Shani Trayodashi 2025: Significance
According to Scriptures, Trayodashi Tithi that falls on Saturday known as Shani Trayodashi.
This day is dedicated to worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Pradosh is observed twice a month during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha, according to Hindu Panchang. It will be observed during Krishna Paksha this time. Lord Shani is also worshipped on this sacred day to get rid of the malefic effects of Shani.
In South India, this day is also celebrated with great joy and happiness. People pray to Lord Shani, also known as the lord of Karma and Justice, in order to get rid of all the suffering and Karma that they may have committed in a previous life.

Shani Trayodashi 2025: Puja Vidhi
1. Devotees are advised to rise before dawn.
2. Clean the house, especially the puja area, take a bath, and dress nicely.
3. Set up an altar where you can place an idol of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and present flowers, sweets, and a light a diya with desi ghee and worship them.
4. Please remember that your face should be facing northeast throughout worship.
5. During Pradosh, which is Sandhya Kaal (evening), puja should also be performed.
6. On that day, one can observe the fast by consuming only fruits, or if they are unable to bear hunger, they can consume fruits, and sattvik food by using sendha namak or rock salt.
