Former NFL quarterback Jordan Palmer has 3 things he looks for in rookie quarterbacks, and 1st overall draft pick Cam Ward has what he's looking for. Sports Seriously The final week of the 2025 UFL regular season is here, but there won't be much on the line over the final four games of the campaign. The UFL's four playoff spots have been wrapped up, while the league has determined the locations for each conference championship game. That means the Birmingham Stallions, DC Defenders, Michigan Panthers and St. Louis Battlehawks may all consider resting some of their starters to stay healthy for the championship games. Meanwhile, fans of the other four teams – the Arlington Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats and San Antonio Brahmas – will get one last chance to cheer their squads on during the 2025 campaign. After that, each team will enter offseason mode, where uncertainty will surround rosters as players make the jump to the NFL. Here's what to know about the UFL's Week 10 schedule and how to watch all four matchups. UFL schedule Week 10: What games are on today? The final week of the 2025 UFL season will feature four matchups. There will be one game played on Friday and one Saturday before a doubleheader closes the regular season on Sunday. Below is a complete look at the spring football league's Week 10 schedule. (All times Eastern.) Friday, May 30 St. Louis Battlehawks at DC Defenders, 8 p.m., Fox Saturday, May 31 Houston Roughnecks at Michigan Panthers, 3 p.m., ESPN Sunday, June 1 Arlington Renegades at San Antonio Brahmas, Noon, ABC Birmingham Stallions at Memphis Showboats, 3 p.m., Fox UFL SCHEDULE 2025: Dates, times, TV channel, more for every spring football game Friday UFL game time, TV channel, live stream St. Louis Battlehawks (7-2) at DC Defenders (6-3) Start time : 8 p.m. ET : 8 p.m. ET TV channel : Fox : Fox Live stream: Fubo The Battlehawks vs. Defenders game will be a preview of the XFL conference championship game. As such, it's fair to expect both teams will hold a little something back, especially with the game already set to be held in St. Louis. The Defenders are expected to sit first-team quarterback Jordan Ta'amu and give Mike DiLiello a chance to prove himself. The Austin Peay product completed 17 of 29 passes for 206 yards and a touchdown while playing the second half of DC's Week 9 loss to Houston. Presently, the Battlehawks are expected to start Max Duggan, who took over for the injured Manny Wilkins as St. Louis' starter midway through the 2025 UFL season. Brandon Silvers could get time at quarterback as well after splitting reps with Duggan last week. Saturday UFL game time, TV channel, live stream Houston Roughnecks (4-5) at Michigan Panthers (6-3) Start time : 3 p.m. ET : 3 p.m. ET TV channel : ESPN : ESPN Live stream: Fubo, ESPN+ The Roughnecks are coming off a last-minute win over the Defenders. Can they stay hot to end the season against the Panthers? Houston will rely on quarterback Jalan McClendon to make that happen. He completed 21 of 30 passes last week for 232 yards and two touchdowns, while Lorenzo Lingard averaged 10 yards per carry on the ground. If those two can play well, the Panthers may have trouble slowing down the Roughnecks' offense. Of course, it's also worth noting the Panthers will play in the USFL conference championship next week. The game is already set to be played in Birmingham, so it isn't clear whether coach Mike Nolan will use this week to rest his starters. That could complicate Michigan's potential path to victory. DARYL JOHNSTON: UFL coaching departures not about lack of confidence in league Sunday UFL game times, TV channels, live streams Arlington Renegades (4-5) at San Antonio Brahmas (1-9) Start time : Noon ET : Noon ET TV channel : ABC : ABC Live stream: Fubo, ESPN+ The Renegades and Brahmas are both out of playoff contention, so this game will be all about pride. Arlington showed some last week by pummeling Memphis 30-12 despite already being out of the postseason race and could succeed against a similarly struggling opponent. San Antonio ranks last in the UFL in both points scored and allowed per game this season, so barring a big game from running back Jashaun Corbin, the Brahmas may be hard-pressed to end their five-game losing streak. Birmingham Stallions (6-3) at Memphis Showboats (2-7) Start time : 3 p.m. ET : 3 p.m. ET TV channel : Fox : Fox Live stream: Fubo The Stallions are set to host the USFL championship game next weekend. Like their other playoff-bound counterparts, they may opt to rest their starters with not much on the line. Meanwhile, Memphis is looking ahead to next season and has been splitting time between E.J. Perry and Dresser Winn at quarterback. If the Brahmas win, the Showboats will need to win to avoid tying for the UFL's worst record in 2025. If not, Memphis will simply be looking to close a disappointing season on a high note.

