Lindsay Lohan named Schwarzkopf ambassador after hair makeover
Lindsay Lohan has been named an ambassador for haircare company Schwarzkopf after undergoing a glamorous makeover this year. The Hollywood actress debuted a new hair colour back in March with a shade dubbed "Soft Gloss Blonde" and she's now teamed up with the brand for a campaign which tells the story of her "glow up" and how she's found her "confidence again" after being introduced to the products through her longtime colourist Tracey Cunningham. The Mean Girls star said in a statement: "Tracey is more than my colorist - she's a trusted creative partner. Whether I'm in a new movie or walking a red carpet - there's only one shot to get my hair color right and it's often a really tight turnaround. "Tracey is the ultimate collaborator, and I love that she takes the time to explain what products she uses and why. I learned about Schwarzkopf through Tracey because the result is so incredible every time and it's now the only brand I trust in the salon." Teresa Cordova, head of Schwarzkopf masterbrand U.S., added: "Lindsay is such a cultural icon. She's been someone who is universally recognized for her hair, but also adored by Millennials, Gen Z, all generations. "When we started to look at the campaigns we wanted to work on this year, relevant in the U.S. market and to us as a brand, what we stand for and our vision, Lindsay and having a partnership with her was very clear to us. We wanted to tell the story of her hair, her glow-up and her relationship with her stylist. "We really wanted to lean into this understanding that consumers change their hair when they're going through a big life change. We tell that story with Lindsay in the way of her finding that confidence again." Michelle Monaghan switched up her 'do for The White Lotus after a request from creator Mike White. 'We're midway thru @thewhitelotus season three so it's about that time to talk all things #JaclynLemon glam! 🤩,' Monaghan, 48, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, March 15, in a joint post with hairstylist Tracey Cunningham. 'Well we all know it takes a village with a lot of talent and inspiration.' Monaghan explained that White, 54, asked if she would go blonde after she booked the gig. Her reaction? 'Uh…YES! I'd shave my head for that man!' she wrote. 'Mike wanted the ladies to be 'a big blonde blob,'' Monaghan continued. 'He wanted us to convey the look of sameness — an interchangeable trio of sorts prior to discovering the nuances of each character as the season progresses. Going blonde was wonderful creative inspiration for me but I'd need an epic colorist to make those locks a reality.'
