Kim Soo Hyun sent pictures of himself sleeping with an idol to underage Kim Sae Ron, called her 'seaweed': 'I would have…'

The ongoing controversy surrounding the relationship between the late actress Kim Sae Ron and actor Kim Soo Hyun took a shocking turn on Wednesday (May 7) as Kim Sae Ron's family held a press conference in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In a move that has sent shockwaves through the Korean entertainment industry and social media, the family released a voice recording purportedly featuring Kim Sae Ron detailing disturbing allegations against Kim Soo Hyun. According to reports from the press conference and corroborated by K-media outlet TenAsia, the released audio includes Kim Sae Ron allegedly admitting to having a sexual relationship with Kim Soo Hyun when she was in middle school, specifically when she would have been only 14 years old. This revelation directly contradicts Kim Soo Hyun's previous statements, where he claimed their relationship began only after Kim Sae Ron reached the legal age of consent. But it doesn't end here. In the recording, Kim Sae Ron can reportedly be heard stating that Kim Soo Hyun would show her photos of himself with other individuals, including an idol, after sexual encounters. Kim Sae Ron allegedly described how Kim Soo Hyun would even show her photographs taken during his sexual encounters with others. Kim Soo Hyun sent pictures of himself sleeping with an idol to Kim Sae Ron In a particularly disturbing detail highlighted in the released recording, Kim Sae Ron allegedly revealed that Kim Soo Hyun had saved the contact information of an idol he had slept with under the bizarre and objectifying name "Seaweed," due to her scent. "But what makes him psycho is that he would show me photos taken while having sex with someone else. But what's even crazier is that he saved the idol he slept with as 'Seaweed' in his contacts because she smelled like seaweed. If I had the right circumstances, I would've exposed everything already," Kim Sae Ron allegedly said in the audio. Kim Soo Hyun was dating an idol before Kim Sae Ron? According to a previous report by The Korea Times, Kim Soo Hyun was reportedly in a relationship with a fellow actor and K-pop idol during his military service, spanning roughly from 2016 to 2019. The two are said to have grown close while working under the same agency, KEYEAST, which Kim joined in 2010 after parting ways with M. Boat. In 2019, Kim Soo Hyun left KEYEAST and went on to establish his own agency, GOLDMEDALIST, alongside his cousin, director Lee Sa Rang. Actor Park Bo Gum Playfully Recalls an Incident with Co-star Lee Jun Young: Find Out Why He Felt ‘A Little Hurt'

The K-drama ' When Life Gives You Tangerines ' has captured both national and international audiences since its premiere, quickly becoming a major success. Among its highlights is Park Bo Gum's charming performance as the young 'Yang Gwan Sik', which has won widespread praise. Recently, during an episode of his late-night music show 'The Seasons', Park Bo Gum shared a lighthearted yet memorable story involving his co-star Lee Jun Young — and why it left him feeling 'a little hurt.' Park Bo Gum Welcomes Lee Jun Young on 'The Seasons' To promote their new project ' Pump Up the Healthy Love ', Park Bo Gum invited co-star Lee Jun Young and actress Jung Eun Ji to appear on 'The Seasons – Park Bo Gum's Cantabile'. The trio quickly warmed up the atmosphere, reflecting on their early days as K-pop idols and sharing candid memories, as reported by TenAsia. A Playful Confession About a Missed Message During the lively conversation, Park Bo Gum opened up about a small but unforgettable incident with Lee Jun Young. While recalling their time filming the show ' My Name Is Gabriel ', Bo Gum noted that although they worked on the same project, they didn't share any overlapping scenes — something he found disappointing. He recounted, 'We met twice, once at the wrap party and once at the script reading. I remember exchanging numbers. I sent a message saying, 'It was nice meeting you,' but I never got a reply.' Though Bo Gum shared the story playfully, he admitted feeling slightly hurt by the lack of response. However, he was quick to add his gratitude for Jun Young's appearance on his show, softening the moment with humor. Bo Gum continued, laughing, 'I thought maybe I had the wrong number, but after our meeting yesterday, I realised the number was correct. I was a little hurt, but you must have been busy. I should've knocked more, maybe even called and said, 'It's me.'' Lee Jun Young Left Flustered Lee Jun Young was visibly flustered by the revelation and struggled to defend himself. The situation became even more humorous when Jung Eun Ji chimed in, sharing her own experience: she too had sent Jun Young a message that went unanswered. Trying to explain himself, Jun Young laughed and confessed that he rarely checks his messages. He further revealed that he currently has over 999 unread texts from various people on his phone — a habit that left both his co-stars and the audience in stitches.

NJZ/NewJeans saga so far: Parents suing TenAsia for fake news, NJZ hate accounts shutter

SEOUL, Feb 16 — The parents of NJZ (formerly NewJeans) members are suing TenAsia for an article they say is misleading, claiming that the group has already signed with talent agency BANA. It's been a rough last few weeks for the group with constant rumours circulating, ADOR's attempt to block the media from using the group's new name, ADOR also claiming it was in the process of renewing member Hanni's visa. NJZ had confirmed that they had already renewed Hanni's visa despite ADOR's statements. Meanwhile fans have noticed that of late large accounts on X (formerly Twitter) that had been spamming NJZ hate have quietly shuttered with the most noticeable being users @aespannjeans and @ jinjjinss being deactivated after threats of legal action against them as well as @Sniper71232 another profilic hate account. As of now NJZ has been confirmed to perform on March 23 at the ComplexCon event at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, teasing new music for the event. However ADOR has filed injunctions to declare the contract with the group is still valid and it's likely the legal wrangling will continue on for some time. The full statement from NJZ on the TenAsia article is below: We would like to inform you that the article titled 'NJZ Partners with BANA' by TenAsia's reporter Lee Min Kyung, which was just released, is completely false. NJZ has not entered into any agreement with BANA, nor have there been any discussions. The article cites 'testimonies from multiple industry insiders,' but it is a completely fabricated falsehood. It seems that the intention is to create controversy by publishing the article without confirming the facts with the parties involved or BANA. We plan to file a complaint with the Press Arbitration Commission and take strong legal action against TenAsia for spreading these false claims without verifying the facts. In the past, TenAsia has repeatedly published completely false information, presenting it as established facts, leading to numerous articles that caused severe mental distress to the members and many others involved. We hope that TenAsia's reporter, Lee Min Kyung, takes legal responsibility for this article and the dissemination of these false claims. We apologize for causing further disturbance this evening just before the weekend. I hope you have a peaceful evening."
