Despite the box office failure of Lal Salaam, this Rajinikanth-starrer directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth has managed to stay in conversations, not for the right reasons initially, but now, with a surprising turn of events, fans have something to look forward to. Nearly a year since its theatrical release, Lal Salaam is finally set to make its digital debut. The film, which was released in 2023 and failed to leave a mark in cinemas, is now arriving on OTT for Bakrid on June 6 on the Sun Nxt platform. Thiru, ostracised by his village, redeems himself by winning matches to fund a local temple festival. In Mumbai, he unknowingly saves Shamsuddin during a riot, mending their bond. When the true instigator, Raj, is exposed, harmony is restored as both communities unite to celebrate the Thiruvizha together.
