'Don't ask about Harry and Meghan': Bombshell Buckingham Palace garden party rules revealed in Real Housewives of London preview
British reality star Panthea Parker has shared the moment her plan to confront King Charles about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was thwarted at a Buckingham Palace garden party. Parker is part of the cast of the new series The Real Housewives of London, which follows the personal and professional lives of several wealthy women living in the English capital. In a trailer for Hayu's new reality show released Tuesday, cast member Parker and her husband are seen preparing to attend an exclusive garden party at Buckingham Palace. Tickets to the three annual garden parties at Buckingham Palace are considered among the most exclusive in English society and are typically handed out to citizens who have 'contributed to their local community'. Panthea, 50, revealed that she planned to grill the monarch about his estranged younger son and daughter-in-law during the elite event. 'I'm going to go up to the King, I'm going to go, 'How do you feel about Harry and what he did?'' she told her husband, Ed Parker in the clip. It is understood the footage was recorded while the couple were heading to the garden party held at Buckingham Palace in May that was hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla. Mr Parker then refers to a pamphlet for the event. 'It says, specifically, 'Don't ask the monarch about Harry and Meghan,'' he said. While Harry and Meghan have publicly discussed their rift with the monarchy in TV interviews, Netflix documentaries and books, the King has never publicly addressed the estrangement. It is unclear if Panthea did ultimately mention the Sussexes to the King or heeded her husband's advice. However, the reality star later shared a selection of photographs and videos from her day at Buckingham Palace on Instagram. "If there's any garden party to go to, it's the King's at Buckingham Palace—naturally,' she wrote. "The average age? Let's just say I was the youth ambassador. "So I had to bring the vibes - blessing the royals, curtsying at strangers, asking if they were cousins. "Thank God no one marched me off to the Tower of London… I don't think my heels would've survived it!"
