Coronation Street showdown in ITVX streaming release as new ‘couple' revealed
This article contains spoilers for tonight's Coronation Street which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX. A Coronation Street family was at war in recent scenes after one sibling made a controversial choice in romantic partner. Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) has only been back on the cobbles for five minutes, and already he's causing chaos. During an afternoon trip to the Rovers, Jason got chatting to Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) and soon bought her a drink – unaware that she was Theo Silverton's (James Cartwright) wife. Danielle was left devastated earlier this year when she discovered that Theo had been cheating on her with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), with the revelation that he was gay tearing the family apart. Though Theo has made the effort to keep things friendly for the sake of the kids, Danielle hasn't been so receptive of his olive branch. In tonight's episode, it became clear very quickly that Danielle knew who Jason was, and was using him to get at Theo. When Jason and Danielle emerged into the living room where Theo, Todd and the rest of the family were gathered, Danielle was clearly smug at having slept with Jason. As Jason insisted that he hadn't known who she was, Danielle gloated about her conquest, before pointing out to Theo that it wasn't nice to feel humiliated. With Danielle gone, the fireworks were far from over, as Todd laid into his brother for his mistake. More Trending Defensive, Jason argued that he hadn't been the one to steal Danielle's husband, leaving Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) to furiously jump in. Meanwhile, Theo chased after Danielle, who made it clear that she was done with him completely by dumping his wedding ring down the drain. Mom Faces Backlash After Shocking Video of Young Son Riding on Moving Lawn Mower Goes Viral
Haley Orrock is a content creator known for sharing her family and lifestyle online In May 2025, the mother-of-two posted a video of her son riding a lawn mower as her husband was mowing the backyard Her TikTok went viral after gaining criticism onlineHaley Orrock is a stay-at-home mom and content creator known for her budget-friendly DIY projects, through which she gradually transforms her small home on her own. With over 350,000 followers across her social media platforms, the young mother-of-two often posts content that resonates with everyday parents navigating real-life moments. However, on May 29, 2025, Orrock shared what she believed was an innocent video of her son, Theo, and husband spending time together in the backyard – but it quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons. Viewers were alarmed to see her young child sitting on a moving lawn mower while her husband used it to cut the grass. 'This went viral because I didn't know about kids and lawn mowers…' Orrock wrote in an updated post. Embarrassed by the original TikTok, she ended up taking it down after noticing 'too many people weren't reading the caption." "I realized I might be spreading a bad idea instead of awareness," she added. Instead, she reposted the video with the hope 'of saving a few tiny fingers and toes – especially for the parents who grew up feral like me.' Orrock urged other parents not to repeat her mistake and emphasized the importance of safety and caution, but also explained that she had grown up riding on mowers and didn't know any better. 'Looking back, it seems so obviously dangerous,' she captioned the new video. 'I'm just grateful I learned the risk before my baby got hurt.' Nevertheless, there was a slew of conflicting comments under her new post, with most users questioning how Orrock didn't realize it was such a big deal. 'You… didn't know your toddler shouldn't perch atop of a large motorized spinning blade?' one person commented. "What's terrifying to me is both mom AND dad didn't realize this was a bad idea?!' another wrote. Yet, a few followers appreciated Orrock's honesty and her attempt to keep the video on her profile. 'Thank you for spreading awareness at just how unsafe this is,' one user commented. 'My husband is a paramedic & has run on too many kids hurt by lawnmowers.' Another thanked her 'for learning and vowing to do better.' Despite being a mother of a toddler and a newborn baby, Orrock still labels herself a 'first-time mom" who is still learning from her children every day. 'Every stage with Theo is a first for me and honestly - I don't know what I am doing most of the time,' she wrote on an Instagram story. Orrock did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. Read the original article on People

Aldi Owners Holding Talks About Possible Merger, WiWo Reports
(Bloomberg) -- The families behind parts of Germany's Aldi empire of discount supermarkets have held talks about a possible merger, WirtschaftsWoche reported on Saturday. The discussions between the Heister family, which owns Aldi Sued, and two strands of the Albrecht family, which owns Aldi Nord, have been going on for several weeks, the magazine said, citing people close to the families it didn't identify. A proposal under which the two companies would combine under a joint holding company with shares evenly divided between the families' trusts is among scenarios being discussed, according to the magazine. While a merger was initially targeted by the end of the year, that is now viewed as unrealistic, WirtschaftsWoche said. In a first step, the companies may now agree to combine software and IT, it said. The companies didn't respond to WirtschaftsWoche requests for comment. Merger talks have become possible since the heirs behind Aldi Nord agreed to reorganize their side of the business three years ago, ending a feud that had drawn the once-obsessively secretive clan into the courtroom and the public eye. Family conflicts have peppered Aldi's history since brothers Theo and Karl Albrecht took over their parents' grocery store after World War II. They split in 1960 in a dispute over whether to sell cigarettes, drawing a line through Germany that created Aldi Nord and Aldi Sued. The two branches now have more than 10,000 stores combined, both in Germany and in international markets like the UK. Theo's side of the family also owns US discounter Trader Joe's, which it bought in 1979. More stories like this are available on

New mum Sciver-Brunt was set to miss Windies series
England's Nat Sciver-Brunt was set to miss the ongoing West Indies series on maternity leave before being made captain, says her wife 32, was named captain in April, a month after her son, Theo, who was carried by former England bowler Katherine, was born. "Nat was entitled to four months maternity leave, not being the birth mother," Katherine Sciver-Brunt told BBC Test Match Special."She took three weeks of that because England wanted her back for this series. "That was a huge sacrifice because those first eight weeks are so hard. "No-one would usually go back after three weeks, and Nat was pre-arranged to not play in this tournament and come back for the India series [which starts on 28 June]." Theo was with Sciver-Brunt during the T20 series which concluded on Monday and the first one-day international on Friday in Derby, where Katherine was working as a commentator for the matches were England's first under the all-rounder and new coach Charlotte Edwards, who were appointed after Heather Knight and Jon Lewis were sacked amid the fallout from last winter's Ashes defeat. Katherine travelled alongside England while pregnant throughout the winter but remained at home during the Women's Premier League in February and she gone into labour while Nat was at the tournament in India, her wife would not have made it home in time for the is the first mum to play for England since Arran Brindle, who played her last international in 2014."There were talks of a stand-in captain coming in for this series and that was a hard question for England," Katherine Sciver-Brunt said."But ultimately Lottie [Edwards] wanted Nat and I couldn't deny her that opportunity towards the back end of her career. "If I was unhappy or wasn't sure, Nat would not have done it. She is selfless in that way and that is why she makes such a good captain."Sciver-Brunt's comments come after the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced an update to its maternity policy on England players were guaranteed their full salary for the first 13 weeks post-childbirth and a percentage thereafter but they will now receive 12 months fully paid leave, plus an automatic contract extension and support with childcare and breastfeeding players will get six months paid maternity leave plus the contract had egg freezing treatment last summer and said she would like to carry a baby after her cricket career."When you talk about giving birth, it takes more than a year to get your body back into fitness and revert back to what you were," Katherine said."You have worked so hard as a female to get to that point in your career and then you have to question stepping back and having to juggle starting a family. "Even deciding to extract and freeze your eggs, there is time that has to be taken out for that."If you are an exceptional athlete you often have a long career ahead of you, but not if you want to start a family. "Normalising this conversation and to inspiring people that it can be done, there needs to be more of that and I think it will happen."
