In Australia, the financial year begins on June 1 and ends on June 30 the following year. As June 30 approaches, many businesses will offer exciting discounts to clear old stock before the new financial year begins. Now known as the end of financial year sales, this a time where shoppers can score amazing discounts on must-have items in fashion, beauty, home and tech. WHEN ARE THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES IN 2024? There's no official start date for the EOFY sales like Click Frenzy or the Black Friday sales, which always falls on the last Friday of November. Typically most major retailers will start to kick off the savings from June 1, but this doesn't stop some from starting early or starting much later, closer to June 30. There's no set run time, and you'll find each retailer does things a little differently. Some will run the sale for the entire month of June, whereas others will pick just a few key days or a week to promote their EOFY sales. Generally speaking, all the sales will be over once June 30 rolls around. Don't forget to sign up to our free shopping newsletter – you'll get it delivered to your inbox every single week.

Interview with Tommy Hilfiger
If the arched windows framing the Arabian Sea and Gateway of India, of the iconic Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai's sea-facing suite didn't summon enough drama, a conversation with one of fashion's most recognisable names, Tommy Hilfiger, certainly did. Seated comfortably on a cream leather couch, dressed in a classic navy blazer over a striped shirt, beige trousers, and bright white sneakers, Tommy Hilfiger looked every bit the icon of American prep he's known to be. A pop of red peeking from his pocket square added just the right amount of flair. His easy going manner and calm composure belied the clarity, and self assurance that he has honed over the forty years at the helm of his namesake brand. Over the next few minutes, he spoke about the brand's milestone anniversary, his creative collaborators, the Indian connection that dates back to his very first collection, and why he believes logos will never go out of style.

Effortless Summer Outfits Start With These 7 Key Trends
While many consider the transition-weather weeks as one of the trickiest time of year to get dressed, I'm beginning to think that summer may be the real season that takes the cake. Not only are you figuring out exactly what trends to take on for the hottest months of the year, but also how to incorporate them into your ensembles in a way that feels chic, practical, and—perhaps most importantly—comfortable. All that said, I'll also make the sweeping statement that this is the best season to get dressed. Sure, it may be 100 degrees with humidity on some days, but with the freedom of days (mostly) filled with sunshine, along with the carefree attitude that comes with the season and any summer 2025's best fashion trends will encourage you to play with your personal style—and what's more seasonal than that? From eye-catching prints and flouncy skirts to a continuation of fashion's hottest trends of the year, there's no doubt you'll be dressed the part. Scroll on for the need-to-know trends to sport all summer long. Summer Plaids launchmetrics Tommy Hilfiger spring/summer 2025 I know, I know—gingham is the unofficial print of the season, but hear me out: Opting for a warm-weather plaid will give your wardrobe an unexpected edge of cool. It doesn't have to feel grungy, either. Our team spotted iterations of the print on the runways of Tommy Hilfiger, Miu Miu, and Kallmeyer, to name a few, proving that this print can be as preppy, cool, or sophisticated as you make it. Vince Fenced Plaid Paneled Midi-Dress Lioness Ford Plaid Funnel Neck Plissé Top Acne Studios Plaid Shorts Zara Printed Tulle Skirt Rosie Assoulin Draped Plaid Stretch-Cotton Midi Skirt Flouncy Skirts launchmetrics Alaïa spring/summer 2025 Twirl girls, prepare for the return of the flounce hemline. Bias-cut circle skirts that swayed with every step were present on the runways of Chanel and Alaïa, so there's no doubt you'll be seeing these all summer. Airy, breezy, and incredibly versatile—what more could you need? Gwyneth Flounce-Hem Slip Skirt Bec + Bridge Esra Mini Skirt 3.1 Phillip Lim Lace Detail Liquid Satin Flounce Miniskirt Now 30% Off Guizio Soffiano Skirt Frame The Sway Denim Skirt Polka Dot Prints launchmetrics Moschino spring/summer 2025 To be clear, these are not your grandmother's polka dots. This playful print has made the rounds for the spring/summer 2025 runways, and it's already becoming a popular choice for those who want something with a little added oomph this summer. Jacquemus Rita Polka-Dot Off-The-Shoulder Gown Ulla Johnson Thalia Ruffle Sleeveless Top Hemant & Nandita Tira Polka-dot Silk Maxi Dress Miaou Karina Dress Now 37% Off Rixo Areza Polka-Dot Midi Skirt Bohemian Romance launchmetrics Chloé spring/summer 2025 If there's one trend that stands out for the trend of the year—it's the bohemian aesthetic. Micro miniskirts and minidresses are nothing new to the trend cycle, but there's something about this year's iterations that seem to have taken the industry by storm. Let these be your go-to when you want an easy and fun alternative to your everyday skirts and dresses. SAU LEE Andi Metallic Tweed Cocktail Minidress Aritzia Jewel Skort Cou Cou Intimages The Cami Slip Dress Miu Miu Micro Denim Logo Skirt Cult Gaia Charli Crinkled Chiffon Mini Dress Sheer Staples launchmetrics Sportmax spring/summer 2025 At this point, I think we can all consider the sheer trend a movement that's here to stay. Considering that the summer months require dressing with the lightest possible materials, this is your easy styling trick to look put together (and undeniably cool) without weighing yourself down. And if you're stumped on how to style it, I suggest approaching it with the idea of balance: You'll be showing some extra skin in one area, so stay covered in others. Earnings Preview: PVH (PVH) Q1 Earnings Expected to Decline
