How we choose the best Memorial Day deals Our team of expert shoppers and deal-hunters has years of experience helping buyers understand which major sales and deals are legitimately good and which are more routine. That includes Black Friday, Prime Day, Memorial Day and countless other shopping events. We've gotten good at weeding out scams and superficial deals so you see only the best offers from retailers. This includes the deals above from Best Buy. We look for real discounts, quality reviews and remaining sale time when choosing a deal to show you. We look at price history to be sure prices aren't inflated to make a discount seem more substantial than it is. We choose products that we have tested or have top reviews because if an item breaks the first time you use it, the discount isn't worth it. Remaining sale time is a huge part of our vetting process. If a deal seems like it will only be around for a short while or will only be available for the remaining stock, we'll let you know upfront so you don't come back to the deal later only to be disappointed.

This deal changes things — our second favorite TV is $1,200 off

For a brand that's been losing recognition for quite some time, there's been a lot going on in the land of Panasonic lately. First, after careful review, we've selected the Panasonic Z95A as the runner-up in our best TVs right now, beating out brands like LG and Samsung, and only bested by a Sony TV. Then, there's the deals. We just saw 66% off their mini-LED TV and then, earlier this month, we saw the 65-inch Z95A at $2,500 (a $700 discount). And now we get to the present, where we see that the 65-inch Z95A has dropped even lower. While this deal lasts, through either of the buttons below, you can get this TV for just $2,000. That's $1,200 off its normal price of $3,200. Is that enough to make it best the Sony A95L QD-OLED? Bargain hunters will certainly think so, so be sure to pick the TV up at this price before it rises or, worse, stock runs out. Why you should buy the Panasonic Z95A When our review team made its Panasonic Z95A review in December of last year, we called it 'one of the top 5 TVs ever made.' We then talked at length about the one thing that might scare you away from this TV — it's an Amazon Fire TV — and gave step-by-step (and simple!) instructions for disabling Amazon's annoying ads. And then the rest is magic, featuring things you don't expect in a TV review. For example, there's a not-for-laughs 'Superior sound' section that doesn't end with a note telling you to buy one of the best soundbars anyhow, because it already has a built-in one that's going to beat all but the most premium gear. Yet, this isn't why we declares it a top five all time TV, instead that's 'from a strict evaluation of picture accuracy.' In other words, this is a TV with a lot going for it. The Panasonic Z95A is clearly in a fight for supremacy in TV sales, and this updated deal making the 65-inch Z95A just $2,000 goes to show you how far they are willing to go to take the crown. It's a $1,200 discount off of a $3,200 TV, and a discount that is $500 greater than what we saw at just the beginning of this month. If you want to take advantage of it, all you need to do is tap one of the buttons below. There are other TV deals going on at the moment, but few as exciting as this one.

Samsung Gives Away Free Galaxy S25 With Unexpected New Code

After giving away free subscriptions, and a free tablet to Galaxy S25 Ultra buyers, Samsung is now bundling the Galaxy S25 with select TV purchases. Predictably, shoppers need to buy a reasonably expensive TV to qualify for the free Galaxy S25 (just the base model, not the Plus or Ultra). On the U.K. deal page, Samsung is pushing buyers towards TVs that cost thousands, but it's possible to qualify for the free phone by purchasing a TV for as low as £1,199 ($1,623.93). The £1,199 set is the 43' Neo QLED QN93F. The next cheapest model that comes with a free handset is the £1,349 ($1,827.09) 85' U8000F, after that it's the 55' Neo QLED QN85F for £1,499 ($2,030.25). To get the free Samsung Galaxy S25 shoppers have to use the code 'AITV.' Samsung has combined this code with a 'SPRING' voucher that knocks 20% off the the TV, alongside up to £1000 ($1,354.40) cashback. The NEO QLED QN85F, for example, qualifies for £200 ($270.88) of cashback. There's a lengthy, awkward, process to get your money back, which includes submitting a claim and waiting for approval. This could take up to 45 days for the money to eventually reach your account. Rather than directly discounting the TV by £200, Samsung is likely hoping that some people will be put off by the rigmarole of going through the claims process. But it is absolutely worth taking the time to do. For more savvy shoppers, a new and unopened Galaxy S25 can be sold on eBay for roughly £600 ($812.64). Combined with the 20% off SPRING code and £200 cashback, the QN85F's price effectively drops down to £549 ($743.57). A solid price for a yet-to-be-released 2025 TV. Samsung has made a habit of giving away free hardware in recent promotions. The company has bundled a free Chromebook, earbuds and Galaxy Watches with Galaxy phone purchases in the last year. The latest deal bundles a free Galaxy Tab A9 Plus with purchases of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, alongside knocking 20% off wearables if bought together. Free high-end hardware obviously grabs shoppers' attention. Samsung's aim is partly to draw as many individuals as it can into the Galaxy ecosystem." The clue is in the discount code's name 'AITV.' The Korean company has imbued AI into almost all of its devices, including its cheaper smartphones through it's 'awesome intelligence' suite of tools that offers a pared down experience compared to the mainstream Galaxy AI. This strategy might pay off because Samsung has always been unclear about its Galaxy AI pricing plans. When the company launched its AI tools with the Galaxy S24 last year, it stated that Galaxy AI would be free until the end of 2025. The company has remained silent on its subscription plans since. What Samsung has done is roll out AI to old Galaxy phones, TVs, wearables, Chromebooks, TVs, ovens and other home appliances. If the company does launch a subscription one day that paywalls important features on several devices, these hardware freebies will be a small price to pay for tying millions of people to a monthly charge.
