Katy Perry Left Clinging to Flying Prop After Mid-Song Malfunction

Katy Perry is the latest touring pop star to be hit with a major prop malfunction while mid-song — and mid-air. Multiple fan videos from Perry's performance in San Francisco showed the singer nearly falling from a flying butterfly as it traversed the Chase Center. Perry was singing her 2013 hit 'Roar' Friday night when the prop appeared to tilt and drop, which prompted her to grab on to the cables and look up. Perry then waved to the crowd to indicate she was OK. 'Good Night San Fran,' she captioned the post. The malfunction comes weeks after Beyoncé experienced a similar moment of terror when the flying car she was traveling in during a Houston show began to tilt mid-air. Beyoncé paused the show and asked production to 'stop' repeatedly, before carrying on with the performance once the issue was resolved. The crowd cheered as the production crew attempted to rectify the situation. 'Thank you for your patience,' Beyoncé said. The car was eventually lowered to the floor level. Both the car and Beyoncé were harnessed to cables, and the singer was also seen gripping on to one as the crew navigated the situation. Billie Eilish Teams With James Cameron for 3D Concert Film

Billie Eilish and James Cameron are teaming for some kind of 3D concert film, the singer announced Saturday from the stage during a performance in Manchester, United Kingdom. 'So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here,' the Grammy-winning singer told the sold-out crowd. 'I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it's going to be in 3D. Eilish said her four-show run, with performances between Saturday and Wednesday, would be part of the project. 'So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row.' Eilish is in the middle of a global tour for her latest album, 'Hit Me Hard and Soft.' A representative for Eilish told TheWrap that more details would be released in the coming months. As if Cameron won't have enough to do during that time – the director is set to release 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' just in time for Christmas 2025. Eilish already has one (two-dimensional) concert film in the can: 'Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles' from 2021. That same year, she released the documentary 'Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry.' The post Billie Eilish Teams With James Cameron for 3D Concert Film appeared first on TheWrap.

Jeffrey Epstein's Ex-Girlfriend Tells CNN He and Trump Were Best Friends – and ‘Up to No Good'

'They were best friends,' she insisted. 'I dated Jeffrey for a period of more or less, I think, about four or five months. And the only friend that he would mention every time we saw each other or had a phone conversation was Donald. And he would share a lot of anecdotes. I have plenty of anecdotes. And yeah, they were very close and they were up to no good.' Q: How did Epstein talk about Trump?Jeffrey Epstein's ex-girlfriend Stacey Williams: 'That was his bro. That was his wingman… They were very, very close.' — Republicans against Trump (@RpsAgainstTrump) July 19, 2025 Keilar also asked how Epstein talked about Trump during time period. Williams insisted Epstein once said 'he had to check in on [Trump] because he was unwell and very upset about something that had happened.' 'That was his bro. That was his wingman,' Williams added. She also said of Ghislaine Maxwell, 'I'd hear about Ghislaine and I'd hear about Jeffrey. And I met Ghislaine in his house. She would come wafting in and out, the home in New York. So, [Trump] was clearly just someone that he talked about all the time.' Williams previously accused Trump of groping and inappropriately touching her at Trump Tower in 1993. Williams said she was introduced to Trump by Epstein at a Christmas party in 1992 around the time she and Epstein began dating. 'It became very clear then that he and Donald were really, really good friends and spent a lot of time together,' she said. Trump's campaign spokesperson denied the claim. 'These accusations, made by a former activist for Barack Obama and announced on a Harris campaign call two weeks before the election, are unequivocally false. It's obvious this fake story was contrived by the Harris campaign,' Karoline Leavitt said. Trump has sued The Wall Street Journal for $10 billion after the paper on Thursday published a story saying it had reviewed a bawdy message that the future president contributed to a 2003 birthday book that Maxwell prepared for Epstein. The Journal says it stands by its story and will defend the defamation lawsuit. Still ‘Too Much' to Say: Lena Dunham Has More Story for Season 2, But Will Netflix Renew it?

Lena Dunham's romantic dramedy Too Much may not have made a splash on Netflix's global charts, but the creative force behind the series isn't ready to walk away. As speculation grows over whether the streamer will renew the show, Dunham is already thinking about what a second season would explore, and it wouldn't be more 'meet cute.' Instead, she wants to dive straight into what happens after the impulsive wedding that closed out season one. No renewal yet, but Dunham has plans Netflix has not confirmed whether Too Much will return, and the show's weak debut—failing to crack the global top 10—has led many to believe it's on the chopping block. But Dunham's recent interviews make clear she's not done telling Jessica and Felix's story. 'In terms of the second season, we're not there yet,' she told The Hollywood Reporter. She continues to say, 'that marriage is not the end of a love story—it's the beginning.' She wants to explore the reality of two people who barely know each other being thrust into a lifelong commitment. From learning each other's quirks to navigating family, future plans, and conflict, Dunham sees plenty of material still on the table. Cast is on board for more Star Megan Stalter, who plays Jessica, echoed the feeling in an interview with The Wrap, saying, 'If they're married, then what now?' Will Sharpe and Emily Ratajkowski, whose characters Felix and Wendy were central to Jessica's messy romantic unraveling, are also reportedly open to returning. Ratajkowski even shared that Dunham has storylines ready for her character, Wendy. Even though renewal is uncertain, Dunham's ongoing deal with Netflix and her enthusiasm could give Too Much a second chance.
