Revanth is a country chicken… KTR is a broiler chicken, says Jagga Reddy
Hyderabad: Telangana PCC working president T Jagga Reddy on Saturday described Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as a 'country chicken' and BRS leader KTR as a 'broiler chicken'. At a press conference in Gandhi Bhavan, he addressed Rao saying: 'KTR, you don't have the stature to question Revanth's manliness' Reddy advised KTR: 'Don't provoke Revanth unnecessarily. If you throw away security and challenge him with 'Ra Ra Sale' (come fight me), can you actually handle it? You don't have the guts. If Revanth suddenly shows up, you might get a heart attack, be careful. You once sent police into Revanth's bedroom, but now, Revanth isn't sending police into your house. That's the difference between us and you.' He further said: 'Under Rahul Gandhi's leadership, Revanth as CM and his ministers are implementing public welfare schemes magnificently. Schemes that you didn't implement in ten years—we are implementing in just 18 months. Ready for a debate?'. Reddy listed the schemes under CM- free bus travel for women; ration cards, fine rice, and bonuses for fine grain; Indiramma houses; 200 units of free electricity. Reddy challenged KTR : 'Let's debate in Siddipet, Sircilla and Gajwel. Are you ready?', while observing: 'no matter how many insults we hurl at your 10-year rule, it's not wrong. For the atrocities committed by KCR's family on Mallannasagar farmers, mere abuses aren't enough. Their bodies should be buried in the ground, heads above, and snakes released on them, only then they'll feel the hell they created.' He further said: 'KTR, you can't fight with police when you're in Opposition. You only use the police when you're in power. We stood against the police even when we were in Opposition. That's our manliness. Compared to our manliness, what is yours? don't provoke Revanth unnecessarily. It has been 18 months since Revanth Reddy became CM. We have many reasons to criticise KCR's family. They didn't fulfill the promises made in 10 years, hence the criticism. They promised Rs 1 lakh loan waivers, but only paid 4 instalments; interest has piled up; they didn't give reservations to minorities – that's why they're criticised; promised jobs for every household, but failed to deliver; promised double-bedroom homes never delivered'. According to Reddy, KTR is burning with jealousy. 'Let's hold a discussion with women in Sircilla; why this barrage of insults, KTR? what mistake did Revanth Reddy make to deserve your curses? He asked 'Ready to debate about free bus rides? CM and minister Ponnam will convince you; are we not giving cooking gas at Rs 500?; are we not giving 200 units of free electricity? we started Indiramma housing; ministers will come let's discuss'. The senior Congress leaders quipped: 'KCR's rule was like a bad movie – 'Aha Naa Pellanta' style. We increased Aarogyasri coverage to Rs 10 lakh. Come, let's talk; what happened to women's groups over the past 10 years? Seethakka will come to discuss. Come; fine rice is reaching every village – Uttam Kumar Reddy will come to debate. You come too; we are building integrated schools with Rs 200 crore; did KCR ever even think of such things?' He remarked: 'While CM Revanth is doing so many good things, KTR is abusing him and the ministers? If we start insulting, it won't help anyone. Whoever is writing KTR's scripts is doing a poor job; looking at KTR evokes pity'.

