RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - JANUARY 21: Brandon Moreno of Mexico reacts after his victory over Deiveson ... More Figueiredo of Brazil in the UFC flyweight championship fight during the UFC 283 event at Jeunesse Arena on January 21, 2023 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. (Photo by Buda Mendes/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images) Former UFC men's flyweight champion Brandon Moreno is back and fighting in his home country of Mexico. Moreno takes on former title challenger Steve Erceg in an important battle at 125 pounds to see which man can stay in the title hunt. Follow along to see the most recent results, highlights, reactions and grades via the fight score as soon as each bout is over, and the stats are official. The Fight Score is a part of the F.I.G.H.T System metrics I created to gauge the unbiased excitement level of every fight. Here is a look at the card. The results will be filled in real-time. The event will stream live on ESPN+ in the United States. RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - MAY 04: Steve Erceg of Australia prepares to face Alexandre Pantoja of ... More Brazil in a UFC flyweight championship bout during the UFC 301 event at Farmasi Arena on May 04, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. (Photo by Alexandre Loureiro/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images) Erceg is in a must-win situation. He's on a two-fight losing streak, and those losses came against the champion Alexandre Pantoja and a knockout defeat at the hands of Kai Kara-France, the man most of us expect will challenge for the title later this year. If Erceg loses to Moreno in the main event, he won't just find himself on a three-fight losing streak—he'll have also ruined almost every logical path to a title shot any time in the near future. That's pressure. MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - MARCH 28: Kelvin Gastelum poses on the scale during the UFC Fight Night ... More ceremonial weigh-in at CDMX Arena on March 28, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico. (Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) Kelvin Gastelum is another fighter in a bit of a must-win situation. Gastelum has declared himself a full-time middleweight, so he should be at his best since leaving the horrendous weight cut down to welterweight behind him. If Gastelum loses to Joe Pyfer—especially by KO—it'll make it very tough for him to make another run at a world title. MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - MARCH 28: Ateba Gautier of Cameroon poses on the scale during the UFC Fight ... More Night official weigh-in at the InterContinental Mexico City on March 28, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico. (Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) Two fighters are making their promotional debuts, and both are among the more exciting prospects in the UFC. Ateba Gautier is a 6-foot-4, 22-year-old stud from Cameroon. He blew through Yura Naito on Season 8 of the Dana White's Contender Series to earn his spot on the roster, and he draws Jose Daniel Medina in his first official fight with the UFC. MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - MARCH 28: David Martinez of Mexico poses on the scale during the UFC Fight ... More Night ceremonial weigh-in at CDMX Arena on March 28, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico. (Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) David Martinez is 11-1 and from Ecatepec de Morelos, Mexico. The crowd will be fired up for him, and he has established himself as an all-action fighter. He will step into the Octagon with Saimon Oliveira on the main card. Be sure to stay here for the latest updates, highlights, reactions, and the Fight Scores to see which fight actually deserves the performance bonus.

UFC Tonight: What You Need To Know About The UFC Mexico Fight Card
MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - MARCH 28: (L-R) Opponents Brandon Moreno of Mexico and Steve Erceg of ... More Australia face off during the UFC Fight Night ceremonial weigh-in at CDMX Arena on March 28, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico. (Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) The is back at Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico for tonight's UFC Mexico fight card. The UFC Fight Night features a main event between former two-time UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno and recent UFC flyweight title challenger Steve Erceg. Moreno is coming off a decision win over Amir Albazi, which ended his two-fight losing skid. Meanwhile, Erceg is looking to end a two-fight losing skid of his own heading into the UFC Mexico City headliner. Manuel Torres faces Drew Dober in a lightweight bout in the evening's co-main event. Below is the pertinent information you need to know about tonight's UFC Mexico fight card. MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - MARCH 28: Brandon Moreno of Mexico is interviewed during the UFC Fight Night ... More ceremonial weigh-in at CDMX Arena on March 28, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico. (Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) Moreno (22-8-2) is the No. 2 fighter in the official UFC flyweight rankings. The 30-year-old is a former two-time UFC 125-pound champion. Moreno's first title reign began in June 2021 with a submission win over Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 263. He returned the title to Figueiredo in their UFC 270 rematch, losing that January 2022 contest via decision. Moreno then won the interim flyweight belt in July 2022 with a UFC 277 TKO triumph over Kai Kara-France. In January 2023, Moreno regained the undisputed UFC title from Figueiredo with a TKO victory at UFC 283. Like his first title run, Moreno's second stint with the 125-pound ended without him making a successful defense. Alexandre Pantoja took the belt from him in July 2023 via split decision. The ex-champ then lost a split decision to Brandon Royval in February 2024. Moreno bounced back from that loss with a decision win over Amir Albazi in the main event of a UFC Fight Night event in Edmonton in November. The ex-champ has not fought since defeating Albazi. MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - MARCH 28: Steve Erceg of Australia poses on the scale during the UFC Fight ... More Night ceremonial weigh-in at CDMX Arena on March 28, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico. (Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) Steve Erceg (12-3) has not been with the UFC long. The fighter from Perth, Australia, has just five UFC bouts to his name, including a surprise title fight in May 2024. Erceg was 9-1 when he made his UFC debut at UFC 289 in June 2023. Despite fighting on the early prelims of that card and not getting a finish, Erceg picked up a 'Performance of the Night' bonus for a unanimous decision win that night over David Dvorak. That win put Erceg into the top 15 of the UFC's 125-pound division. In his next outing, Erceg faced Alessandro Costa in the 'featured prelim' spot of the UFC 295 fight card. Erceg again picked up a unanimous decision win on that night. After defeating Costa, Erceg moved up to No. 12 in the division. For his next scrap, Erceg faced Matt Schnell in March of this year. Erceg won that fight and his second 'Performance of the Night' bonus with a second-round knockout of Schnell. The win put him in the top 10 of the division, and thanks to some booking quirks, it earned him a shot at Pantoja's title in the top spot of the UFC 301 fight card. Erceg handled himself well against Pantoja but lost to the champ by decision in their May 2024 matchup. Erceg next faced Kai Kara-France in the co-main event of UFC 305, a fight that Kara-France won via first-round TKO. Erceg enters UFC Mexico City as the No. 8 ranked UFC flyweight. Jared Cannonier vs. Gregory Rodrigues preview, odds, start time for UFC Fight Night 251
Jared Cannonier and Gregory Rodrigues meet in the main event of UFC Fight Night 251. The middleweight bout takes place Saturday, Feb. 15, at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Check out this quick preview of the matchup. Cannonier (17-8 MMA, 10-8 UFC) enters this fight looking to end a two-fight skid. After coming up short in a title challenge against Israel Adesanya at UFC 276, Cannonier rebounded with back-to-back decision wins over Sean Strickland and Marvin Vettori. However, 2024 was not kind to "Killa Gorilla," as he was finished by Nassourdine Imavov in June and dropped a decision to Caio Borralho in August. Rodrigues (16-5 MMA, 7-2 UFC) comes in with the momentum of a three-fight winning streak. After a first-round loss against Brunno Ferreira at UFC 283, "Robocop" finished Denis Tiuliulin and Brad Tavares, followed by a unanimous decision win over Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC 304. Cannonier is currently ranked No. 7 in the UFC's official middleweight rankings. Rodrigues is unranked. The oddsmakers and the pubic favor the Brazilian fighter, listing Rodrigues -230 and Cannonier +184 via FanDuel. Cannonier and Teixeira are expected to walk to the cage at approximately 9:10 p.m. ET. The fight will stream on ESPN+. For more on the card, visit MMA Junkie's event hub for UFC Fight Night 251.
