I'm convinced, The Young and the Restless' Aristotle Dumas has to be Cane
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The streets of Genoa City continue to whisper the name of Aristotle Dumas, and yet, almost no one on The Young and the Restless canvas knows who he is. Sure, word around town is that he wants to acquire Chancellor, but the true identity of the tycoon remains a mystery. However, The Young and the Restless writers have dropped enough breadcrumbs to lead me to believe that Aristotle Dumas is actually Cane Ashby. Although the rumor has been floating around social media for a while, it wasn't until The Young and the Restless episode from April 2 that I jumped on the Cane bandwagon. In the episode, Jack (Peter Bergman) briefly stated that Aristotle arrived on the business scene about five or six years ago. That may not sound like a big deal initially, but doing some research, Cane (Daniel Goddard) was last spotted in Genoa City in 2019, which was five or six years ago. Cane has a history of running cons, and he learned from the best conman he knows, his father. It's perfectly reasonable to assume that in his time offscreen, he managed to amass a fortune to somehow build an empire. Months ago, Victor (Eric Braeden) informed Lily (Christel Khalil) that Aristotle had been looking into Winters, prior to Damian's (Jermaine Rivers) arrival on the scene, and before Nate (Sean Dominic) came to learn that Damian is his half-brother. I found that odd at the time of the reveal, and my suspicions were only compounded when Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) blew back into town. When she popped back up in town and met with Lily, Devon and Nate, she revealed herself to be Aristotle's lawyer and the only person to know his identity. She assured the trio that Aristotle has absolutely no desire to take over Winters, as he has nothing but a deep admiration for the company. Interestingly enough, Amanda claimed that Aristotle admired Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) very much and believes Winters 'perfectly embodies Neil's approach to business.' Additionally, Aristotle reportedly thinks that Neil would be very proud of Lily, Devon and Nate. If you ask me, the entire sentiment sounds like it's coming from someone who knew Neil personally, and given Cane was his son-in-law for years, we'd say Cane fits the bill. If Aristotle really does have an appreciation for the Winters family and is on a quest to take over Chancellor, I think it all boils down to Lily. I think it's entirely possible that Cane is Aristotle and would like to acquire Chancellor as a big gesture to win her back. It's no secret that Lily was crushed after Billy fired her from Chancellor, and further enraged when she aligned with Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to get back into the CEO chair, only to be double-crossed. Cane was likely upset to hear all this news. Since Lily is arguably the love of his life, Cane could be trying to acquire Chancellor to give it to her to run, not only to prove his love, but to show that he believes she should be running the business. The idea isn't far-fetched, especially when you think of the lengths Victor went to in order to get the company for Nikki. I also found it rather interesting that in The Young and the Restless episode from May 30, while Lily ate dinner with Damian, she brought up her romance history with Cane. It sounds like foreshadowing of Cane's return to me. Now if you're into other realms of the soap world, then you know the original Cane potrayer, Goddard, is currently starring in General Hospital as a dubious professor. So if I'm right about my Cane theory, Goddard may not be available to reprise his role. Thankfully, Days of Our Lives star Billy Flynn is set to make a debut on The Young and the Restless soon. Given his role hasn't been disclosed as of publication, it's entirely possible that Flynn plays a new version of Cane. With Rory Gibson crushing it as the new Michael on General Hospital, I won't rule out the possibility that a new actor can add some excitement to a veteran character. The Young and the Restless spoilers: Aristotle's party bombshell rocks Genoa City?