Balu Naik misses out despite ST quota hopes
Devarakonda (Nalgonda): Cabinet expansion in Telangana has sparked unrest within the Congress party, particularly disappointing senior leader and Devarakonda MLA Balu Naik. Despite being seen as a strong contender for a ministerial berth under the Scheduled Tribe (ST) quota, Naik was left out of the cabinet reshuffle, triggering dissatisfaction among his loyal supporters and within tribal political circles. Adding to the frustration, the Deputy Speaker post—seen as a possible consolation—was also awarded to another ST leader, Dornakal MLA Ramachandra Naik. This unexpected move has further deepened the discontent surrounding Balu Naik's exclusion, especially given his seniority and the expectations that had been built in the lead-up to the cabinet reshuffle. The political equations within the Nalgonda district played a crucial role in the decision. With two Reddy community leaders—Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy—already occupying ministerial positions, party strategists were cautious about adding more ministers from the same district. While this was seen as an opportunity to accommodate Balu Naik and strengthen tribal representation, the party instead chose to maintain what it perceives as a social and regional balance. The decision has not gone down well with Naik's supporters, who feel side-lined despite their consistent loyalty to the Congress. Discontent is quietly brewing, with party leadership walking a tightrope to contain the dissatisfaction. Telangana PCC chief Mahesh Goud and party in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan are reportedly engaging with unhappy leaders in a bid to pacify tensions and prevent any ripple effects within the party's organizational structure. The cabinet reshuffle has highlighted a deeper narrative of political compromise—where social justice and regional power dynamics collide. Analysts point out that while the Congress aimed to appease multiple factions, it may have inadvertently alienated key communities by overlooking leaders like Balu Naik, who enjoy strong grassroots support. At present, Naik has maintained silence, but party insiders suggest he is deeply disappointed. It is unclear whether he will be offered another significant party post or advisory role as compensation. For now, the spotlight remains on how the Congress leadership plans to manage the growing dissatisfaction within its ranks—and whether Balu Naik will find his due recognition in the future.

Modi bowed to Trump, but Indira made Pak bow by confronting US: Jagga Reddy
Hyderabad: Telangana PCC working president T Jagga Reddy claimed here on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi bowed to US President Donald Trump. This was in contrast to ex-prime minister Indira Gandhi, who made Pakistan bow by confronting the US, he said at a press conference in Gandhi Bhavan. Reddy pointed out that terrorists infiltrated from Pakistan into Kashmir and killed 26 people, yet the BJP government showed no response. 'You made mistakes; why blame Rahul Gandhi? Kishan Reddy and Sanjay must answer for their failures, otherwise, we will retaliate', he warned. According to Reddy, Rahul Gandhi, as the Opposition leader, demanded a parliamentary session and answers for people. 'Was that a crime? You compromised because of Trump, but you blame Rahul Gandhi's family? You are the ones doing politics using Pakistan, it was Modi who secretly visited the Pakistani PM's house. BJP ministers answer this. Rahul Gandhi never visited Pakistan. Modi, however, skipped Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday, went to Pakistan, fed cake to Nawaz Sharif, and gave clothes to his mother,' the Congress leader said. The TPCC leader wanted the BJP to apologise for spreading false propaganda against Rahul Gandhi as baseless allegations were being made against him. He claimed that the BJP government was in shock. 'Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay are attacking Rahul Gandhi. Instead of answering Rahul Gandhi's questions, Modi is criticising him. The Intelligence department must answer how terrorists entered Kashmir and killed 26 people in a park. Kishan Reddy and Sanjay must answer why has Modi still not addressed the nation? While in a state of slumber, you're criticising Rahul Gandhi and diverting politics. You made mistakes—why blame the opposition leader? You speak ignorantly despite having knowledge,' he said. Reddy said while a war seemed imminent, people believed Modi would defeat Pakistan; suddenly news broke that the war was stopped. Everyone expected a statement from Modi, but instead, Trump made the announcement. 'Rahul Gandhi said, 'Go ahead with the war, we will stand behind you'. But it was Trump who announced that he stopped the India-Pakistan war. Isn't it shameful that Trump announced the ceasefire instead of Modi? You compromised, and yet you blame our leader,' he thundered. 'As soon as Trump made that announcement, Indira Gandhi's legacy started trending on social media. People opposed Modi bowing to Trump's words. During Indira Gandhi's time, even when America tried to interfere, she boldly stated that no interference was needed,' he said. He claimed that Modi skipped Vajpayee's birthday to go to Pakistan. 'Didn't he go to Nawaz Sharif's house and touch his mother's feet? You must answer this. Is it appropriate to go to Pakistan secretly on Vajpayee's birthday? Kishan Reddy and Sanjay must answer, then talk about Rahul Gandhi. Where do you hide your face for Modi's mistakes? Indira Gandhi was compared to Goddess Durga in Parliament. Modi abrogated Article 370… then why is terrorism back? A PM who cursed Pakistan three times, yet didn't even identify the person who killed 26 people. Don't you feel ashamed, Kishan Reddy', he asked. Jagga Reddy asserted that BJP leaders in Telangana have heads but no brains, and that they are full of conspiracies and deceit.

