Bruins Should Boost Offense By Signing Top Free Agent
With it now being August, there are not too many notable unrestricted free agents (UFAs) left. While this is the case, there are still a few solid players available for the taking who could be good for the Boston Bruins to bring in. Forward Jack Roslovic is undoubtedly one of them. Roslovic has shown throughout his career that he is capable of providing strong secondary offensive production, and there is no question that the Bruins need more of that. While the Original Six club boosted their bottom six this off-season, bringing in a player like Roslovic would have the potential to give them more offense in their middle six. Due to his versatility, Roslovic is able to play both center and right wing. Thus, if the Bruins signed him, they would have several options to consider with him in their lineup. He slot nicely on either their second or third right wing, but also could be a strong fit as their third-line center. Furthermore, due to his offensive skill, he would also be a clear option for their power play. Roslovic spent this past season with the Carolina Hurricanes, where he posted 22 goals and recorded 39 points in 81 games. He has also recorded at least 44 points two times in his career, so he has the ability to provide solid offense when playing at his best. Overall, on a short-term deal, Roslovic could be a good player for the Bruins to take a shot on. It will be interesting to see if they pursue him from here. Bruins Need Bounce-Back Season From Key Forward The Boston Bruins are hoping to put together a far better season in 2025-26 than they did this past campaign. However, for this to have a real chance of occurring, they will need some of their key players to have bounce-back years. Photo Credit: © Marc DesRosiers-Imagn Images
