question whether Smith would be testifying in Diddy's trial. More from StyleCaster Obama Just Got Roped into Diddy's Trial in Shocking Claim Justin Bieber Finally Addresses Rumors He Was 1 of Diddy's Victims: 'There Are Individuals...' Related: The rapper was arrested on September 16, 2024, in connection with sex trafficking charges, with details of his now-infamous 'freak off' parties and his assault of Cassie, which was caught on video, taking most of the attention. Diddy allegedly stockpiled more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube for parties that were 'elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded.' But does that have to do with Willow Smith? Did Will Smith testify in Diddy's trial about this rumored connection? The answer is no, Will Smith did not testify in Diddy's trial, and he is not set to take the stand. The Willow Smith rumors that surfaced last year have never been substantiated in any way, and Smith seemingly has no reason to testify in the trial. The rumor about his possible testimony comes from a YouTube video in the WhatIsYourStar worth channel, uploaded with the caption: '1 MINUTE AGO: Courtroom ERUPTS After Will Smith Reveals What Diddy Did to Him…' That wasn't all, the video's description read: 'In this video, we break down Will Smith's shocking courtroom appearance, the emotional details of his alleged experience, and what this could mean for the future of the trial. As more high-profile names come forward, the walls seem to be closing in around Diddy — fast.' On top of that, the video—which quickly amassed millions of views—featured an AI generated image of Smith supposedly on the stand, with Diddy looking on. However, the channel itself had a disclaimer about the contents, saying, 'This content is fictional and intended for entertainment purposes only. No verified court evidence or official statements confirm these claims.' Presumably, a lot of people didn't read until the end and just took the AI image and the allegations at the beginning at face value, particularly after the reports about Willow Smith from last year. Smith and Diddy have also been friends for years, though Smith has kept his distance ever since the allegations against the rapper first surfaced. And as it stands, Diddy's trial has already featured a lot of evidence against him, even without a possible Will Smith testimony.
