Kaloy Tingcungco visits Great Sphinx of Giza in Egypt
Kaloy Tingcungco's trip to Egypt is one for the books! On Instagram, the 'Unang Hirit' host shared his visit to one of the most iconic landmarks in the world: The Great Sphinx of Giza in Egypt. Kaloy's post featured the Great Sphinx, a mythical monument carved from limestone, known for its body of a lion and the head of a human. 'An Egypt carousel post—this time featuring the Great Sphinx,' he said in the caption. Aside from the famous landmark, Kaloy also visited the Great Pyramid of Giza, the only still existing wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Kaloy is a mainstay in 'Unang Hirit,' a Kapuso morning show airing from Mondays to Fridays, from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Among the new members of the UH Barkada include Winwyn Marquez, Michael Sager, and Josh Ford. What Vince Maristela, Xyriel Manabat will miss most from 'Pinoy Big Brother'
Xyriel Manabat and Vince Maristela guest on Unang Hirit on June 2, 2025 Vince Maristela and Xyriel Manabat are back in the outside world, but they are already missing their experiences inside the 'Pinoy Big Brother' house. In Monday's episode of 'Unang Hirit,' Xyriel said she would miss making unlimited champorado inside the 'PBB' house. ''Yun 'yung binabantayan nila sa akin, kung pang ilang champorado ko na,' she said. 'Sa housemates naman, mami-miss ko talaga si kuya River [Joseph] and si Will [Ashley],' she added. 'Sila 'yung mga solid na mga nakausap ko.' Meanwhile, Vince said he would miss the dishes prepared by Klarisse de Guzman. 'Sa housemates, mami-miss ko naman si Shuvee [Etrata] pati si Dustin [Yu],' he said. 'Mas lumalim pa 'yung friendship namin [sa loob ng bahay ni kuya],' he added. Vince and Xyriel were the latest evictees in the PBB house. As of writing, eight housemates remain. Anjo Pertierra shares hilarious cover of 'A Thousand Years' featuring Taylor Lautner lookalike
'Unang Hirit' host Anjo Pertierra just met Cristopher Diwata, the viral guy behind the iconic line, "What hafenm Vella.' On Instagram, Anjo shared a hilarious clip of himself with Cristopher. While Anjo sings Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years," which was part of the official soundtrack of the "Twilight" films, Christopher can be heard delivering his iconic lines. 'A thousand years ft. Taylor,' Anjo wrote in the caption. Cristopher guested in 'Unang Hirit' on Tuesday. In 2013, the 35-year-old joined the "It's Showtime" segment "Kalokalike" as Taylor Lautner's "Twilight" character, Jacob Black. Over a decade later, Cristopher's clip resurfaced, causing him to go viral again and stamp his place in the Philippine internet's hall of fame for memes. TikTok users, as well as celebrities have been dubbing and recreating his iconic lines: "What hafen, Vella? Why you cryin' again? I know, vampire, right? Vampire will feyt to me." SB19's Josh Cullen wants to do a music collab with Felip
Josh Cullen is interested in doing a collaboration project with Felip, also known as his fellow SB19 member Ken. On Monday's episode of "Unang Hirit," Josh mentioned Felip's name as of the artists he wants to do music with, including Sarah Geronimo and O! Side Mafia. As for Felip, he said that he would be delighted to work with Flow G, Skusta Clee, and Player Two. Both Josh and Felip released their debut solo albums last year. Josh dropped "Lost & Found," while Felip dropped "7sins." In the same segment, Josh and Felip also talked about their experience of including their moms in the star-studded music video of "DUNGKA!" "Parang hindi na [sila] kailangan i-convince eh," Josh said. "Gustong-gusto nga nila eh." "Very enjoy naman, and game na game sila sa pagsasayaw," he added. "DUNGKA!" is an upbeat rave track from SB19's EP "Simula at Wakas." The album includes their comeback single, "DAM," from February. The P-Pop Kings will kick off their Simula at Wakas World Tour with a two-night concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on May 31 and June 1. Michael Sager recreates 'PBB' chips over rice meal, challenges Erwan Heussaff to do his own take
Michael Sager seemed to miss the food he enjoyed inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house. On Instagram, the ex-housemate recreated his favorite rice with soy sauce, oil, and chips meal in the kitchen of his new home. Michael, who is now a host-mate in "Unang Hirit," said the chips over rice meal was one of his favorite snacks inside the "PBB" house. As he took spoonful bites of the dish, Michael said it reminded him of his stint inside the reality TV show. "I really miss this, and it's still my favorite," he said. At the end of his video, he challenged Erwan Heussaff to try and do the same dish. "I'm not Erwan, but this is the best I can do," he said. "Erwan, how about you?" In April, Erwan brought a "PBB" meme to life by cooking sopas in a rice cooker. Erwan himself was mentioned inside the PBB house when Bianca De Vera and Michael joked about look-alikes.
