WWE icon Nikki Bella's reaction to Happy Gilmore 2 scenes being cut as star 'devastated'
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella was left 'devastated' when she discovered all of her dialogue scenes had been cut from the flick Nikki Bella has revealed her shock at discovering all of her speaking scenes were axed from Happy Gilmore 2. The eagerly anticipated sequel featuring Adam Sandler as the hot-headed professional golfer finally dropped on Netflix this Friday (25th July). Crammed with appearances from sporting icons and comedy favourites, Bella was set to feature alongside fellow grapplers MJF and Becky Lynch. They even backed the movie on the red carpet during the film's premiere earlier this week, but Bella was left stunned when she settled down to view it. After catching wind of whispers that some of the film's footage had been slashed from the final version, she was "devastated" to learn the chopped scenes featured all of her spoken parts, reports the Mirror US. Breaking down the situation on The Nikki and Brie Show, she revealed: "So this is what I'm gonna say. Happy Gilmore 2 was awesome. I laughed the whole time. And there was so much I didn't know. "Now, I remember hearing a few months ago that 20 minutes was gonna have to be cut out, and I'd been praying that it wouldn't be my stuff. "Well guess what? All my talking stuff got cut. And not just me, it's the whole group of people I filmed with." Bella disclosed she and her wrestling mates had several "funny scenes" that were stripped out. Whilst she was undoubtedly gutted, she acknowledged the choice was simply part of the film-making business. "I get it when I'm watching the whole thing," she continued. "For 20 minutes to be taken out, and to keep the heart of Happy Gilmore, it had to happen." Despite this, Bella couldn't hide her disappointment after working with comedy legends on one of the most anticipated sequels of the year. "Like even though I mean, like, whatever, but you know when you're like oh my gosh? Like, it just, like I was like, sad you know? "I almost wish I like knew, especially because I did media right before that, and I'm like oh my gosh I'm this character, don't even end up knowing my name!" However, despite her disappointment, Bella's scenes being cut hasn't tarnished her view of the film itself. "But it's okay," she said. "Honestly like, the movie is so good. The movie is so good! Nikki Garcia doesn't want to date following Artem Chigvintsev divorce
Nikki Garcia isn't interested in dating following her split from Artem Chigvintsev. The 41-year-old WWE star and the Dancing With the Stars professional divorced after two years of marriage last year but she isn't in a rush to find love again as she focuses on caring for her son Matteo, four, and her career in the ring and on TV. Speaking to her twin sister Brie Garcia on their The Nikki and Brie Show podcast, Nikki said: "At his age right now, I get so much love that I realise this is all the love I need and want right now." The Total Divas star explained that she has been on "a few" dates since her divorce but is refusing to "waste time and energy" looking for a new man. Nikki explained: "I was like, 'I'm not even going to waste time and energy.' I'm just too tired." She added: "I have Teo and I do career, Teo and career, so that's where I'm at." Nikki and Artem split last year after a row that saw the police called to their home and claims that she was seen as the "villain" in the divorce as she questioned the double standards of how men and women are portrayed by the media. In a preview from her appearance on Kristin Cavallari's Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour obtained by E! News, she said: "I think they make me, like, more of a villain than I am." Kristin - whose own marriage to Jay Cutler ended in 2022 - added: "Of course, you're a woman." Both Nikki and Brie believe that their jobs as professional wrestlers means that the pair are considered to be tougher than they actually are. Nikki said: "I feel like when you're badass women and you kick a** in a ring, people just assume you're not empathetic. "It's like we could go kick so much a** and, yeah, I'll pick a guy out in the crowd. I'll body slam you right now. I can do it... 'I'll pay for your hospital bill." Brie agreed: "Because we're pro wrestlers and all these things, we can come off so hard and tough." Nikki added: "I think that's the biggest misconception." The star also suggested that her WWE persona was used against her during her legal battle with Artem. Nikki said: "People bring up like, 'Well I don't know, 2017, your character in the ring.... I'm like, 'That's not real. I was playing a villain.' I was playing a character and they all think I'm that person. I mean, I heard it in court through the divorce. Because I was a strong woman, a pro wrestler."

Nikki Garcia's real life divorce was referenced in her WWE comeback
Liv Morgan mocked Nikki Garcia's divorce from Artem Chigvintsev during her WWE return. The 41-year-old WWE Hall of Famer - who is known in the wrestling world as Nikki Bella - made her comeback on last night's (09.06.25) episode of 'Monday Night Raw' on Netflix, and she had an in-character confrontation with the 31-year-old Women's Tag Team Champion. As part of the storyline, Liv interrupted Nikka's comeback speech and said: "You know what , Nikki? You're lucky. You're lucky I wasn't around during your career because I would've been champion and beaten you around then too. "But you know what? As I'm talking, I realise why you didn't mention me. You didn't mention me because you're jealous of me. "You're jealous of me because I have everything that you don't. I have respect, I have a championship, and I have a man!" Nikki fired back with comments about Liv's on-screen boyfriend Dominik Mysterio, before getting laid out in the middle of the ring. The scripted exchange - which appears to be setting up a match between the two superstars at 'WWE Evolution' on July 13 - was a reference to Nikki's real life split from her ex-husband Artem. Nikki and the former 'Dancing With The Stars' professional settled their divorce in November, three months after his domestic violence arrest - which was dropped with no charges - and last month she insisted she's not looking to date again at the moment. Speaking on SiriusXM's 'The Nikki and Brie Show', she said: "I really put myself out there in different situations, and went out of my comfort zone, whether it was with business on appearances, showing up, you know, packing the calendar, the schedule. "I did things that I learned lessons from, whether it worked or it didn't work, it was successful or not, I really put myself out there. "I went on some dates. Not ready for it yet, but I put myself out there. Tried it out. Not ready for it." Her twin sister Brie said she was "happy" her sibling tried to date again,. Nikki added: "[I] just wanted to get my feet a little wet and I just realized I'm not ready for this, but you know, I could have just stayed in hotel rooms and just, you know, on nights that would've been wrapped up at like 7pm. "I went and had some drinks and had conversations and realised that that's not what I want to do right now. Well, at least not date-wise."

Brie Garcia recounted a scary pool incident with her son, Buddy. In the Monday, June 9, episode of "The Nikki and Brie Show" on SiriusXM, Garcia, 41, revealed Buddy jumped into the deep end after another child tossed something into the pool and told him to 'go fetch.' Garcia had taken Buddy, 4, and his sister, Birdie, 7, to the pool but didn't get in herself because she'd just gotten 'a really good blowout' she didn't want to ruin by getting her hair wet. 'We go to this, like, club place, so there's people at the pool, whatever. It's Sunday, fun day,' Brie explained to her sister, Nikki Garcia. 'We're all there and my kids, so Birdie's actually really great at swimming now. It's, like, really crazy to see her do laps. Buddy's good in the shallow end, but he freaks out when he gets to the deep end, but he knows how to do it, but we're not there yet, so I watch them like hawks.' Brie's experience with her son comes after May was National Water Safety Month and weeks after influencer Emilie Kiser's 3-year-old son, Trigg, died after drowning in the family's pool. Kiser has been fighting to keep the details of his death private. Per Tuesday, June 3, court documents obtained by Us, a judge ruled to give Kiser temporary confidentiality on her request for privacy 'until a determination is made that balances the public's need for information vs privacy interests.' 'Emilie has fully cooperated with investigators. The focus here is not on withholding information, but on safeguarding the dignity of a child and allowing a grieving family the space and privacy to heal,' a source told Us. Kiser was not home at the time of Trigg's death.
