‘Most cluttered home' hits market after major reno
Britain's most cluttered home has hit the market for £300,000 ($A627,000) after receiving a major makeover. Previous occupants had left it a mess both on the inside and out, The Sun reports. Some rooms were not even possible to access as debris piled on the floors and furniture. The house has now undergone a major transformation becoming a stunning family home, with three vibrant bedrooms and a modern kitchen. The property was auctioned off in November 2021, where the bidding started at £110,000 ($A230,000). Despite the rubbish that had accumulated throughout the property, it received offers in £5,000 ($A10,400) increments from buyers. A proxy bid finally brought the auction to £145,000 ($A303,000). Following its makeover, the property is back on the market for just over double the price. The current owner has turned the home into an ample living space with a large corner garden. There is also a large loft area above bedrooms two and three, which could be converted into a further two rooms with the necessary planning permissions. As the property description states: 'Upon entering, you are greeted by a bright and airy open-plan lounge/diner, perfect for entertaining or relaxing with the family. 'The newly fitted kitchen/breakfast room is a true highlight, boasting contemporary units and ample space for culinary creations.' The property has also been given a new roof, plumbing, gas central heating and a complete rewiring. On top of that, doors and architraves, skirting and some floors have been sanded back to their original wood. It is due to go on the market via Purplebricks after once being dubbed 'Britain's most cluttered house'.

Rose West 'can barely walk and has no friends' behind bars
WARNING: DISTRESSING CONTENT Serial killer Rose West was convicted of ten murders back in 1995 and she is one of only four women in Britian to be given a whole life order New details about how notorious serial killer Rose West spends her days in prison has been revealed. West, now 71, raped, tortured and killed at least 12 women and girls with husband Fred at their Gloucester home of horrors between them, from 1967 to 1987. Their horrifying crimes didn't come to light untill 1992 when daughter Louise, then just 13, accused Fred of rape and Rose of cruelty. That case collapsed after eldest daughter Anne Marie — abused from age eight — refused to testify, but what the children told police raised red flags. Officers launched a huge investigation after learning the kids were constantly threatened with being buried 'under the patio like their sister Heather', who had vanished five years earlier. The full horror was soon uncovered, their youngest victim was Rose's stepdaughter Charmaine, just eight, and the eldest was Fred's ex-wife Catherine 'Reno' Costello, 27. In 1995, Rose West received a whole life order, for life, meaning she will die behind bars after police discovered a series of mutilated bodies buried in the garden, beneath a patio and even in a sex dungeon cellar. Fred never stood trial for the horror he helped unleash. He took his own life while on remand in HMP Birmingham agd 53. Since she abandoned her attempts to appeal her conviction in 2001, she is understood to be resigned to dying in prison, where sh has already spent nearly 30 years. Shehas regular transfers due to threats of violence from other inmates. She has been at New Hall for six years and enjoys a cushy life. But insiders said she sometimes lashes out at staff if she does not get her own way. A source told The Sun:"She's in a disabled room now because she can barely walk. She never really leaves the wing she's held on and is escorted all the time by prison officers if she goes anywhere. Sometimes she sits in the communal areas on her own. "No one talks to her because everyone knows who she is and what she did, even if she has changed her name. When I was there, she tried to make friends with the other women and gave them gifts, like vapes, but she was rejected. She likes to watch nature documentaries on the TV in her cell, especially ones about birds." In the hope of distancing herself from her evil crimes, West reportedly paid £36 to change her name to Jennifer Jones. It's understood she changed her name by deed poll in December last year and told friends it's her way of moving on. However, everyone knows her real identity at the women-only HMP New Hall near Wakefield in West Yorkshire. Some inmates spurn her attempts at friendship, and she often eats tomato soup in her cell alone for breakfast, before spending most of her time in her cell knitting and talking to the TV, because she can barely walk. West is now being held in a special unit at New Hall known as Rivendell House, where 30 prisoners each have an en-suite cell and are allocated a laptop which they can use to order food from. The communal areas are also said to be "more inviting" than other blocks in the prison, according to inspection reports. Netflix released a new documentary titled Fred and Rose West A British Horror Story earlier this month. It delves into the nightmarish deeds of the Wests from their unassuming home in Gloucester during the '80s and '90s. The three-part series, which utilises over 50 hours of previously unseen and unheard police interview tapes from 107 interrogations, promises to cast new light on the murders of at least 12 women by Fred and Rose West.

Donald Trump explodes in furious rant at Vladimir Putin over Ukraine peace
Donald Trump has issued a fresh warning to Vladimir Putin after the Russian president made a series of demands for the West to meet in order to secure peace in Ukraine The former US president, clearly agitated, sounded an alert that Putin might be "tapping us along" whilst persisting with the hostile military offensive in Kyiv. According to The Sun, Trump expressed his irritation following Putin's intensified demands for the West to steer clear of Russia's ex-Soviet domains, even calling for written vows to stop NATO's progression eastwards. Top Russian officials, speaking to Reuters, indicate that Putin is seeking a "written" commitment from Western leaders, ensuring that NATO will not spread to include nations such as Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova. These requests emerge as global leaders' patience wears thin, with Trump leading the charge in pushing Putin to engage earnestly in peace talks. Addressing journalists at the White House on Wednesday, Trump didn't mince words: "We're going to find out whether or not he's tapping us along or not, and if he is, we'll respond a little differently," reports the Express. Despite a lengthy discourse with Putin just last week, Trump conceded that he still "can't tell" if the Russian leader genuinely seeks conciliation. His remarks followed shortly after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov disclosed that Moscow had proposed new peace negotiations with Ukraine slated for June 2 in Istanbul, waiting for Kyiv's answer. The standoff between Russia and NATO continues to escalate, with Putin firmly against the alliance's expansion, particularly Ukraine's potential membership, which the Kremlin deems entirely unacceptable. Kyiv remains defiant, asserting that Russia has no authority to dictate its aspirations for NATO membership. Former US President Trump, known for his blunt rhetoric, intensified his critique of Putin on Truth Social, cautioning the Russian leader about the risks he's taking. His post read: "What Vladimir Putin doesn't realize is that if it weren't for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD. He's playing with fire!". Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Medvedev swiftly retorted, suggesting that the only 'REALLY BAD' outcome to be wary of would be a global war. Medvedev commented: "Regarding Trump's words about Putin 'playing with fire' and 'really bad things' happening to Russia, I only know of one REALLY BAD thing: WWIII." In a recent two-hour conversation, Putin reportedly agreed to collaborate with Ukraine on a memorandum draft. The Kremlin has confirmed it is preparing its version of the document, with no definitive deadline set for finalising ceasefire conditions. Meanwhile, the conflict on the ground shows no signs of abating. In a dramatic nocturnal operation, Ukraine executed a fierce retaliatory strike on Moscow in response to Russia's three-day aerial onslaught. Ukrainian forces aimed at crucial infrastructure in Moscow's Zelenograd district, allegedly causing damage to an essential microchip facility. Blasts were also reported at a drone manufacturing plant and another defence installation in Dubna. Both locations are thought to have incurred substantial damage, delivering a new setback to the Kremlin's military endeavours. Russia's defence ministry alleges that Ukraine launched nearly 300 drones overnight in this audacious counterstrike.
