‘SI' Swim star sizzles poolside in soaking wet lingerie, bikinis
'SI' Swim star sizzles poolside in soaking wet lingerie, bikinis originally appeared on The Sporting News Stunning Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Allison 'Ally' Mason took to Instagram to share her latest splashy fashion campaign, sizzling in the pool in one sexy look after another The professional model and USC grad posted the sexy video for edgy lingerie and swimwear brand Kiki De Montparnasse on Friday August 8. In the share, she showed off her chiseled abs and flawless physique in a series of sexy bikinis — starting with a stunning turquoise one that popped against her bronzed skin — and lacy lingerie. She also modeled a sheer red lingerie piece that laced up the front, an asymmetrical black bikini, a red two-piece with sheer paneling, and a sleek black one-piece. She's in the pool throughout the video, meaning that even lingerie that wasn't meant to be wet was soaked. Mason, 25, wore the same butterfly necklace with every look. The professional model was most recently a Swim Search finalist to be in the next print issue of Sports Illustrated swim. She already hit the runway for the iconic magazine's fashion show to close out Miami Swim Week this past May 31. The sold-out show featured mostly models from the 2025 issue and took place on the pool deck of the glam W South Beach. Also walking in the show were 2025 cover stars Livvy Dunne, Jordan Chiles and Lauren Chan, plus models such as Penny Lane, Xandra Pohl, Jena Sims, Ilona Maher, Katie Austin, Nicole Williams English, Ali Truwit, Camille Kostek, Achieng Agutu, Jasmine Sanders and Denise Bidot. Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani called out by his manager Dave Roberts
Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani called out by his manager Dave Roberts originally appeared on The Sporting News The pressure is on for the defending World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers. As the club approaches the final 40+ games of their regular season, their top rival, the San Diego Padres, has climbed within two games of them for the lead in the National League West. Los Angeles lost on Sunday, 5-4, in an effort to sweep the Toronto Blue Jays. The Dodgers held the lead, but could not hold on late. Losing by one run hurts, but especially with the circumstances of the game. Star Shohei Ohtani cost the Dodgers two runners on with two out in the fifth inning, as he elected to attempt to steal third without his manager Dave Roberts' blessing. He was out with Freddie Freeman at the plate. MORE: Dodgers' Ohtani faces Angels' Trout in must-watch Anaheim showdown Roberts was asked about it after the game, and had some blunt words for the media: "That was his decision. Not a good baseball play." To be fair to the MVP favorite, he has stolen 17 bases on the season, and that was just his fifth caught stealing on the season, but with a future Hall of Fame hitter at the plate, it may not have been his best choice. Ohtani continues to mash for the Dodgers despite the bone-headed play. He is hitting .284, and tied with Kyle Schwarber at the top of the National League in home runs. Ohtani also has scored 111 runs, which is running away with the lead in all of Major League Baseball. The Dodgers start a three-game series at the Angels on Monday, before a big weekend series against the Padres. Quinn Ewers debut grades: Dolphins rookie QB flounders with two fumbles in preseason outing vs. Bears
Quinn Ewers debut grades: Dolphins rookie QB flounders with two fumbles in preseason outing vs. Bears originally appeared on The Sporting News Quinn Ewers has been in the limelight since he was a teenager. Such is life when you're one of a handful of players to earn a vaunted 100.0 grade on 247 Sports' recruiting database. His notoriety follows him into the collegiate game, taking shape during a brief spell at Ohio State and, more notably, a trophy-laden tenure with Texas. Now, it has trailed him once more, resurfacing upon his arrival with the Dolphins. 📲 Follow The Sporting News on WhatsApp Ewers' Miami debut vs. the Bears took the football world by storm — for all the wrong reasons. Here's what you need to know. MORE ROOKIE PRESEASON DEBUTS: Giants' Jaxson Dart impresses in first preseason action How Jaguars two-way rookie Travis Hunter fared in preseason debut Browns' Shedeur Sanders lights up Panthers after slow start Quinn Ewers debut grades Grade: D Ewers toiled amid a pour of Bears defenders, missing the target on the vast majority of throws he delivered on Sunday afternoon. Ewers took the reins of the offense from Zach Wilson partway through the third frame. He proceeded to miss five of his first six pass attempts and cough up the ball on the goal line, setting up a Chicago score. It set the stage for a sour showcase for the Texas alum, whose typical brand of efficiency went the way of the Dodo bird in the Windy City — at least for a fleeting moment. Quinn Ewers debut stats Completions/attempts: 5/19 Passing yards: 91 Sacks: 2 Fumbles lost: 2 Ewers' final line tells much of the story of his maiden preseason appearance. He struggled to find his markers against Chicago's second- and third-stringers, seeing effort after effort carom off the earth. The Dolphins afforded their rookie gunslinger plenty of opportunities to let go of the rock; he tallied 18 pass attempts in just a quarter and a half of work. Nevertheless, Ewers' throws were largely unruly, evading his pass-catchers' grasp. Then, there were the fumbles. One Ewers miscue on the goal line set up a Chicago score. Another on the final drive nearly facilitated a Bears' game-winner. Ewers has plenty of time to overcome his dour showing atop Soldier Field's glint pasture. But he'll need to show far more accuracy on his throws to do so. Quinn Ewers debut highlights vs. Bears Here's a look at notable moments — both positive and negative — from Ewers' first match in NFL colors.

Chicago White Sox break the Internet with a 50-foot hot dog
Chicago White Sox break the Internet with a 50-foot hot dog originally appeared on The Sporting News This is something none of us knew we needed to see today. Luckily, the Chicago White Sox were looking out for us. They unveiled something that seems impossible for their Sunday game against the Cleveland Guardians: a 50-foot hot dog. It has to be seen to be believed: MORE: Mookie Betts admits 'this season's over' after brutal struggles We have many, many questions. Among them: How do you make that? How do you eat that? Why would you make that? Why would you eat that? Is this the best accomplishment of the entire White Sox season? This feels like someone was sitting in a room and wondered, "How long can we make a hot dog?" And then the dream grew much larger than anyone was anticipating. Let's call up Joey Chestnut and see if he can eat it. MORE: Mariners are on the best home run hitting, base stealing run in MLB history But now, here's something even more incredible. This doesn't come close to the world record for longest hot dog. In 2011, a 668-foot hot dog was created in Paraguay. Excuse us, but what?! This probably didn't help anyone's appetites. Better go have a hamburger tonight, just to be safe. You wouldn't want the kitchen to bring out a hot dog that seems like it never ends.
