Last Updated: Captured in a video, Aryan Khan is seen engaging in a friendly match, sweating it out for a productive day off. Fans got a rare glimpse into Aryan Khan 's life off-screen as the soon-to-be director was spotted playing paddle tennis with friends over the weekend. Captured in a video, he is seen engaging in a friendly match, sweating it out for a productive day off. With all his focus on the game and energetic presence on the ground, Aryan showcased both his love for the sport and fitness, leaving fans gushing over him. Keeping it comfortable, Aryan sported an athleisure look in a white T-shirt and black shorts, complete with sneakers. Aryan Khan's casual time out with friends comes amid rising anticipation for his directorial debut. Titled Ba***ds of Bollywood, the Netflix series is said to be a satirical take on the Hindi film industry, with many renowned names expected to make a cameo. The story follows the journey of an outsider and his friends as they navigate the 'chaotic, larger-than-life, yet uncertain world" of Indian cinema. The release date of the show is yet to be announced. Produced under Aryan's father Shah Rukh Khan's production house, the show also features Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan in cameo appearances, as Saif Ali Khan recently confirmed at Waves Summit 2025. The actor was speaking with Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos when he said, 'I have to say I saw a little bit of that show as well," adding, 'It looked fantastic. My kids have done a little appearance in it." Ted, too, added to the anticipation, as he said, 'We have a show called The Ba***ds of Bollywood coming up that is really fun, and I am going to leave the audience to try to figure out the title completely, but it is so fun. I am four episodes in." Even Karan Johar has spoken highly of Aryan Khan's talent, lauding his work in the most anticipated series. In a chat with Raj Shamani, the filmmaker said, 'I don't know if I'm even supposed to say this, but I have a huge belief in Aryan Khan's directorial talent. I don't want to say anything about his Netflix show, because he'll get very angry, but all I'll say is this: watch out. If there is a King, there will be a Prince. I can say this with confidence, because I've seen the show." While fans await the show's release date, it has been reported that Aryan Khan might skip the promotional events for the series. The Ba***ds of Bollywood is ‘unbelievable', Aryan's chemistry with Shah Rukh is ‘crazy': Reveals Avinash Gowariker

When a star kid begins their journey in the film industry, there's a certain intrigue around their debut. Some manage to impress, while others take slightly longer to make an impact. For instance, earlier this year Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani won hearts with her debut whereas Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan sadly failed to impress. Audiences are now eagerly waiting to witness Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's debut. Unlike his sister Suhana Khan who followed in their superstar father's footsteps into acting, Aryan is beginning his career behind the lens as a director with the show The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Well, we now have another early review of the upcoming web series. A post shared by D'YAVOL X (@dyavol.x) Celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker, who was behind some of the most loved family photographs of the Khans clicked at Mannat, has now shared a review of Aryan Khan's upcoming show. In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash also spoke about Aryan's chemistry with his father Shah Rukh Khan. He was quoted saying, 'What a series he has made, it's unbelievable. I was lucky to see some parts of it. He's too cool, talented, and Shah Rukh's relationship with him is mind-blowing. Since kids, Shah Rukh and AbRam also. Normally, it's mother and son and father and daughter, in shots. But there's a crazy chemistry between Shah Rukh and Aryan, the way they look and the way it is. This shot was in the house, and it was for Gauri's book, the coffee table book. So we wanted a few combos, and we did everything. It's just the way they are. It's the confidence and swag. And he's mind-blowing.' A post shared by Gauri Khan (@gaurikhan) Before Avinash, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos called Aryan's series 'really fun' whereas actor Saif Ali Khan described The Ba***ds of Bollywood as 'fantastic'. Saif also revealed that his children Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan have cameos in the show. Meanwhile, Netflix India's Vice President of Content, Monika Shergill had revealed how Aryan's directorial debut project is going to be a 'delightful and emotional ride' for audiences. We are so ready to witness the magic!

Aryan Khan's series is ‘unbelievable', his chemistry with dad Shah Rukh Khan is ‘mindblowing', says celebrity photographer

Aryan Khan, who is making his debut as a director and showrunner later this year, has kept the details of his Netflix series tightly under wraps. Titled 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood', the show's premiere date is yet to be revealed but the likes of Dharma Productions head Karan Johar, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and actor Saif Ali Khan have already started showering their praise on the show, even though the audience is yet to see the first glimpse of the show. Now, celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker has also praised Aryan's show and shared that Aryan and his father Shah Rukh share 'crazy chemistry.' In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, he said, 'I just love Aryan. I love his energy, his confidence, his swag and I was so looking forward and hoping that he becomes an actor but he has become a director.' He then praised Aryan's show and said, 'What a series he has made! I was lucky to see some parts of it. It's unbelievable what he has done. He's too cool, he's too talented.' I don't want to say anything about his Netflix show, because he'll get very angry, but all I'll say is this: watch out. If there is a King, there will be a Prince. I can say this with confidence, because I've seen the show. He has an individualistic voice as a director. He's not anything like you'd expect Shah Rukh Khan's son to be. He's his own person. He works quietly, he doesn't carry the baggage of his father, he doesn't carry the weight of his legacy. He works hard; he works 20 hours a day. He is a rare personality type.'

Talking about the reason behind his smile, Avinash said, 'He's a poser. You tell him to chin up, he will react, chin down, same. He's unbelievable. He is too much fun, and everyone loves him. He carries too much energy. And he was laughing a lot in this shot. Something funny happened, some family internal joke or something. I didn't make him laugh; it was AbRam who did it.' Meanwhile, Aryan is set to make his directorial debut with the series Ba***ds of Bollywood. Produced by Gauri Khan, the series is co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, who also share writing credits with Aryan. The cast of the show is yet to be revealed. The official synopsis of the Netflix show reads: 'Behind the glamour of Bollywood lies a world just as dramatic as the films themselves—and that is where the Netflix series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood begins. Through Aryan Khan's distinct lens, this series dives into the glitz, the chaos, the comedy, and the high stakes of an industry built on dreams. From the house of Red Chillies Entertainment, this collaboration with Netflix brings to life a story that is as bold and entertaining as the movies we have come to love. We can't wait for audiences to experience this with us.'* Shah Rukh, on the other hand, will be seen in the movie King, helmed by Siddharth Anand. The film will also reportedly star Suhana Khan (in her theatrical debut), Abhishek Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone in key roles. The film is under production.