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Before The Young and the Restless' Aristotle Dumas makes his official debut, we already have to credit him for accomplishing one triumph. We can't recall the last time a character was mentioned so many times on the soap and so impactful to the canvas of the series, despite never appearing. Aristotle's name has been on the tip of nearly everyone's tongue in Genoa City, with the Newmans, the Abbotts, the Winters/Hastings bunch and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) all wanting to know more about the mysteries surrounding this secretive business tycoon. Now, there have been a few hints to suggest Aristotle's true intentions and identity. Billy (Jason Thompson) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) have said repeatedly that Aristotle wasn't happy with the way Victor (Eric Braeden) acquired Chancellor, and Aristotle has his eyes on taking the company. As far as Aristotle's real identity, Victor and Michael (Christian Leblanc) tossed around the possibility that he is Tucker (Trevor St. John), based on Aristotle's interest in Chancellor and the Winters family. Plus, the Mustache assumed there was a connection between Glissade and the names of Aristotle's companies. However, our best guess is that Aristotle is Cane. That would explain the connection to Chancellor and the Winters family and Aristotle's alleged admiration of Neil (Kristoff St. John), while also fitting our theory that Aristotle's push to acquire Chancellor is about getting the company to give to Lily (Christel Khalil) a big gesture to win her back. With all that being said, it looks like Aristotle's big reveal is in the foreseeable future. In The Young and the Restless episode airing on May 30, Aristotle has a messenger deliver invitations around Genoa City that cordially invite people to join Aristotle for an 'extended stay at his summer home in Nice, France.' The kicker here is that the festivities start on Friday, June 13. The interesting choice in date, compounded with the fact that he invited all the big players in town (Victor and the Newmans included), leads us to believe Aristotle has some big surprises in store. Naturally, we think Aristotle will finally unveil his real identity. That in itself will be enough to make attendees drop their jaws. However, we suspect he may have something else up his sleeve that may come as an even bigger shocker. If we had to guess what that may be, we've whittled our list down to two possibilities. First, we suspect there's a chance Aristotle reveals a major move he's made against Victor. Perhaps Aristotle has convinced the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice that Victor acquired Chancellor through improper means, and the federal government has therefore voided the sale. If that turns out to be the case, ownership of Chancellor could be up for grabs, unless Aristotle has already purchased it. Our other guess is that Aristotle lets it be known that he actually has an accomplice in all of this. Amanda confirmed that Aristotle is a man, but there have been rumors out there about the possibility that Aristotle could be Lily's mom, Druscilla (Victoria Rowell). Perhaps both are true to a degree. Yes, Druscilla is believed to have died long ago, but in soapy fashion, maybe she's been alive all this time and connected with the guy behind Aristotle, and the two have been working together for a few years, waiting for the right time to tell it all. Admittedly, this is a bombshell theory that borders on far-fetched, but we won't rule it out. For now, as we wait to see what happens at this Aristotle party, we'll just mark Friday, June 13, on our calendar. New episodes of The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS. The Young and the Restless spoilers: Damian fired and Holden gets intriguing new job
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. When The Young and the Restless' Damian (Jermaine Rivers) and Holden (Nathan Owens) arrived in Genoa City, it seemed as if the two were a packaged deal. After they dropped the charade of Holden pretending to be Damian, it was revealed that Damian was a CEO working for Aristotle Dumas, and Holden was Damian's right-hand man. Additionally, Damian and Holden were best friends. Fast forward to the present, and the dynamic between the duo has become rather complex. Damian has slowly been trying to repair a relationship with his mother, while getting to know Nate (Sean Dominic) as his brother and trying to earn some trust with Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James). Holden, on the other hand, has more or less felt like an outsider in Genoa City, with no one willing to give him the benefit of the doubt outside of Claire (Hayley Erin). Although he has a romantic history with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and would like to at least be her friend, she's been rather prickly and dismissive of him. Despite Holden's borderline pariah status, he's remained in town, knowing he's at least working as Damian's number two for Aristotle. Sadly, in The Young and the Restless episode airing on June 2, Damian gets the news from Aristotle's assistant that he's been fired ahead of Aristotle's secret French bash. While Damin doesn't seem terribly bothered by the news since he just accepted a job offer at Winters, he is concerned about what this now means for Holden. Even though Lily got Damian a job at Winters, she hasn't extended that same courtesy to Holden, so it looks like he'll be unemployed. But loyal to his friend, Damian tries to get Holden a new role at a new company in Genoa City. After sharing the firing news with Lily, Audra and Nate, Damian gets the idea to pitch Holden to Audra. Damian surmises that Holden could be a great employee for Audra at her new business, Vibrante. Of course, Audra gets a bit cagey about the idea. She even makes excuses why Holden won't be a good fit. However, Damian counters that Holden is a great employee. With all that being said, we have a feeling that Holden has no intention of returning to LA, at least not in the foreseeable future. The suave and vesper-drinking newcomer probably plans to stick around in Genoa City, but he will need a new job. If we had to guess, he'll land at one of three companies. First, we can't rule out the possibility that Audra will reluctantly offer Holden a position at Vibrante. While she obviously has some residual feelings for him and rather not work so closely together, we think she'll come to realize that if she pushes too hard against the idea, Lily and Nate may grow to suspect she doesn't want to partner with him because they still share a romantic connection she's trying to deny. So, rather than give Lily more ammunition not to trust her, Audra will bite the bullet and hire Holden. If Holden doesn't wind up at Vibrante, our next best guess is Newman Enterprises. Holden may not know a ton about Aristotle, but he's worked at Aristotle's companies. Therefore, Victor (Eric Braeden) may see Holden as an asset in this bubbling war with the mystery tycoon. Plus, with a glowing recommendation from Claire, Victor may be willing to give Holden a trial run. It should also be noted that we've always gotten the vibe that Holden is willing to play in those grey areas, and with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) no longer working for The Mustache, he may be able to use Holden's unique abilities. Now, if Holden doesn't find a home at Vibrante or Newman Enterprises, then perhaps Holden will take his talents to Chancellor with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). It bears repeating that Nikki could truly use some more assistance in the executive suite at the huge corporation. Yes, she has Claire working for her, but a company this size likely needs some more executive experience, especially with Aristotle lurking about to take the business. Again, Claire could put in a good word for Holden with her grandmother. Wherever Holden ends up, we can't wait to see his next act. He's new on the CBS soap, but he's intriguing to watch. The Young and the Restless June 2 Spoilers: Will Kyle Impress Victor With His Efforts During Nikki's Birthday?
