TBI issues Silver Alert for missing Williamson County man
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Silver Alert was issued Tuesday for a missing man out of Williamson County. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, 67-year-old David Nurre was last seen around 2 p.m. Monday on Concord Road in Brentwood. 📧 Have breaking news come to you: → Officials said he is 6 feet tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Nurre is also described as having a long, brown beard. He may be driving a white 2003 Toyota Rav 4 with a large dent on the back passenger side bumper. The vehicle's Tennessee license plate number is 'BFT0795.' Penn Hills man charged in connection with deadly Monroeville crash
Police have charged a Penn Hils man in connection with a crash in Monroeville that killed a woman and hurt three more in 2024. Allegheny County police say Marcus Alston Sr., 49, was the driver of a Nissan Pathfinder that crashed into the rear of a Toyota Rav 4 around midnight on Nov. 3 on Route 22, William Penn Highway. According to detectives, Alston's vehicle was traveling at more than 90 miles per hour when the crash occurred. The posted speed limit there is 35 miles per hour. Police say all four were taken to area hospitals in stable condition. Shiya Young, the passenger in Alston's vehicle, was pronounced dead. Detectives say Alston's blood alcohol content was .233 percent, and he was found to have a suspended driver's license. Alston is now facing multiple charges, including homicide by vehicle, homicide by vehicle while DUI, involuntary manslaughter and recklessly endangering another person. Fourth man arrested over ‘arson attack' at homes linked to Sir Keir Starmer after cops swoop on Stansted airport
A FOURTH man has been arrested as part of an investigation into a series of fires at properties linked to Sir Keir Starmer in North London. The arrest is connected to an investigation into a fire involving the PM's former Toyota Rav4 on May 8, a property where he once lived on May 11, and his family's former house on May 12. The man has been taken to a London police station, where he currently remains in police custody. Police have already charged Roman Lavrynovych, 21, a Ukrainian national, with three counts of arson with intent to endanger life; Stanislav Carpiuc, 26, a Romanian national, with conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life; Petro Pochynok, 34, a Ukrainian national, with conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life. The three men have been remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, (June 6). Carpiuc and Lavrynovych, also a roofer, both advertised themselves as male models on the internet. On website Carpiuc said he wanted to be the 'top male model in the world'. On Monday, police raided a two-bed North London flat said to have been previously shared by Pochynok and Carpiuc, his dad and brother until about six months ago. Carpiuc was arrested on Saturday at Luton Airport as he prepared to catch a Wizz Air flight to He studied business at Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent, and is awaiting his results. The investigation is being led by officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command due to the fires all having connections to a high-profile public figure. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should call police on 101 quoting CAD 441/12 May. Man charged for striking pole and heading home right after in Plainfield
PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A man was charged after police say he struck a pole in Plainfield and headed home right after. Police said they were dispatched to a one-car crash around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday on River Street in the area of Pond Street. Pedestrian dead after hit-and-run in West Hartford According to police, a grey Toyota Rav4 was traveling south on River Street when it struck a Frontier pole. The driver allegedly left the scene and headed home. The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage, police said. Andrew Keenan, 38, of Plainfield, was arrested at his home and charged with operating while under the influence, evasion of responsibility and failure to maintain lane. The passenger of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital for head and neck injuries, police said.
