Andy Cohen weighs in on whether Real Housewives Of New Jersey will ever return after it was put on hiatus
Andy Cohen has shared an update on where Real Housewives of New Jersey stands after initially announcing last summer that the franchise was getting a reboot. The 57-year-old executive producer — who is accused of orchestrating an attack against a Bravo star — appeared on The View Tuesday morning, where he opened up to the panel of hosts. 'We are doing casting on [Real Housewives of] Jersey,' he confirmed, adding about the hiatus: 'It was really on a deep pause and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be.' Cohen also made it a point to tell viewers that he and the Bravo network as a whole think 'it is a great franchise and we love it.' The white-haired media personality was a guest on the show one day after celebrating his birthday. He wore a navy blue suit, striped white and blue shirt, and black-rimmed eyeglasses. Last July Cohen kept fans in suspense as he promised that Bravo would be doing 'something different' following the season 14 finale and reunion. Then, in August news came that the show likely wouldn't pick up filming until some point in 2025. The latest installment came to a close with Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda as the main cast members. Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler also made appearances as friends. Details regarding updates on the series had been limited until Andy's visit to The View this week. But earlier this year Andy refuted claims that only Melissa and Dolores would return to the show, along with a selection of new personalities. According to Page Six, he clarified on his self-titled SiriusXM show in February: 'If it says, "Bravo has announced," or "Andy said on his radio..." then it is true. That's what I will tell you. Don't believe anything else.' On a March episode of her On Display podcast, Gorga revealed what she thinks is the reason the RHONJ franchise was 'ruined.' 'It was a constant game and it was a hunger game,' she explained. 'All the planning and planning and planning and plotting. 'I'm like, "Jesus Christ, do you guys ever sleep?"' 'We are doing casting on [Real Housewives of] Jersey,' he confirmed, adding about the hiatus: 'It was really on a deep pause and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be'; season 14 stars L-R Rachel Fuda, Margaret Josephs, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral Also during his spot on The View, the father-of-two talked up Bravo's forthcoming addition to the Housewives franchise — Real Housewives of Rhode Island. He spilled about the new show to Page Six, 'They are very Italian. Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it's an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections. I think it's going to really surprise people.' And the longtime host compared it to RHONJ, noting that the main distinction is location. 'Well, they're in Rhode Island. It's coastal,' he stated, adding that the new lineup is 'more Italian' with 'deep families.'

Next Gen NYC star Gia Giudice reveals mom Teresa's reaction to her plastic surgery
Teresa Giudice was "shocked" when her daughter had a nose job. The 53-year-old reality star - who is best known for appearing on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' - is mother to Gia, 24, with ex-husband Joe Giudice and her daughter broke her silence on the rumours that she has been under the knife in recent times. She told AccessHollywood: "I'm honestly so open to it and my fans know that, and my audience knows that. That's why I don't get it. I'm so open, so why are they questioning it? But yeah my nose, I always have been so insecure about my nose. So when I finally opened to my mom about it, she was in shock about it. She didn't believe that I was acutally insecure about it but when I got my nose she, she was like 'Oh, it was really that bad?' and I'm like 'Yeah, thanks!'" Gia - who has started to carve out her own reality television career with the new show 'Next Gen NYC' - has decided that the nose job was the "best decision" that she has made in her entire life, but insisted that there is very little else that she has altered about her appearance over the years. She added: "The nose was the best decision of my life and the OG watchers of 'The Real Housewives' have seen my lips since I was a little kid, and I have never touched them. I have gotten a little bit of Botox in my forehead in my elevens, but nothing else major besides my nose. I'm very open, I want my audience to feel like I am being honest with them."

‘Love Island USA,' Plus 7 Things to Watch on TV this Week
Between streaming and cable, there is a seemingly endless variety of things to watch. Here is a selection of TV shows and specials that are airing or streaming this week, June 2-8. Details and times are subject to change. From yachts to villas. 'Below Deck Down Under' just wrapped, and luckily for those of us who can't get enough of life and drama at sea, the new season of 'Below Deck' is setting sail with Capt. Kerry Titheradge at the helm this week. Fraser Olender is also back as chief stew on the show that follows the crew of a luxury charter yacht. In a preview released by Bravo, we already saw a crew member calling the maritime police and, well, everyone making out with everyone. Monday at 8 p.m. on Bravo. Toooonight (said in Iain Stirling's voice): 'Love Island USA' is back for its seventh season. Though there may be some flawed logic in sending a group of hotties to a remote island villa in an attempt to form long-lasting relationships, it does make for ridiculously fun TV. New episodes arrive every day of the week except Wednesdays, with Ariana Madix back as the host. Things are sure to be messy. Streaming starting on Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Peacock. Warning: If you watched the original seasons of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' this new show might make you feel a little old. Teresa Giudice's daughter, Gia, who was 8 years old when she first appeared on that series, will be in 'Next Gen NYC,' alongside adult children of other 'Real Housewives' franchise stars, with some New York City influencers mixed in. As the cast members of other Bravo shows like 'Summer House' and 'Vanderpump Rules' age out of their hard-core partying days, maybe this new cast will fill those roles. Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Bravo. A big week for theater. From Tom Francis's 'Sunset Boulevard' walk to Cole Escola's Mary Todd Lincoln in 'Oh, Mary!' and Audra McDonald's return to the stage in 'Gypsy,' there has been a lot of theater to celebrate this season. And that is exactly what will happen at the Tony Awards. Alongside the usual performances from this year's biggest shows, it was announced last week that original 'Hamilton' cast will reunite for a performance during the broadcast. The New York Times theater critic Jesse Green saw all of the 42 eligible Broadway productions and ran through his predictions for the show. Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS. Want all of The Times? Who is Next Gen NYC star Gia Giudice, daughter of Teresa Giudice from RHONJ? She has a criminal justice degree from Rutgers and has dated Christian Carmichael since 2020
Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) star Teresa Giudice's mini-me daughter, Gia Giudice, grew up in front of the camera thanks to her mum's role on the reality show. Now, she's taking centre stage as one of the stars of the new Bravo show Next Gen NYC. Premiering on June 3, the show, according to its press release, 'follows a tangled web of friends raised in the spotlight – or at least close enough for good lighting – as they stumble into adulthood one brunch, break-up and spontaneous decision at a time'. And already in the trailer, Gia seems to be in a heated exchange with another cast member. It looks like viewers are in for a good dose of drama. Gia Giudice on holiday last year. She wants to become a lawyer (in time) Teresa Giudice celebrated her daughter's graduation from Rutgers University with a heartfelt Instagram post in 2023. Photo: @teresagiudice/Instagram In May 2023, Gia graduated from Rutgers University with a criminal justice degree. Proud mama Teresa celebrated her daughter's milestone with an Instagram post: 'I am so proud of my devoted and intelligent daughter, Gia, for graduating [from] a stellar university, a huge milestone to accomplish in life,' she wrote. In February 2023, Gia landed a job with Kathleen Martínez, an attorney specialising in immigration law, per People. The decision might have been influenced by Gia's father Joe, who was deported to his native Italy in 2019 after he and Teresa were indicted for fraud in 2013. With the new show, however, it seems that Gia may be putting law school on hold. 'Law will always be my passion, and I'm honestly just having fun right now with my influencer career and just doing things with you guys. So I'm really happy, and I am living out this part of my life right now,' she said. She's behind a viral meme
