Katy Perry halts concert to jokingly accuse fan of messaging Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry paused a recent show to jokingly call out a fan for apparently messaging Orlando Bloom. On Tuesday, a concertgoer took to Instagram to post a video taken at the popstar's concert in Las Vegas last weekend. The footage shows Katy introducing the 2024 song I'm His, He's Mine before squatting by the fan and complimenting their "cute grin". "I know why you're here. I know. I know. You've been doing it for months, ever since the residency (in Las Vegas)," she quipped, before playfully accusing the fan of sliding into her fiancé's direct messages (DMs). "You didn't come to see me play," the 40-year-old declared. "If you keep on DM'ing my man, I'm going to have you removed. Seriously, get your own life." In response to the joke, the fan attempted to offer Katy a gift - which she quickly refused. "I don't want it," she stated. "I'm his. Stay the f**k away." Katy and Orlando have been engaged since 2019 and share four-year-old daughter Daisy. Speaking to E! News in January, the Dark Horse singer noted the Lord of the Rings actor was fully supportive of her embarking on The Lifetimes Tour. "I'm preparing to go on this world tour and he understands that," she explained. "(It's) just like when you're prepping to do a movie, and some of the movies he's done are even more physically intense, mentally intense than any of these tours." Katy's next show is scheduled to take place in Dallas, Texas on Thursday.

NHL and Dallas Stars bump Katy Perry ‘Lifetimes Tour' from original concert date

The Dallas Stars reaching the Western Conference Finals in the Stanley Cup playoffs has bumped Katy Perry from her current orbit. The new 'astronaut' is one of the bigger pop stars in the world, but not even that status can move the Stanley Cup from its preferred dates. The NHL, which has the power of at least four used microwave ovens combined, has told Ms. Perry to get out. Perry is currently on her equivalent to Taylor Swift's 'The Eras Tour' with her own 'The Lifetimes Tour,' and is scheduled to play at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, May 21 in Dallas starting at 7 p.m. Also scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21 at the American Airlines Center: Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the Stars and the Edmonton Oilers. According to Dallas Stars president Brad Alberts, the Perry concert has been moved to Thursday, May 22. This conflict was not expected, but these things do happen every so often. There are always Plan Y+Z+X Emergency scenarios, and this is on Perry and her team to figure it out. This is on Perry to show the type of range she demonstrated when she heroically sat in Blue Origin on April 14 as it broke the 'Kármán Line' to officially enter space, and returned 11 minutes after take off. Or, less time than it will take Perry to sing 'Teenage Dream,' 'Last Friday Night' and 'Hot n Cold' during her concert. All entertainment venues, whether it's the AAC, AT&T Stadium or anything else, schedule events based on the priority given to its primary 'tenants.' In the case of the AAC, the Dallas Mavericks are given first priority followed by the Dallas Stars. After that, No. 3 are concerts, festivals, etc. Katy Perry's global audience is just a tick bigger than an NHL team, but in terms of the building she's no better than third. The logistics would be plentiful, but hosting an NHL Stanley Cup playoff game during a Katy Perry concert in the same building at the same time would be one hell of a night of entertainment. T-Swift never even tried that. Alas, that kind of visionary thinking is ahead of its time. As absurd as it sounds, we should all prepare that this sort of combo-package is inevitable. It just won't be Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center.

Katy Perry's 'The Lifetimes Tour' concert in Dallas rescheduled as NHL postpones Dallas Stars' Western Conference Finals opener Katy Perry concert rescheduled due to Nuggets playoff game Katy Perry Dallas fans will have to wait an extra day to listen to her hit songs like 'Firework' and 'Teenage Dream' as the American Airlines Center gets ready to play host to a playoff game between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers on May 21. This last-minute schedule shift speaks volumes to how the NHL playoffs are given priority even over the biggest pop music acts when it comes to arena booking. As per Dallas Stars president Brad Alberts, the team did not anticipate this point of contention when the initial concert was scheduled, but such overlaps in scheduling are unavoidable. Katy Perry's concert has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 22. Places such as the American Airlines Center have an obvious tenant priority: the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA and the Dallas Stars of the NHL first, followed by concerts and other live performances. While Katy Perry's worldwide popularity is enormous, particularly after her viral Blue Origin space trip adventure, in Dallas, playoff hockey comes first. This is not the first instance that sporting events have caused major tours to relocate. Even mega-artists such as Taylor Swift have had comparable reschedule situations because of arena availability. The logistical issue of hosting a high-energy NHL playoff game and a stadium concert in one evening is an almost impossible task—even if the fans can dream about it. Billie Eilish hits out at 'fake' images of her at 2025 Met Gala

Billie Eilish has spoken out on "fake" images depicting her at the 2025 Met Gala. The Birds of a Feather singer skipped the fashion event staged at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City earlier this month as she was on tour in Europe. But despite Billie being overseas, a number of AI-generated photos showing what it may look like if she had attended the Tailored for You-themed bash began to circulate online. Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday night, the star addressed duped fans who had criticised the "trash" outfit she was wearing in the images. "Seeing people talk about what I wore to this year's Met Gala 'being trash.' I wasn't there!" she exclaimed while eating an ice cream. "That's AI. I had a show in Europe that night." Billie went on to beg followers to leave her alone. "Let me be! I wasn't even there!" the 23-year-old added. The Happier Than Ever hitmaker performed gigs at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 4 and 5 May. And Billie isn't the only artist who has been forced to address AI-generated images showing them at the Met Gala. Katy Perry took to Instagram to insist any photos of her at this year's bash were fabricated. She also joked that her mother wouldn't be fooled by the pictures like she had been in previous years because they were together at the time. "Couldn't make it to the MET, I'm on The Lifetimes Tour (see you in Houston tomorrow IRL)," she wrote, before joking: "P.s. this year I was actually with my mom so she's safe from the bots but I'm praying for the rest of y'all."
