Amy Childs' wedding chaos from last-minute change to 'overwhelming pressure'
Amy Childs and Billy Delbosq have 'called off' their wedding as the reality star is said to be 'gutted' over the last-minute changes that mean cameras won't follow their journey down the aisle Amy Childs has dramatically called off her wedding to fiancé Billy Delbosq after a number of setbacks left her feeling "overwhelmed" and under intense pressure, according to reports. The TOWIE star, 34, had been planning a lavish big day for later this year - with cameras set to follow the build-up for a new show - but those plans have now reportedly been scrapped. "Amy's gutted," a source told Closer. "Everything was heading towards a September wedding, but real life got in the way - it's all been too much." Amy and Billy, 42, who share two-year-old twins Amelia and Billy, got engaged in April 2023 in a sweet family moment that saw Billy dress their newborns in matching suits, reading "Mummy, will you marry my Daddy?" The couple, who got together during lockdown, had even started dress shopping and discussing venues. But in recent weeks, the wedding has been thrown into chaos - and now, completely 'cancelled' Back in February, Amy was full of excitement, saying she had the "wedding body" and was eyeing up a September or October date. But by April, she admitted the pressure was getting to her: "I still don't know if it will be this year... I feel overwhelmed!" "One week we're talking about it non-stop, the next we don't mention it at all," she said. Things took a darker turn earlier this month when Amy and Billy's £1.7million Essex home was targeted in an attempted break-in, leaving the couple shaken. Days later, Amy's mum, Julie, suffered a heart attack and needed emergency surgery - something Amy said "tipped our world upside down." In April she took to Instagram and said her mother, 59, collapsed from the health scare leaving her terrified. Amy revealed at the time that Julie was "doing ok" but needed rest and was in hospital waiting for a stent to be fitted. "With everything that's gone on - the break-in, her mum nearly dying - Amy's decided it's just not the right time," the source added. "She and Billy are still together, but the wedding is off. It's all just become too stressful." Back in 2023, Amy admitted to questioning her relationship after confessing she wasn't sure that Billy still wanted to marry her. "Since he proposed, he hasn't mentioned it once," she told The Sun. "I actually asked him the other day if he still wanted to marry me!" "There are no plans for a wedding at the moment," she admitted at the time. "I don't feel like I could even plan it right now. We don't need to get married to prove anything." Amy also shares daughter Polly, eight, with builder Bradley Wright, and Ritchie, five, with her ex of the same name.

A heart attack can lead to a complete blockage of blood flow to the heart, and a stent is a medical device used to open that blockage and restore blood flow. Alongside a picture of Julie beaming while holding her twins, Amy penned: 'We had very worrying news last Friday. My mum had a heart attack Friday evening. Meet The Rumoured Line Up For Love Island 2025
It's timeee! If I say 9pm everyday (apart from Saturdays!)… you say? LOVE ISLAND BABY! The time has come where we gather as a nation, 9pm sharp all singing from the same hymn sheet *hums to the Love Island theme tune*, let's go! Season 12 of Love Island is on the horizon and is starting any… MONDAY… now (we say Monday 9th June). We're all about to have a new set of hotties to follow on IG as the next Love Island cast enter the villa. Where is the villa this time? We don't know where in Spain exactly, but it's certainly won't be in the Isle of Wight as host Maya Jama revealed in ITV's latest teaser skit, which got us all pumped! Promising for more twists and more drama, this season marks the shows 10-year anniversary so we're expecting big things. Maya and her glam squad are ready after she posted on her IG story a total of six suitcases and three bags with the caption 'On holiday until I start Love Island'. Whilst Maya warms things up, who will be joining her in sunny Spain? Here's the latest on the first few rumoured contestants. Marking a first for the programme (if the rumours are true), Michelle Roscoe will be the first transgender contestant in the show's history. Currently working as a recruitment officer in Ibiza, Michelle can quite literally pop to the villa. So, let's not waste any time. Word on the street is that the ITV big bosses are working on it, so watch this space, we'll let you know as soon as we do. Can Ella Rae Wise go from one reality show to another… to another. Of course she can! Quick get her in before she has time to unpack her suitcase. Now we know ITV isn't shy of chucking a TOWIE star in the mix after the riveting arrival of Joey Essex in season 11. So if the rumours that Ella Rae Wise, semi-fresh from the CBB house may be on her way to sunny Mallorca as we speak, we'll take it. But what we don't want is Chris Hughes doing a sudden a 180 and appearance too – or maybe we do? You may or may not remember him, but Kodie Murphy was on season 11 of Love Island in 2023. Briefly coupled up with Amber Wise, the 22 year old may be back for another ride this year. This comes after he teased via TikTok that Love Island have been on the phone. And you know what - we hope they have. It wouldn't be a rumoured LI lineup without a cheeky celeb relation would it? Whispers are floating around saying that the eldest of Tanya and Phil Bardsley's children, Gabriella, will be the nepo baby of the villa this year. As the daughter of a Housewife of Chesire and a footballer, Gabriella will be no stranger to the spotlight having also already being part of her families reality show, The Bardsley Bunch . She's also a business woman, running Dream Skin where she offers skin treatments in Manchester. Practically a star already, let's get her in. Oh we're treating you now… we've got bombshell goss. Season 12's very first bombshell is rumoured to be Liverpudlian makeup artist, Lucy Quinn. A source told the MailOnline that Lucy is 'single and ready to mingle' and 'can't wait to enter the Love Island villa'… need we say anymore. See you on the telly Luce! According to The Sun, 6'5 London-based personal trainer, Aaron Buckett is a definite cast member landing in the Love Island villa this year. Take a look at his Instagram, and the flurry of topless pictures are making us want to believe it too - phwoar. It seems the fire pit won't be the only thing making things hot this season. Afia Kufuor has worked for Bauer Media since January 2025. She writes for Grazia, heat, Closer, Bella and Yours.
