India's first driverless bus: IT Hyderabad achieves massive feat, 10,000 passengers experience AI-powered bus, 90 percent people say...

New Delhi: Remember the Ajay Devgn-starrer Tarzan: The Wonder Car, where the car drove without a driver? Now, this is no longer limited to movies. In real life too, such technology has been developed via which a vehicle can be operated without driver. IIT Hyderabad, with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), has come up with a technology. Not only that, they have even built a driverless bus to test this technology, and the trial has already been conducted. The Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation (TiHAN) at IIT Hyderabad has developed driverless technology powered by AI, according to a Mint report. With the help of this software, a bus can transport students and faculty members within the campus from one place to another without a driver. It is important to note that this technology is currently limited to the IIT Hyderabad campus. However, the technology is likely to be introduced in transportation sector soon. Officials associated with the project believe that driverless technology will help in reducing road accidents and fatalities. Here are some of the key details: The Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation (TiHAN) at IIT Hyderabad has developed driverless technology powered by AI With the help of this software, a bus can transport students and faculty members within the campus from one place to another without a driver. TiHAN officials say that the driverless bus is currently not being operated on public roads. So far, the bus has transported more than 10,000 passengers Around 90 percent of the passengers have given positive feedback about the trip. The bus is equipped with various sensors that help it understand its surroundings. This system can work for both electric and fuel-powered vehicles. With the help of AI, it can detect surrounding traffic and vehicle movement, and then proceed accordingly. The driverless bus has been successful in its trial, with other educational institutions and the Telangana government also showing interest in it. They believe it can be used at airports, large college campuses, or industrial areas where there is not much traffic. It is possible that in the future, such vehicles or buses may pass by you, and this could become normal for you.

Meet actor who became popular despite a flop debut, never delivered a hit in his career, wife and sister in law are famous actresses, his name is...

Not every Bollywood debut rides on a blockbuster. For Vatsal Sheth, the film that made him a household name was a surprise; it tanked at the box office but shot him to fame. Born and raised in Mumbai, Vatsal first faced the camera as a teenager in Just Mohabbat (1996), a TV show that ran until 2000. But acting was never the plan — he had his sights set on becoming a software engineer. So, how did he end up in acting? In an interview, Vatsal recalled how a friend's mother casually suggested he audition for a TV role. That advice became the pivot point of his life. Soon after, Just Mohabbat gave him visibility, and in 2004, he debuted in Bollywood with Tarzan: The Wonder Car opposite Ayesha Takia, playing Ajay Devgn's on-screen son. The film saw him as Raj Chaudhary, a young man emotionally attached to a special car. Viewers loved his chemistry with Ayesha, and overnight, Vatsal was a star — despite the film's commercial failure. Career beyond the big screen Post-Tarzan, his films like Nanhe Jaisalmer, Heroes, and Paying Guests failed to make a mark. Vatsal shifted back to television, earning acclaim for Ek Hasina Thi and Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar. In 2023, he made a cinematic return in Adipurush, playing Indrajit, drawing fresh attention. A love story from the sets While shooting Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar, he met actress Ishita Dutta. Their friendship sparked after a small on-set incident, Ishita's saree got stuck in a table fan, and Vatsal helped untangle it. From there, the bond grew into love. On 28 November 2017, they married quietly at ISKCON Temple, Mumbai, in the presence of close friends, including Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Tanushree Dutta, and Tanishaa Mukerji. Family life and new beginnings In 2023, the couple welcomed their son, Vayu. Two years later, in 2025, their daughter, Veda, was born. Social media often features the family's candid moments. Interestingly, Ishita is the younger sister of Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress Tanushree Dutta — and she once played Ajay Devgn's on-screen daughter in Drishyam.
