Star of hit 70s TV show looks very different as she makes rare appearance – can you tell who it is?
A SEVENTIES TV star looked completely unrecognizable as she stepped out to run errands in Los Angeles. The iconic small screen actress dressed down in red shorts, a black logo top and sandals as she enjoyed a day in the sunshine. Susan Olsen, famed for her role in The Brady Bunch, was seen clutching her car keys as she exited her white SUV. The 63-year-old juggled a bunch of papers under her left arm as she made her way around town. Santa Monica born Susan - who was aged seven when she was cast in her plum TV role - was often seen on-screen with her blonde locks tied into to pig tails for her five years on the series. SUSAN'S TAKE Susan has previously spoken out about her tendency to play "dull" roles in her career. She previously said: "That's just how my career was and it was something I had to accept." It saw the child star hit with a piece of equipment while she was having her make-up done prior to the show's pilot episode. She said of the aftermath: "My eyes were black. "I mean, I had two black eyes. My nose was swollen. My face was swollen." Advertisement She added: "The saddest news is that we didn't sue Paramount, because I would have made more off of that than the show.' Meanwhile, her former Brady Bunch co-star Maureen has opened up on the prospect of a series reboot. Maureen recently told "So I feel very protective of it in a way. It has such great memories for so many people, but it would just have to absolutely knock my socks off for me to want to do anything with it. I would know in my heart. Murder Suspects Young and the Restless Didn't Consider on July 16
On the July 16 episode of The Young and the Restless, everyone wondered who killed Damian. While Cane was pretty sure he was the real target. Everyone speculated who could have done the deed. But here are three people they forgot to consider. The Power of Three Cane (Billy Flynn) has three kids. Two are with Lily (Christel Khalil), the twins, Mattie (last played by Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (last played by Jacob Aaron Gaines). Mattie, we know, is attending Stanford. WATCH NOW: Watch Soap Hub's podcast now! We also know she hasn't been doing well emotionally. Lily keeps flying out to California to support her daughter. She hasn't been really clear about what exactly is wrong with Mattie. Is she just having trouble adjusting to a school where everyone is brilliant, while she grew from age 5 to 15 over the course of a summer, so we have to assume she missed a LOT of school? Or is Mattie really disturbed? As in… homicidally disturbed. MORE: What happens next on Y&R? Here Comes the Son And then there's Charlie. Do we know where Charlie is? Nope. Is he in college? No idea. Is he working somewhere? Maybe. Is he traveling the world? If so, where? Could Charlie be in France? Lost Boy And then there is Cane's son, Sam. Sam was the result of an affair Cane had with Juliet while still married to Lily. We don't know how old Sam is now. (He should be about 8… but it's a soap. He may be older than Mattie and Charlie by now!) When Cane left town, he took Sam with him. But did he keep him? Dump him on a nanny? Send him to boarding school? Would Young and the Restless Kill Damian After July 14?
On the July 14 episode of The Young and the Restless, Damian got stabbed. (And maybe also poisoned?) His life hangs in the balance. Also in the balance? Our sanity. Why would The Young and the Restless…. For weeks before viewers saw Damian (Jermaine Rivers) on Y&R, they heard about him. Amy (Valarie Pettiford) couldn't stop talking about him, Nate (Sean Dominic) couldn't stop talking about him, and even Audra (Zuleyka Silver) got into the act. We got a Damian fake-out when Holden (Nathan Owens) pretended to be Nate's missing brother and Amy's missing son. That build-up was second only to the mystery of Who Is Aristotle Dumas. And now we know that Dumas is Cane (Billy Flynn). And Cane and Dumas are at odds, not just about business, but over Lily (Christel Khalil), as well. Why would Y&R introduce Damian with so much fanfare if they were only planning to kill him almost immediately? MORE: Find out what happens next on Y&R. Maybe it's an issue with the actor. Either he wants to leave, or The Powers That Be aren't happy with his performance. But if that's the case, why not recast? Rivers has only been on the canvas since February 3. Fans like him well enough. But we are not overly attached. A recast wouldn't be too bad after only six months on the air. We've been strongly urged to care about Damian. So why nip that in the bud? Yes, mysteries are fun, especially the locked room kind, which is what the story in France is supposed to be. A bunch of people with complicated relationships with each other, all locked up. No one can get in, no one can get out. So it has to be one of them. (Obviously, the people who cool and clean aren't people, so they can't be suspects. And Cane and Adam [Mark Grossman] can come in and out, but we're not supposed to remember that, either.) But mysteries are only fun if we care about the victim. And Damian isn't there yet. 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards Nominations Revealed
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has revealed its nominees for the 2025 annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which will be held on Oct. 17 in Pasadena, California. Among the nominees are General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, Days of our Lives, The Drew Barrymore Show, The View, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse and Be My Guest with Ina Garten, among many others. This year, several new categories will debut, including outstanding culinary cultural series, outstanding emerging talent in a daytime drama series and outstanding regional content in a daytime genre. The nominees in eight categories were announced on Wednesday evening on Access Hollywood, E! News, ET and Extra. The categories are outstanding daytime drama series, outstanding instructional series, outstanding daytime talk series, outstanding travel or adventure program, outstanding lead actor in a daytime drama series, outstanding lifestyle program, outstanding lead actress in a daytime drama series and outstanding instructional/how-to program. There are five nominees and one winner in each category; however, some categories, like daytime drama program and daytime personality – daily, have fewer. Flynn left Days of Our Lives in March after accepting a job on The Young and the Restless.