BJP leaders need ‘Aditya 369' to understand history, says Jagga Reddy
Hyderabad: Telangana PCC working president T Jagga Reddy on Friday asserted that the BJP leaders don't know history and that's the reason why they are saying bad things about Gandhi family. 'Rahul Gandhi is the embodiment of honesty, love and sacrifice,' the Congress leader said. At a press conference in Gandhi Bhavan, he said, 'The Congress was founded in 1885 while the BJP came into existence in 1980. There's a 100-year difference in the histories of the Congress and BJP. The BJP is only 45 years old—Congress is like a great-grandfather to BJP. Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Indira Gandhi—all were born before independence. Modi, Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay and Raghunandan Rao were born only after independence,' he pointed out. Reddy wanted Raghunandan Rao to learn history before speaking about Rahul Gandhi. Do you have courage to have a serious discussion on history? 'The Gandhi family was ruling when the people now criticising them in the BJP weren't even born. None even knows what the conditions were like when India became independent. After Nehru became the Prime Minister, 545 princely States were merged into India. You had no leaders of your own, so you claim Sardar Patel as your own. It was Nehru who ensured Kashmir remained a part of India,' Jagga Reddy said. The BJP leaders need a time machine like in the film 'Aditya 369' to go back 100 years and understand history. 'BJP has no agenda. They've taken a single drop of water from the ocean that is Congress to survive politically. That one drop is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,' he said. He said the composition of the new committees is excellent. 'They've prioritised social justice. Including Komatireddy Venkat Reddy in the Congress' PAC would have been ideal,' he said. 'Even if I am given any committee post, I'd be happy. Even if I'm appointed as an attendant in Gandhi Bhavan, I'll work happily. If I've been given a role in the same committee as Jana Reddy, it feels like a promotion,' he said. Referring to the criticism from BJP leaders about Revanth Reddy's speech at Jai Hind rally, he said, 'Revanth Reddy may have spoken in the flow. Raghunandan Rao went mind-blank because of Kishan Reddy's reprimand, and now he's distorting history. Understand the history of Rahul Gandhi's great-grandfathers, grandfathers, grandmother, and father again. The sacrifices made by them for the country should be known by the new generation. It's not just about movies - develop awareness about history. Only then will the BJP's true face be revealed. In-charge Natarajan is working as diligently as a doctor—everyone's issues will be resolved'.

Cong hits back at Eatala for speaking ill of Revanth
Hyderabad: Telangana PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud strongly condemned the statements of MP Eatala Rajender against CM Revanth Reddy. He described the former Finance Minister's assertions as nothing but venting of his frustration over his failure to get the BJP State president's post. Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, the Congress leader reminded Eatala of his alleged involvement in the land grabbing cases and held that he has no moral right to speak against the CM who remained focused on Telangana's development. He warned that Congress workers will not remain silent if Eatala continues to make irrational comments against Revanth Reddy. He said that it does not befit a leader like Eatala to speak evil against a fellow politician holding the rank of a CM. 'The way Eatala spoke would put to shame civil society. Is he not the one who was responsible for pushing the prosperous State of Telangana into bankruptcy, by becoming part of the KCR's machinations like Alibaba and his forty thieves,' he said, describing Eatala as one of the forty thieves who supported KCR during his tenure. Over Eatala's statements on HYDRA, Mahesh Goud reminded that there was a case of land grabbing against him for his alleged involvement in encroachment of Endowments lands. The TPCC president said that despite the global economic crisis, Congress was overcoming the situation and implementing all the schemes. He wondered how easy it was to spread poisonous propaganda against the government, when the State was moving forward on the path of development and going ahead with progress. 'BJP leaders are obstructing the development of Telangana at every step, with the sole aim of dominating the political scene. The BJP's BC leaders are adopting a partisan attitude towards the BC Bill, which is incomprehensible,' he said.
