From Love Island to live sports, streaming on Peacock is getting a bit more expensive
Starting tomorrow, it's going to cost a few bucks more each month to stream Law & Order, The Office and yes, even Love Island. Peacock, NBC's streaming platform, is raising their prices for both monthly and annual plans. The price increase will go into effect officially on Wednesday, July 23. Here's a breakdown of the price increase, as well as everything you need to know about Peacock: How much will Peacock cost under the new pricing? The monthly ad-supported Peacock Premium subscription plan will now be $10.99/month (up from $7.99). The ad-free Premium Plus Plan will now be $16.99/month (up from $13.99). Annual plans are also impacted with Peacock Premium going from $79.99 to $109.99 per year. Premium Plus will soon cost $169.99, instead of $139.99. New subscribers on July 23 will pay the new prices, while existing customers can expect the price to increase on the first billing cycle after July 23, depending on the date of your renewal. Social media reacts to Steelers throwback uniform announcement
On Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers unveiled their throwback uniform for the 2025 season. The Steelers went with a serious throwback design honoring the 1933 season, complete with the city crest, matte yellow helmets, and block numbers. For us, these new uniforms are great. Perhaps not as iconic as the classic bumblebees or as sharp as the Color Rush, but the uniform truly epitomizes what the Steelers represent and the city. But not everyone agrees with this assessment. Social media reaction was very much mixed. So, fans loved the classic look and respected the nostalgia, while the look completely turned others off and clearly were hoping for something different. We dug into X and decided to share some of our favorite posts related to the throwbacks. The Steelers will wear the uniforms on October 26 when the Steelers take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.

Houston Texans 2025 Schedule
Football season is right around the corner. The Houston Texans are set to begin training camp practices starting this Wednesday, with the chance to claim a third AFC South division title under Pro Bowl quarterback C.J. Stroud. The team has three preseason games scheduled for next month. After preseason, Houston will trim its roster down to 53 players by Aug. 26. Following preseason, the Texans will kick off the regular season at SoFi Stadium against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Sept. 7. After reaching the NFL playoffs with back-to-back double-digit win seasons with Stroud, the Texans will be in the spotlight more often this season. Houston has four nationally-televised games this year, including two Monday Night Football games and a rematch of the AFC Divisional Round on Sunday Night Football in December. No bumblebees here: Steelers' new alternate uniforms honor 1933 Pittsburgh Pirates
The Pittsburgh Steelers are going retro. On their throwbacks. On occasion. Monday morning, the team revealed its new − or old, depending on your perspective − throwback uniform, which is a nod to the Steelers' inaugural team in 1933, when they were known as the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Steelers last sported a version of this look in 1994, when the NFL celebrated its 75th season and teams throughout the league delved into a throwback experience that became common in later years. Pittsburgh will break out the new/old uniform on October 26, a "Sunday Night Football" date at Acrisure Stadium with the Green Bay Packers. If the Steelers are fortunate, new quarterback Aaron Rodgers will also recapture his own throwback form as he attempts to defeat his original team and become only the fifth quarterback in league history to notch a win against all 32 of its teams. Aaron Rodgers and Steelers to wear 1933-style throwback uniform vs. Packers in Week 8
The Pittsburgh Steelers will debut new throwback uniforms when they host the Green Bay Packers in primetime in October this season. The Steelers unveiled the throwback uniform, inspired by the team's 1933 uniforms, on Monday. The look features yellow helmets, yellow uniforms with black striping, beige pants and yellow socks. The helmets include the Steelers logo on the side, and the uniforms have a City of Pittsburgh crest on the left shoulder. The Packers face off with Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers on Oct. 26 at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh for Week 8's "Sunday Night Football" showdown. Per the Steelers, the throwbacks "define grit, resilience and the soul of the Steel City football." From Steelers president Art Rooney II: "We're excited to unveil our new throwback uniforms which not only pay tribute to the origins of the Steelers franchise but also to the deep connection we have to our hometown of Pittsburgh. It's especially fitting that we'll debut these uniforms on Sunday night, October 26 when we play the Green Bay Packers – another franchise in the league with a long and rich history." On one hand, the throwback uniforms will add some old-time spice to the first ever matchup between Rodgers and the Packers. On the other hand, the throwbacks will rob viewers of a near-perfect traditional uniform matchup between the Steelers and Packers. The Packers are expected to reveal a new throwback helmet and/or uniform for the 2025 regular season early on in training camp.