On the June 2 episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki 's party will be nothing less than a glamorous event that will bring many people together. At the party, Devon will tease Nick about Sharon. He will also ask about Nick's dynamic with her. Nick will tell him clearly that they are friends, just the way he is with Phyllis. Meanwhile, Pietro will be moved when he has a conversation with Nikki, as she will thank him for helping Clair with the party. Tensions will rise between Michael and Victor after the former tries to have a conversation about Dumas. But Victor will not talk to him about that, which will make Michael more hurt. Will Kyle's efforts impress Victor? Once the lights dim, Claire and Kyle will bring out Nikki's beautiful cake. The fans will see Kyle making a wholesome speech about the birthday girl. He will then give her a bracelet engraved with her kids' and grandkids' names. Amid this, Victor will just stand, seemingly without being impressed by Kyle's efforts. This will potentially bring more problems to Kyle and Claire's relationship. Lily will be concerned about Dumas knowing their motives Dumas reveals to Lily, Nate, and Audra that Dumas' assistant has fired him. Lily will be concerned that Dumas knows what they were planning against him. Damian will think that this does not matter as he was going to quit anyway. But, according to Lily, Dumas may have intentions to go after Winters. Lilly will insist that this party will be an opportunity to grill Duman in person. With Damian's firing, Holden may also be out of a job; he will probably ask if Audra's company is hiring. Audra will make excuses to dismiss the idea. This points to Audra probably having more drama with Holden.

The Bold and the Beautiful preview week of May 26: proposals, threats and goodbyes, oh my!
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. This week, The Bold and the Beautiful fans have been treated to not one but two big look-ahead previews of what's coming up. Now that Memorial Day is behind us, it's time to focus on sweeps week and it looks like the B&B team saved the biggest drama for one of the biggest weeks in the TV calendar. Here's The Bold and the Beautiful preview for the week of May 26. More soaps coverage The Young and the Restless spoilers week of May 26-30General Hospital spoilers week of May 26-30Days of Our Lives spoilers week of May 26-30Beyond the Gates spoilers week of May 26-30The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers week of May 26-30 After last week saw Liam's (Scott Clifton) condition worsening, Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) catching a plane and Hope (Annika Noelle) getting a surprise proposal from Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), well, it seemed like there was no way to top that. Clifton has been giving the performance of a lifetime as he portrays Liam's slow decline as the result of a brain tumor and during the May 26 episode he implored Finn (Tanner Novlan) to help take care of his girls when the time comes. Liam is also hoping that Carter will be there to help, too. Little does Liam know, while he's giving a heartfelt soliloquy to Finn, Carter is on one knee, asking Hope to marry him. She didn't have an answer for him, so it's anyone's guess how this is going to turn out. Here's the first look-ahead preview of what's coming up this week: And here's even more of a look-ahead: The first look-ahead is the one that came at the end of the May 26 episode. In it, Liam hugs Beth and tells Finn that he doesn't know how he's going to say goodbye. Next we see Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) telling Hope and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that "she" is a monster and she needs to be kept away from her family. The "she" in question, of course, is Luna (Lisa Yamada), who, in the following scene, can be seen telling Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) that Steffy will never accept her, so "why not just eliminate that threat?" To her credit, Sheila shuts that down quickly, but it doesn't look like Luna is convinced. In the YouTube clip, Steffy and Finn share a moment together while Ridge tells the couple that Luna is one the hunt for Steffy. Finn looks upset. Next we see a different moment in the conversation between Luna and Sheila. Sheila tells Luna that Finn and Steffy have made a decision and she has to accept it, and Luna needs to "go." The clip ends as Luna is seen buying a gun and aiming it at a picture of Steffy. Interestingly, this is the first time we've seen Luna in her murderous element. We saw her before in flashbacks, but this time we're seeing the moment when she hatches a plan to kill someone who's standing in the way of getting what she wants. We have a feeling that things are about to take a very dark turn in the next week. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS and the following day on Paramount Plus.
