Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt gives rare look into new relationship with son of ex-Super Bowl champion quarterback
Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt believes she's found her teammate for life. Hunt, 26, jumped on a social media trend and shared a glimpse into her life with boyfriend Derek Green - the son of former Super Bowl champion and ex-Chiefs quarterback Trent Green. She posted a video showing multiple clips of their adventures together, beginning with a paddle boarding excursion on a river. Hunt, who wore a hat, sunglasses, and a bikini in the video was sitting on her board while Taylor Swift 's hit song 'You Belong With Me' played over the footage. The text overlay on the video first read, 'You look happier...' before the images cut to Green and said, 'Thank you, I'm dating my best friend.' As the video continued, it showed multiple clips of Chiefs games, a trip to a fairground, and even the two interacting with each others' families and friends. She teased her relationship with Green back in April of 2025 in a different video posted to Instagram. Green was seen in the video at Arrowhead Stadium, but his identity wasn't revealed at the time. 'After meeting 7.5 years ago in this place... all along there was some invisible string,' Hunt captioned that video. Much like her recent post, that 'soft launch' also referenced a Swift song - titled 'Invisible String' off her 2020 album, Folklore. Hunt had previously been connected with Cody Keith, who she'd dated from September 2024 up until shortly before the Chiefs' playoff run in January. She later 'hard launched' her romance with Green in May.

Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, is dating Derek Green, the son of former Chiefs star quarterback Trent Green, she revealed on Instagram. Hunt, once Miss Kansas USA, posted a series of snapshots that showed her and Green holding hands and having fun on a vacation. 'My heart is full. Grateful for some much-needed time to rest, reflect, and reset after a whirlwind few months post-football season,' Hunt wrote. 'So thankful for time with the people who keep me grounded, remind me I'm loved, and never fail to make me laugh. Swipe for a few favorite snapshots from life lately.' Trent Green spent six seasons with the Chiefs as part of a long professional football career that included a Super Bowl win as the backup to. Kurt Warner with the St. Louis Rams. Green was cut by the B.C. Lions before breaking into the NFL and becoming a staple in Kansas City. His son also played quarterback, for SMU, a private university in Dallas, from 2018 to 2021, before transferring to Long Island University in 2022. Hunt also attended SMU. The pair also posed together while attending the White House Correspondents Dinner in late April. Last month, Hunt had alluded to a relationship in an Instagram story. It showed her and a man hugging with their backs turned to the camera while overlooking Arrowhead Stadium. It seems Gracie Hunt found love in a familiar place. The daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt appeared to hard launch her relationship with Derek Green, the son of former Super Bowl champion quarterback Trent Green, who spent six seasons with Kansas City, on Instagram this week. Hunt, formerly Miss Kansas USA, included a series of snapshots that showed the couple holding hands together in a carousel post from a recent vacation. They posed together by a pool in one image, while another video showed them taking a juice shot. 'My heart is full. Grateful for some much-needed time to rest, reflect, and reset after a whirlwind few months post-football season,' she wrote.