PVH (PVH) is expected to deliver a year-over-year decline in earnings on lower revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended April 2025. This widely-known consensus outlook gives a good sense of the company's earnings picture, but how the actual results compare to these estimates is a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price. The earnings report, which is expected to be released on June 4, 2025, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower. While the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations will mostly depend on management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call, it's worth handicapping the probability of a positive EPS surprise. This owner of the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands is expected to post quarterly earnings of $2.23 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of -9%. Revenues are expected to be $1.94 billion, down 0.8% from the year-ago quarter. The consensus EPS estimate for the quarter has been revised 1.1% higher over the last 30 days to the current level. This is essentially a reflection of how the covering analysts have collectively reassessed their initial estimates over this period. Investors should keep in mind that the direction of estimate revisions by each of the covering analysts may not always get reflected in the aggregate change. Estimate revisions ahead of a company's earnings release offer clues to the business conditions for the period whose results are coming out. Our proprietary surprise prediction model -- the Zacks Earnings ESP (Expected Surprise Prediction) -- has this insight at its core. The Zacks Earnings ESP compares the Most Accurate Estimate to the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the quarter; the Most Accurate Estimate is a more recent version of the Zacks Consensus EPS estimate. The idea here is that analysts revising their estimates right before an earnings release have the latest information, which could potentially be more accurate than what they and others contributing to the consensus had predicted earlier. Thus, a positive or negative Earnings ESP reading theoretically indicates the likely deviation of the actual earnings from the consensus estimate. However, the model's predictive power is significant for positive ESP readings only. A positive Earnings ESP is a strong predictor of an earnings beat, particularly when combined with a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), 2 (Buy) or 3 (Hold). Our research shows that stocks with this combination produce a positive surprise nearly 70% of the time, and a solid Zacks Rank actually increases the predictive power of Earnings ESP. Please note that a negative Earnings ESP reading is not indicative of an earnings miss. Our research shows that it is difficult to predict an earnings beat with any degree of confidence for stocks with negative Earnings ESP readings and/or Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) or 5 (Strong Sell). For PVH, the Most Accurate Estimate is lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate, suggesting that analysts have recently become bearish on the company's earnings prospects. This has resulted in an Earnings ESP of -1.05%. On the other hand, the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank of #2. So, this combination makes it difficult to conclusively predict that PVH will beat the consensus EPS estimate. While calculating estimates for a company's future earnings, analysts often consider to what extent it has been able to match past consensus estimates. So, it's worth taking a look at the surprise history for gauging its influence on the upcoming number. For the last reported quarter, it was expected that PVH would post earnings of $3.19 per share when it actually produced earnings of $3.27, delivering a surprise of +2.51%. Over the last four quarters, the company has beaten consensus EPS estimates four times. An earnings beat or miss may not be the sole basis for a stock moving higher or lower. Many stocks end up losing ground despite an earnings beat due to other factors that disappoint investors. Similarly, unforeseen catalysts help a number of stocks gain despite an earnings miss. That said, betting on stocks that are expected to beat earnings expectations does increase the odds of success. This is why it's worth checking a company's Earnings ESP and Zacks Rank ahead of its quarterly release. Make sure to utilize our Earnings ESP Filter to uncover the best stocks to buy or sell before they've reported. PVH doesn't appear a compelling earnings-beat candidate. However, investors should pay attention to other factors too for betting on this stock or staying away from it ahead of its earnings release.
