Sofia Pablo meets Jenna Ortega, other cast of 'Wednesday' in Australia
Sofia Pablo just met some of the cast of Netflix series 'Wednesday,' including Jenna Ortega! On Instagram on Saturday, the Kapuso actress shared her close-up encounter with Jenna, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, and 'Wednesday' creator Tim Burton in Sydney, Australia. 'So, this happened,' Sofia wrote. 'Thanks to my Netflix Philippines family for this experience.' Sofia was also joined by Filipino content creators Nicko Sia, Kerwin King, Chris Cantada, and Hans Galendez, among others. In a separate post, the 'Prinsesa ng City Jail' actress also shared her outfit for the international event: an all-black ensemble inspired by Wednesday Addams' aesthetic. "Wednesday" Season 2 premiered Part 1 on Netflix earlier in August. Part 2 will arrive on September 3. It has also been renewed for Season 3. Sofia is currently in college. Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay mark their first day of college
Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay are attending college together! On Instagram, the two Sparkle stars posted photos and a video of them during their first day of school at UST Angelicum College. As seen in their posts, Sofia and Allen were wearing their uniforms. "From SHS to college… but this time, with him," Sofia said in her post, where she and Allen lip-synced to Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" while in campus. Meanwhile, Allen captioned their pictures with "your college freshman." In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, Allen said he was inspired to continue his studies after watching Sofia. Allen temporarily stopped going to school as he pursued his showbiz career. "Last year sabi ko parang gusto ko nang pumasok ng pag-aaral kasi nakikita ko siya napagsasabay niya naman and ngayon finally magkaklase na kaming dalawa," he said. Allen and Sofia are pursuing a degree in communication. "Na-feel naming na mas ano sa career path namin and work namin 'yung communication. At least mas mate-train din kami behind the camera," Sofia said. Sofia and Allen are also known as Team Jolly. They previously starred together in "Prinsesa ng City Jail," "Luv Is: Caught in His Arms," and "In My Dreams." —MGP, GMA Integrated News

Sofia Pablo graduates from senior high school: ‘My diploma era'
Sofia Pablo has finished senior high school! The teen Kapuso star shared snaps of herself at the University of Santo Tomas, Sofia dressed in a white mini dress and high heels, and carried her black toga and cap. 'Currently: walking my way into my diploma era,' she said. Sofia previously opened up about the challenges of being an actress and student at UST Angelicum College, choosing to do a group work by herself because her schedule isn't the easiest to work around. "I don't wanna be the 'pabigat' or 'walang ambag' sa group,' she said back then. In May, she defended her high school thesis, and in early June, she shared the good news that she will be graduating with honors.
