Tesla Pulls Plug On Model X And Model S In Europe
Tesla, the Elon Musk-owned electric car maker, has pulled the plug on the Model X and Model S in Europe. According to the reports, Tesla has stopped taking orders for the Model X and Model S in several European countries. The American automaker has updated its webpage, and the models available in stock are up for sale, whereas the option to order new models is unavailable. Earlier, Tesla discontinued the electric cars in China, leaving Europe, the US, and Canada as the only markets for the Tesla Model X and Model S. However, now that the models have been taken off the European market, the US and Canada are the only markets for the Model X and Model S, currently. While the brand has not yet issued an official statement about the action and has stopped taking orders, the probable reason would be the decrease in sales. It must be noted that Tesla recently brought an update to the Model X and Model S; however, it failed to cast the spell on customers. Also, the brand bundles these models along with the Cybertruck and Semi under the "other car". A few reports also claim that the American carmaker recorded 23,275 units of the "other cars" in H1. On the other hand, the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 registered sales of 7,00,000 units globally. While the brand's official take on the matter is yet to be stated, it is expected that Tesla will bring new cars to the deck that could prove to be reasonable replacements for the Model X three-row SUV and the Model S sedan.

Tesla Launches Impressive 2025 Model X Lease for July
There are plenty of electric SUVs, but none of them has anything remotely like the Tesla Model X's Falcon Wing doors. Driving a Model X means you get to make a grand entrance or exit wherever you go and have room for the whole family. Tesla's flagship SUV has been around since 2017, and it receives some minor updates, including new 20-inch or 22-inch wheels, increased third-row legroom, and a larger cargo area. Along with the Model S, the X also benefits from new suspension components for a smoother ride, more sound deadening, better active noise cancellation, and a new front camera that aids the adaptive driving lights. The standard all-wheel drive Model X comes with seating for five, but you can upgrade capacity for six or seven. The Model X competes with the Rivian R1S, BMW iX, and the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV. For July, Tesla is offering an attractive lease deal on the Model X All-Wheel Drive. July's Tesla Model X All-Wheel Drive lease is $1,349 per month for 36 months, with a $7,500 down payment, a $0 security deposit, a $695 acquisition fee, and a $7,500 leasing incentive. The total due at lease signing is $9,544, including the first month's payment of $1,349. On the Tesla website, lessees can make changes to the down payment, lease term, and annual mileage, and the adjustments will be made to the monthly lease price accordingly. The mileage limit is 10,000 miles per year or 30,000 for the lease term. A $0.25 per-mile charge applies, along with charges for excessive wear. The monthly lease price excludes tax, license, title, registration, insurance, additional options, and maintenance. A $395 disposition fee is due at the end of the lease term. Learn more here. The non-Plaid version of the Tesla Model X is powered by a 100-kWh battery pack with a 352-mile EPA-estimated range. Total output from the two electric motors driving the front and rear wheels is 670 hp with a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds. That's quicker than the BMW iX Drive50, which will do the same sprint in 4.4 seconds. You also won't spend a lot of time charging the Model X, as it will add 179 miles in just 15 minutes using a Tesla Supercharger. Standard features include 20-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, 8 exterior cameras, a hands-free rear liftgate, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, wireless device charging, a 12.3-inch driver instrument display, a 17.4-inch central touchscreen, a 9.4" second-row touchscreen, a dashcam, a 22-speaker audio system, and front and rear parking sensors. Safety tech that comes standard includes supervised full self-driving, blind-spot collision warning, lane departure avoidance, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. The Tesla Model X is high on visual drama with its large profile and Falcon Wing doors, but it also delivers great interior space, tech-forward infotainment, sports car-like acceleration, super-fast charging, and excellent all-electric range. The option to increase passenger capacity is a plus, and the added third row space makes the Model X even more usable. Now might be one of the best times to explore this Model X lease deal, especially with a $0 security deposit. Before signing the lease agreement, make sure to account for all costs due at signing, including taxes and registration fees, etc. *Disclaimer: This article is provided for informational purposes only. Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit Found Dead with Gunshot Wound, Hours After Sudden Dismissal by Putin Amid Corruption Probe
In shocking political developments in Russia, former Transport Minister Roman Starovoit was found dead Monday just hours after President Vladimir Putin officially fired him from his post. He is thought to have killed himself, and Russian news reports said he had been found in or around his Tesla Model X in a town west of Moscow. Starovoit's death was the latest blow to the Russian authorities over the recent infrastructure failures and corruption scandals. He had been transport minister since May 2024, having been the head of the Kursk region for almost five years. The area, which is adjacent to Ukraine, was at the center of the fighting in the war. Ukrainian forces have at times even briefly taken control of parts of the region—a shocking event in post-World War II Russia. In Kursk, a large-scale corruption case is underway related to the embezzlement of more than 1 billion rubles (about $12.7 million). The money was supposed to go toward constructing defensive fortifications in the area. Starovoit's replacement as governor, Alexei Smirnov, and his deputy have already been detained on suspicion of embezzlement. Starovoit had been under investigation for his part in the suspected crimes, according to Russian media reports. Some Russian Telegram channels with close ties to the security services claimed that Starovoit had shot himself; others reported that his body was found several meters from his car, buried in bushes. The Investigative Committee said a criminal case has been opened and an autopsy ordered to establish the cause of death. There's also the lack of clarity over the timeline. Some reports indicate that he died on Saturday or overnight on the night of July 5 and 6, and his official dismissal occurred on Monday. Curiously enough, on Sunday—just the day before his death was made public—Starovoit had presided over a meeting on an ammonia leak from a tanker in the port of Ust-Luga. No photos or footage were ever released of that meeting, adding to the suspicions. His departure comes after a tumultuous few weeks for Russia's transportation system. Some 500 flights were delayed or grounded between July 5 and 6 because of Ukrainian drone strikes on Moscow and St. Petersburg airports. There was also a powerful blast at Ust-Luga port that resulted in an ammonia spill and prompted an emergency response. Public and political frustration has grown with these repeated breakdowns. The Russian president believes former Novgorod region governor and deputy transport minister since February Andrei Nikitin is more suitable to handle the new tasks the ministry is facing, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. Starovoit's sacking saw Nikitin take up the post of acting transport minister straight away. Some analysts saw Starovoit's death as a grim indicator of the pressure that senior Russian officials are under, particularly with intensifying anti-corruption campaigns, losses in war, and internal political strains. It was a "stark sign" of how top officials see no way out from the system anymore except death, said Alexandra Prokopenko, a researcher for the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center. It is viewed as the first suicide of a senior Russian official since the Ukraine war and perhaps the most high-profile death connected to internal discord over the simmering war.
