Emmerdale legend released from prison as a shock decision is made

Joe Tate's (Ned Porteous) meddling has caused a feud to form between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Sam Dingle (James Hooton) in Emmerdale. Joe was put in charge of Kim Tate's (Claire King) grand plan a few days ago. As she left for Dubai, Joe decided to focus on getting Butlers Farm from Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb). He pounced on his prey after learning that Moira had received more bad news from the water company. Due to Moira being in a vulnerable position when Joe put forward the idea of her selling, it meant she was very tempted. Moira changed her mind on signing the contract when she discovered Joe had paid Noel from the water company to deliberately reject her appeal. She then faced a nightmare when two teens broke into a barn, and immediately thought that Joe was responsible for organising it. At Home Farm, Joe told Moira that his plans, as ruthless as they are, never involve putting children in danger. Moira didn't believe him and went to punch Joe, but poor Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) got in the way. Moira was arrested and taken to the station in this evening's episode and while this was happening, Cain was on the warpath. He found Lydia and told her to lie to the police if she got questioned about Moira hitting her. Lydia was unsure about this, but Cain threatened her and said she didn't have a choice. While Cain was playing bad cop, Joe took a different approach. He spoke to Lydia and Sam and said that he likes them both, and said Moira shouldn't get away with an act of violence. More Trending Moira ended up getting released from prison due to the complaint getting dropped. Unfortunately though, that wasn't the end of the matter. Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) is more determined than ever to get the land for Kim Tate (Claire King). Joe has a vested interest in getting Kim as much money as possible following the ordeal with Doctor Crowley. The struck off doc, who violently threatened Joe into paying him £100k, turned up as Kim Tate's new boyfriend Eddie and made it clear to Joe he's only in it for Kim's cash. After betraying her, Joe is now working hard to prove to Kim that he can be trusted. He confesses to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) that he has a plan to get the land while Moira tries to hang onto it by the fingernails. Desperate to maintain her livelihood, she tempts fate by telling her sons their home is safe. But Kyle knows better and heads off to protect his family's home. As he surveys the property, he is confronted by two masked teenagers who he disturbs in a barn. Acting on instinct, Kyle grabs a pitchfork and stabs one in the leg. The teens scarper when Moira appears and scares them off. Cain (Jeff Hordley) immediately blames Joe, but he denies any knowledge. Moira takes it to the police, but Swirling says there's not much that can be done. The battle lines are drawn, and Joe retaliates with his own call to the police, resulting in Moira's arrest. She's quickly told things do not look good. More Trending At a time like this what the Dingles need is to club together. What they don't need is one of their own working for the enemy. Emmerdale set for 'explosive' scenes as twisted feuds spark danger and betrayal

Emmerdale fans will witness three key families on the show facing being torn apart by dark rivalries, feuds and deceit, both within the families and with each other There's bound to be hectic, drama-filled and some potentially devastating scenes on Emmerdale in the coming weeks. ‌ Three big families on the show are all at war with each other, and two of those families have feuds rumbling between relatives too. It's nothing new seeing loved ones clash, betrayals spark horror and relationships tested. ‌ But in upcoming scenes there's somewhat of a battle triangle going on. Arguably three of soap's most well known families, the Tates, the Dingles and the Sugdens, are about to feature in an almighty clash. ‌ Tate duo Kim and Joe might have the last laugh though, as it's the other two clans who are at war within their families as well as with other village households. It's certainly a messy time ahead, but how far will they all go? We can guarantee eventful episodes ahead with tense scenes, probably some humour too while things may even take a dark turn. After all, one resident is causing "mayhem" with more than one villain, while one couple face losing everything if another duo get their own way. ‌ Our soap source teased: "The Dingles, Sugdens and the Tates are three iconic soap families. To be against each other is one thing and will lead to explosive scenes - but for those within the clans to be at war too could lead to all kinds of upset. "They may band together when times get tough, but they're also quick to turn on one another if they need to. Family code is quickly thrown out of the window where ultimatums and betrayals are concerned." Robert Sugden in particular could have a tough battle on his hands after his vow to cause carnage recently. Our insider explained: "Robert may need to watch his back. He's crossed both his killer brother John Sugden and iconic village 'villain' Kim Tate. Robert has proven time and time again he's not one to be messed with though, so it's anyone's guess how this latest backstabbing will turn out. ‌ "Robert could find himself the unlucky next victim of John, as he continues desperately in his attempt to expose his brother's dark lies unaware of just who he's messing with. As for Kim, she's got the unpredictable and rather villainous Joe Tate on her side, so perhaps Robert should watch out before creating an enemy of them." It seems the Tates, for now, could finally have each other's backs with them busy targeting other families. "Kim and Joe have become this dynamic duo, and while they do question each other's loyalties every now and again, they often get a plan in motion and are determined to see it through," our soap expert said. "With Moira Dingle their next target, it's not long before the two families are at war. ‌ "But it sets off a chain of events that cause an implosion of sorts amid the Dingle clan, and some rather close siblings are suddenly locked in a feud. Loyalties are tested, ultimatums are issued and someone gets arrested." Fans will be used to seeing the Dingles rowing, but might things be irreversible this time? Our soap insider went on: "We've seen the Dingles fall out before, it's nothing new. Their claims of sticking together seem to be selective. But this time, with Sam and wife Lydia possibly choosing the Tates, a known Dingle enemy, over their own family, it could lead to their most explosive family feud yet. "We know Cain finds it difficult to forgive and forget, and he and Sam can be as stubborn as each other. But if Sam and Lydia form an alliance with Kim despite her and Joe's plans to get Moira's farm, risking her livelihood and her home, we can't imagine Cain letting his go so easily." It's not just the Dingles turning on each other though, with Victoria Sugden caught in the middle of her brothers John and Robert. Our insider said: "The Sugdens are at war with each other, well Robert and John are. Robert's also risking war with the Tates, who are locked in for battle with the Dingles. So adding the Dingle's feuding with each other into the mix, and we've got ourselves some no doubt fiery, tense and high drama scenes on the way in the coming weeks and months." James Hillier's character last appeared on the ITV soap on March 31. Joe Tate hired the shady doctor to treat him and secure him a kidney transplant after being diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. Joe and Dr Crowley spiked Joe's half-brother, Noah Dingle, but he proved not to be a match. Joe's paternal half-uncle, Caleb Miligan, was later found to be a match, so Joe took his kidney after Caleb was stabbed. The Longest-Running UK Soaps Dr Crowley transplanted it into Joe before fleeing the country, with it later revealed that he may have told Joe a fake name. At the time of the storyline, Emmerdale viewers were full of theories surrounding the dodgy doctor. A post was made on the r/Emmerdale Reddit page, one fan said: "I just find Dr Crowley such a weird addition to the show and Joe's storyline. "Something is telling me that either he isn't really a doctor, or he has ties to the Tates. "Why would he help Joe and go to so much length and secrecy to do so? How comes only Joe has seen him, and no one's seen him sneaking into home farm?" They also questioned why the relationship between Joe and Crowley appeared to be "a bit closer than doctor and patient". Another said: "He's probably just some dodgy private doctor willing to go to lengths as Joe is willing to pay." However, others questioned whether he was a real doctor at all. Teasing the situation to The Sun, actor Ned Porteous, who plays Joe, spoke about the moment his character wakes up to see the doctor looking on. He said: "[Joe's] very confused, very scared. A very powerless situation for Joe to be in." On working with James again, he added: "He's a really, really lovely guy. Recommended reading: "I enjoy working with him, and the character that he built is fun, it's got more dimensions than just a helper, and it serves as a very interesting character going forward.
