He currently stars opposite Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren in the crime series 'MobLand', and his latest action film 'Havoc' premiered on Netflix in April. On whether he will reprise his role as the alien anti-hero, Hardy and director Kelly Marcel shared in an interview in October 2024 that they are aware that it is time to say good bye to Venom ahead of the release of 'Venom: The Last Dance', reported People. "We knew it would be three," Marcel said. "We knew it was a trilogy and we knew it would end like this from the beginning."While Venom's time has seemingly come to an end, Hardy has admitted there is one crossover he always wished for his Venom versus Tom Holland's Spider-Man. "That's way beyond my control. And I'd love to do that, but that's not even a conversation to have at my level, of just being an actor in that world," shared Hardy, reported People.

"Falling to bits": Tom Hardy Reveals List of Health Woes from Action Stunts

Yara Sameh Tom Hardy got candid about how his body is past the point of healing after a life spent getting beaten up on movie sets and in real life during martial arts tournaments. The actor is well known for getting physical on screen, be it as Bane in 'The Dark Knight Rises' or as Max Rockatansky in 'Mad Max: Fury Road.' Films such as 'The Revenant,' 'Warrior,' and the 'Venom' trilogy have also gotten Hardy battered over the years. 'I've had two knee surgeries now, my disc's herniated in my back, I've got sciatica as well,' Hardy told Esquire UK. "And I have that… is it plantar fasciitis? Where did that come from? And why? Why?! And I pulled my tendon in my hip as well. It's like, it's all falling to bits now, and it's not going to get better.' Hardy currently stars opposite Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren in the Paramount+ crime series 'MobLand.' He also headlined his latest action movie with Gareth Evans' 'Havoc,' which started streaming on Netflix at the end of April. Hardy's comic book movie days are behind him for now. He debuted as Venom in Sony's 2018 movie, which grossed a huge $856 million at the worldwide box office. He reprised the character in two sequels, 2021's ' Venom: Let There Be Carnage' and 2025's 'Venom: The Last Dance,' the latter of which was billed as Hardy's last outing as the character and grossed $478 million worldwide. 'I loved playing Eddie in 'Venom,'' Hardy told the publication. 'Juggling chainsaws… Put me on a unicycle and throw everything at me! I was just really trying to push myself as much as I could. But I had no Spider-Man! No Avengers! It's just us. Until those bridges are crossed… That's way beyond my control. And I'd love to do that, but that's not even a conversation to have at my level, of just being an actor in that world.' Hardy has been outspoken over the years about wanting to make a movie with Venom facing off against Tom Holland's Spider-Man. He revealed on 'The Discourse Podcast' in March that he 'got as close' as he possibly could to getting a crossover made before talks fell through. 'We played in the Sony counterpoint to Disney's Marvel panoply, of which [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige has a huge amount of cards, and Sony has a huge amount of cards in its own right, including Spider-Man, and then there's just no crossover,' Hardy now said. 'We'd love to cross over! That's not happened. That's what happens, and it's one of those things.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War

'There's only more, more, more. Of what? Stomach ulcers? Blood pressure? Your knees are going, your hair's falling out, your teeth are wonky, you're almost 50.' 'Maybe it's a self-worth thing, maybe it's not finishing school, maybe it's not being good enough,' he continued. 'But all this 'I'll show, I'll show'… Show who? No one cares! I know I can do it. Well then, chill out.' 8 Tom Hardy in the Paramount+ series 'Mobland.' Luke Varley/Paramount+ The 'Mobland' star also spoke about trying homeopathic treatments such as 'tinctures' to help his body. He said he'd consider 'stem cells' as well, adding, 'I think if it comes down to the wire and it seems the sensible thing to do and I take advice.' Despite describing himself as 'the bottom of the old-man ladder when it comes to characters,' Hardy isn't ready to retire yet. 8 Tom Hardy attends the 'Mobland' premiere in New York on March 31. 'I've done some stinkers, I've done some cool things, I've played with some really amazing luminaries and people, I've had some really cool opportunities.' 'I'm not retiring myself,' Hardy added, 'but I'm just saying, 'What do you want to do with that?'' 8 Tom Hardy at the 'Havoc' premiere in London on April 15, 2025. Samir Hussein/WireImage Hardy's Esquire interview was conducted in March at a busy time for the actor. He finished the press tour for 'Venom: The Last Dance' three months earlier, had just completed shooting 'Mobland,' and was starting to promote the Paramount+ crime drama series. 'I got dizzy today,' he told the interviewer. 'I took a Sudafed and it's starting to work, so I feel better, but in the interviews I was sitting there, and you know when you feel not right, but you can't tell someone you don't feel right? Like, 'Listen, if I pass out…'' 8 Tom Hardy in 'Venom: The Last Dance.' ©Sony Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection Later in the interview, Hardy admitted that his success in Hollywood hasn't been fulfilling in the ways he expected. 'The more I know, the less I know,' he shared. 'If becoming a successful actor was climbing Everest, and I got to the summit, it was a false summit. Because there was another climb!'