Former MSU QB Rocky Lombardi to start for UFL's Michigan Panthers this weekend

Former MSU QB Rocky Lombardi to start for UFL's Michigan Panthers this weekend A former Michigan State quarterback is set to make a start in the UFL this week. Former Spartans quarterback Rocky Lombardi will reportedly start for the Michigan Panthers in their regular season-finale on Saturday afternoon from Ford Field in Detroit. James Larsen reported the notable news related to Lombardi on Thursday. Lombardi has primarily served as the Panther's third string quarterback this season, according to Larsen. Lombardi has not recorded any stats in any of the Panthers' games so far this year. Lombardi played three seasons at Michigan State from 2018 to 2020, where he appeared in 22 games at quarterback. He notably led Michigan State to upset wins over Purdue in 2018, and Michigan and Northwestern in 2020. His performance against the Wolverines in 2020 is still considered an all-timer for Michigan State. Following the 2020 season, Lombardi transferred to Northern Illinois where he started most of the three seasons he played with he Huskies, which included winning the MAC championship in 2021. Kickoff between the Panthers and Houston Roughnecks is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN. Five things to watch for in Week 10 of the 2025 UFL season

Keeping MVP frontrunner and DC Defenders quarterback Jordan Ta'amu upright will be at the top of the priority list for interim head coach Shannon Harris as his team enters the final weekend of the 2025 UFL regular season. "I may pull him a lot sooner than last week just to keep him in rhythm a little bit and give him some quick reads — things like that where he's not holding onto the ball," Harris said. "That's the biggest thing. We want to make sure we keep him in a rhythm and don't get stale." Harris said the plan last week was to get second-string quarterback Mike DiLiello some live reps while also maintaining Ta'amu's timing and rhythm with the starters by giving him the first half of playing time. With the St. Louis Battlehawks and Defenders meeting again next weekend in the XFL Conference title game, Harris chose to keep Ta'amu on the sidelines by starting DiLiello for the final game of the regular season. Ta'amu currently leads the UFL in passing yards (2,153) and passing touchdowns (17), with just four interceptions this year. [MORE: What is the UFL? Everything to know about the 2025 United Football League ] The Battlehawks (7-2) and the Defenders (6-3) kick off Week 10 on Friday (8 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app). The Michigan Panthers (6-3) host the Houston Roughnecks (4-5) In the lone game on Saturday (3 p.m. ET). In Sunday's doubleheader, the Arlington Renegades (4-5) face the San Antonio Brahmas (1-8) on the road (noon ET), followed by the Birmingham Stallions (6-3) taking on the Memphis Showboats (2-7) to close things out (3 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app). Here's a closer look at five things to watch for in Week 10: 1. QB Mike DiLiello to start for Defenders The Austin Peay product went 17-for-29 for 207 yards and a touchdown in the Defenders' surprising loss to the Roughnecks last week. Now, DiLiello gets his first start, with Spencer Sanders serving as the backup and Ta'amu as the emergency No. 3 quarterback. Along with Ta'amu, the Defenders will rest a handful of other regular starters for the playoffs, including wide receiver Cornell Powell, linebacker Anthony Hines, pass rusher Derek Roberson and cornerback Bryce Thompson. On the other side, St. Louis head coach Anthony Becht will play most of his starters, including QB Max Duggan. 2. Siaosi Mariner surprises as UFL receiving yards leader Under the radar this season, Mariner tops the UFL in receiving yards with 527 on 31 receptions and a score. His 17 yards per reception is the fourth-best mark in the league. Houston's Justin Hall leads the league with 58 receptions, while Powell is tops in receiving touchdowns with seven. Vying for the league lead in rushing yards is St. Louis' Jacob Saylors, whose 499 yards is tops in the UFL ahead of Week 10. San Antonio's Jashaun Corbin (459 yards) is second, while Deon Jackson (419 yards) is third. 3. Stallions peaking at the right time The defending UFL champions started the season scuffling at 3-2 but have won three of their last four games and are peaking at the right time. Part of the improved play has been the return of J'Mar Smith, who has stabilized the quarterback position and the entire offense because of his experience in head coach Skip Holtz's scheme. It's also taken some time for Birmingham's new roster to gel and deal with injury concerns, according to Holtz. "I call them the intangible things," he said. "They're the things you can't measure — where your motivation is, where your attitude is, where your passion or desire, you're why. "It's the intangible things that make championship teams, and I think that's one of the things that this team has done a good job of as we've gone through the season. It was very hard at the beginning of the season because 50% of our team is new, so we had to teach a new culture." 4. UFL announces Sportsman of the Year Award nominees This week, the UFL announced eight nominees for the 2025 UFL Sportsman of the Year. The nominees are Seth Green (Renegades), Barry Wesley (Stallions), Chris Rowland (Defenders), Leon O'Neal Jr. (Roughnecks), Jaylon Allen (Showboats), Ryan Nelson (Panthers), Steven Stillianos (Brahmas) and Trave Feeney (Battlehawks). The award goes to the player who best exemplifies the league's core values by demonstrating excellence on the field and a deep commitment to community service off the field. The winner will be announced at the 2025 UFL Championship Game in St. Louis on June 15. One of the top runners in the UFL last season, Lovett returns for San Antonio's last game of the year after landing on IR with an undisclosed injury earlier this season. In other UFL roster moves, the Roughnecks signed pass rusher Lonnie Phelps after he was released by San Antonio earlier this season. Eric D.
